The invention relates to the field of fire, in particular to methods of localization of forest fires. There is a method of extinguishing fires (RF application for invention No. 95121487/12), lies in the visual guidance of the aircraft to the fire and plum ognegasitelem liquid. The known method is not effective enough in conditions of strong winds, high smoke. There is a method of localizing a forest fire (RF application for invention No. 96120344/12) by annealing of forest combustible materials, fixed external to the front of the fire boundary annealing using a gas-jet jet flow gas turbine engine.
