SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and is meant for increasing germination energy, germination capacity and speeding up ripening of crops, as well as widening the range of agents for this purpose. Crop seeds are treated with 0.001% aqueous solution of copper (II) dihydrate tetraaqua-bismalondiamide for 2 hours. The described agent is used for treatment in amount of 1 litre per 1 kg of seeds.

EFFECT: use of the agent increases germination energy and germination capacity of seeds and accelerates ripening of crops.
