The method of stabilising copper (II) hydroxide involves successive stages for combining copper (II) hydroxide, water soluble orthophosphate and water to obtain a mixture and drying the said mixture. Stabilised copper (II) hydroxide obtained using the said method is proposed, as well as a composition which contains stabilised copper (II) hydroxide and at least one of the following components: a surfactant, a solid or liquid diluent.
