The invention relates to woodworking industry and can be used on wood processing enterprises for briquetting of wood waste. Known press for briquetting of wood waste, comprising a housing consisting of a reception area, areas of compression moldable mass, forming briquettes, shutter speed, installed in the housing of the drive of the pressing screw with the forming protrusion heater. Pressing the screw is made hollow with a Central channel. The case is made with a capillary slit-like channels, which are oriented parallel to the axis of the press.
