The invention relates to the construction, in particular the design of the reservoir of large capacity for storage of petroleum products floating roof.

Known storage tanks for petroleum products, including wall and the bottom rigidly interconnected by means of a welding seam [1].

The disadvantages of the known reservoirs are:

- the presence of high meridional stresses in the wall due to the inability of radial displacements of the wall in the coupling zone of the latter with the bottom, causing the need to increase the wall thickness and certain difficulties in the practical use of the progressive method of rolling in the construction of the reservoir;

- the presence of overvoltage cylindrical wall due to non-uniform sediment soil Foundation.

The closest technical solution is the storage tank for petroleum products, including wall and bottom, paired together with the compensation element made in the form placed outside the toroidal shell open cross section, one longitudinal edge of which is attached to the wall, and the other to the bottom [2].

The disadvantages of this solution are:

- high potential ascent of the wall with the subsequent destruction of the toroidal element due to exceeding the lifting force in the toroidal element from Tolba petroleum products in relation to the own weight of the tank;

- need to increase the wall thickness of the toroidal element to eliminate its destruction, with the specified element with the increased thickness will not allow the wall to "breathe", that is, to move in the radial direction when uploading;

simultaneously toroidal element and fragile zone of its junction with the wall and bottom can easily be destroyed by non-uniform sediment soil Foundation, which dramatically reduces the overall operational reliability of the considered object.

The objective of the invention is the reduction of the meridional stresses in the vessel wall of large capacity for storage of petroleum products, reducing its thickness and increasing the operational reliability of the tank.

The objective of the invention is achieved in that in a tank of large capacity for storage of petroleum products, including wall and a bottom interconnected by means of a compensation element, which is in the form of a concave corrugated annular element and parallel to the wall is completely sealed the partition is established in the form of vertical ribs to form between her and the wall of the annular gap with a width equal to its height, which is filled with oil-resistant elastic rubber seal, with the cavity between the concave corrugated annular element, the wall of the bottom is filled with degassed incompressible non-freezing liquid.
