The invention relates to the field of beekeeping. The use of the drug for the treatment of ascosphaerosis bees.

The ascosphaerosis - contagious disease of bees and drone larvae and pupae caused by fungi Ascosphaera apis (A. apis). Affected larvae lose their elasticity, become lime-white solid lumps adhering to the walls of the cells. Beehive, beehive, inventory is treated with 10% hydrogen peroxide solution with addition of 0.5% formic acid. Weak families unite, podsalivayut, nests will reduce. For the treatment most often used nystatin [1].

Nystatin is used in the ascosphaerosis bees according to the instruction [2]. Its major drawback is that because of the wide application of evolving resistance of the fungus to him and the effectiveness of the treatments significantly reduced.

Known aqueous solution of askozia used to combat ascosphaerosis bees active ingredient which is propiconazol (2-(2,4-dichlorophenyl)-4-propyl-2-(1H-1,2,4-triazolyl-1-methyl)-1,3-dioxolan) [3]. The main disadvantage of the drug Asotin is the presence in the formulation of organic solvents and emulsifiers which have a negative effect on bees. Production technology of multistage drug that affects its price.

To combat ascosphaerosis bees known drug - Ascott. This drug performance is made by the oil concentrate of nystatin in combination with activetestsuite components (thymol) [4], [5]. The disadvantage of this drug is that processing is carried out in early spring and autumn period, and it does not guarantee prevention of ascosphaerosis in the summer and autumn periods, insufficient efficiency, small breadth of the spectrum.

The task of the invention is the expansion of the range of available drugs with a high therapeutic effect and are safe for bees and health beekeeper.

Based on the analysis of scientific and practical research suggested the drug, which additionally contains ATOX and furatsilin.

ATOX (silica, Aerosil GOST 14922) is a fine black powder of white color, consisting of 99.9% silicon dioxide (SiO2). The particle size of 5-20 nm, and specific surface 280-360 m2/, Insoluble in water, acids and alkalis. Without smell. The aqueous suspension has a slightly acid reaction. Has a high adsorption capacity, can influence the structure of biomolecules in the course of biochemical reactions in the body. In Foxe there are no impurities that can adversely affect animals and the quality of the products.

For the treatment of bees drug is prepared from the following components, wt%:

Nystatin 26-32

Thymol 5-9

ATOX 54-60

Furatsilin 5-9

The drug contains (g/l of syrup):

Nystate is 1.0 to 1.5

Thymol of 0.25-0.3

ATOX 1,5-2,0

Furatsilin 0,2-0,25

Used with sugar syrup (1:1), two or three times with an interval of 7 days.

Examples of specific performance.

The drug is prepared in three versions.

option 1, in wt.%:

Nystatin 26

Thymol 8

ATOX 60

Furatsilin 6

just 100,0

option 2, in wt.%:

Nystatin 28

Thymol 7

ATOX 58

Furatsilin 7

just 100,0

option 3, in wt.%:

Nystatin 32

Thymol 5

ATOX 54

Furatsilin 9

just 100,0

The experiments revealed that out of the proposed options is optimal second.

During testing of the drug in these embodiments, the concentration efficiency was about 86%. The decrease as well as increase in concentration led to increase the efficiency of processing.

The drug was prepared as follows: take g/l of syrup:

Nystatin 1,0

Thymol 0,25

ATOX 2,00

Furatsilin 0,25

only 3.5

To determine the optimal parameters have been experiments with other values of components:

Nystatin 0,50

Thymol 0,125

ATOX 1,00

Furatsilin 0,125

just 1,75

Nystatin 1,50

Thymol 0,5

ATOX 4,00

Furatsilin 0,50

just 7,0

The specified ratio of the components in the product gave a lower efficiency (these values outside of the claims). This is confirmed by tables 1 and 2.

For the distribution activity of the drug is used in its aqueous solution. The study was performed in laboratory conditions by the method of disks.

The solution and the spore suspension with a density of 200 thousand in 1 ml (0.02 ml) was applied using a pipette (0,02 ml) on the disks in sterile Petri dishes. Thus determined optimum amount of the drug. As control was used infected disks without the drug. These Petri dishes were incubated in a thermostat at a temperature of 30°within 10 days, considering the growth of the mycelium of the pathogen ascosphaerosis bees. Assessment of the fungistatic activity of the preparation was performed according to the magnitude of the diameter of colonies of the fungus in the experiment compared with the control. The results are presented in table 1.

Table 1
Concentration The diameter of colonies of A.] pis (mm) M±m
preparation, g/l 3 day 5 day day 7 10 days
7,0 11,0±1,7 15,3±1,2 19,7±0,9 25,7±1,8
3,5 6,3±1,5 8,7±0,9 10,0±1,2 12,7±0,9
1,75 20,7±1,2 27,0±1,5 37,3±1,9 46,3±1,2

Control 22,3±1,5 49,7±1,8 69,0±1,5 88,0±1,3
Where, M is an average value, a m - the standard deviation.

As can be seen from the table, the test substance has a high fungicidal activity (at a concentration of 3.5 g/l). Using the drug in a larger (7.0) and lower (1,75) g/l concentration of activity is greatly reduced.

Production experiments were performed on disadvantaged by ascosphaerosis the apiary. In the first series of experiments were formed two groups of bee colonies families 30 families in each. This took into account the strength of families, the number of brood and the degree of its destruction. The experimental group drug fed with sugar syrup recommended dose, and control received normal sugar syrup. Processing was performed twice with an interval of seven days. About the effectiveness of the drug was tried on the infestation of brood before and after the experiment. For laboratory studies of both groups were taken a few larvae in the presence of the fungus Ascosphaera apis in the brood. The obtained data are presented in table 2.

From the table it follows that the use of the drug gives a high therapeutic effect.

In the second series of experiments conducted in the apiary were formed five groups of 10 families each. Families were subjected to treatments each ingredient separately. It turned out that on the 21 day experience nystatin dose of 1,000,000 Units (1 g) per litre of sugar syrup has reduced the number of infected larvae of 35.2%, thymol dose of 0.25 g/l to 19.3%, furatsilin dose of 0.25 g - 26,2% and ATOX at a dose of 2.0 g per liter of 5.3 per cent. Minimal in our experiments the dose (1,74 g/liter) reduced the extensive destruction of brood by 40%, and the maximum (7.0 g/l) - by 46.7%.

Attached a second version of the table 2, which includes the results of processing beyond what values of ingredients. The efficiency of 40.0 and 46.7%, i.e. the effectiveness of the optimal dose of 86% is the maximum.

Table 2

Net control 2,3 1,9 of 17.0 1,7 26 1,7 26,0

From the data presented in the table shows that the highest therapeutic effect obtained in pruppacher, treated with the drug at the optimal dose of 3.5 g/l sugar syrup 1:1 and was 86,0%. Decrease dose by half to 1.75 g/l (minimum dose) reduced the effectiveness of treatments by 46%. Increasing doses of the drug to 7.0 g/l (maximum dose) did not cause an anticipated increase in efficiency and it was 46.7%, due to poor palatability bees curative syrup.

The applied drug is the most easy to use, environmentally friendly and effective. The drug has a complex effect reduces the pathogenic effect of the fungus on the body of the bees. Not toxic. Can be used every beekeeper.
