FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: claimed method includes introducing of filtering cardboard sheets on beehive bottom, wherein said sheets have size of 250x200x1 mm and contain 50-100 mg of fluvalinate for 25 days. Method of present invention makes it possible to increase treatment effectiveness and to exclude direct contact of treated surface with honeycomb. EFFECT: increased treatment effectiveness. 1 tbl, 1 ex
The invention relates to beekeeping. In the veterinary drugs based on fluvalinate used for the treatment of bee colonies with varroa. Fluvalinate belongs to the group of cyanopiperidine. Chemical formula: (RS-a-cyano-3-phenoxybenzyl (R)-2-{2-chloro-4-(trifluoromethyl)-aniline}-3-methylbutanoate. Valid contact, blocking communication between the Central and peripheral nervous system. Srednerussian for warm-blooded. LD50 for rats 261-282 mg/kg non-Toxic to birds, safe for bees. LD 50 for bees during contact exposure is 4.66 and 9.0 µg A.I. per bee. Medicinal drugs make hives in the form of thermal spray, water emulsions, polymer and wood plates (1, 2, 3). Processing of bee colonies thermal spray and water emulsion acaricides most effective in btreplay period. For the treatment of bee colonies with brood use plastic and wooden plates impregnated with fluvalinate (apistan, APETIT, barroeta and others). A known way of dealing with varroa bee by drug fumian representing a plate made of thin wood size 200·25·1 mm, containing 80 mg of fluvalinate. A bee colony is treated by placing the plates on the inside of the hive between frames (cells) based 1-2 plates 7-12 nesting boxes. For families the power up to 6 frames rather is part of one plate. In strong families hung two plates between 3-4 and 7-8 frames, a weak one in the center of the nest. In families without brood plates hold 3 days, with brood - 25 days (3). Thus, based on the strength of families with protivovirusnyh treatment fumicino in bee nests make 80-160 mg fluvalinate, which is in direct contact not only with bees, but honey, wax, pollen and other bee products. The aim of the invention is to reduce the risk of contamination of bee products by reducing the dose of the drug and prevent direct contact of acaricide with them. This goal is achieved by the fact that soaked acaricidal in the amount of 50 and 100 mg of the active ingredient leaves the filter technical carton size 250·200·1 mm is placed at the bottom of the hives closer to the tapped for a period of 25 days. An example of the method. Prepare sheets of filtering 200·250·1 mm, which is uniformly impregnated with fluvalinate, 50, 100, and 160 mg on a sheet and dried. Pick four groups of bee colonies with brood in 3 families in each. In the first two and fourth groups, the strength of families is 12-14 framework, in the third group - 5-6 frames. In the first experimental group in each family at the bottom of the hive closer to the tap-hole is placed on one sheet of cardboard containing 160 mg of the active ingredient. The second experimental group processing is to see in the same way, placing in the family leaves with 100 mg of fluvalinate. In the third group of bee families spend processing sheets with 50 mg of the active ingredient. The fourth group of families treated with fumicino, placing in each hive 2 plates (160 mg of the active ingredient). Before treatment and 25 days after her from families take samples of bees, brood and determine their infestation of mites, varroa. Efficiency is determined by the change in the degree of infestation of bees (table). Acaricidal efficacy of the method of application of fluvalinate
The use of the proposed method against varroa bee in veterinary practice provides the following benefits: - reduces the dose of the active substance by 62.5% compared with the known method; - eliminates the direct contact of the treated surface with cells that reduces the risk of contamination of products is s bee residues of the active substance; - high technical efficiency of processing is maintained by increasing 2.5 times the area of contact of the bees with the drug. The way to combat varroa bee, including the processing of bee families in the hive by fluvalinate, characterized in that fluvalinate contribute to the hive in the form of sheets of cardboard filter size 250×200×1 mm, containing 50-100 mg of the active substance on the bottom of the hive for a period of 25 days.
