(57) Abstract:

Usage: shipbuilding, surfing with the fin. The essence of the invention: surfing, equipped posted on its bottom aft fin having a symmetrical profile shape cross-section and arbitrary shape in plan, in its body behind the fin, at distances not exceeding 1/2 of the length of the root chord of the fin is made through the vent, and the profile of the fin in cross section has a sharp front edge and a blunt trailing edge, with the greatest thickness profile of the fin is located at a distance of 0.5-1.0 length of a chord corresponding section. The use of the invention increases the stability of the motion of the surf at high speed in terms of excitement. 3 Il.

The invention relates to the field of shipbuilding and relates to the design serpengo equipped with fins.

Special attention when creating serpengo on the issue of designing their fins, since in practice the problem arises simultaneously meet the requirements of hydrodynamics and strength. This problem is especially acute when designing fins serpengo who I am. The movement of the surf in these conditions is accompanied by its separation from the water surface, which leads to partial or complete exposure of the fin and high shock loads on it when entering the water.

Famous surfing equipped with fins having a different shape in plan and profile for such a fin is used, as a rule, the standard symmetric aviation profiles with rounded front and a sharp trailing edge (see FUN & FUNCTION MAGAZIN, N1-4, 1992)
Also known surfing fin high efficiency, which is achieved through two wings, located at the bottom edge of the fin (PCT 85/03237, A 63 C 15/05, see IMS, 1986, N3, S. 10). These wings achieved an increase in lateral forces on the fin when the motion with drift (slide) prototype.

Profiles of famous fins serpengo, providing a wide range of angles shockless flow and having a relatively low profile resistance, do not possess sufficient strength for slalom driving. So for slalom profiles are used with large relative thicknesses ( = C/b of 0.1). But these profiles lead to the early development of cavitation, which is highly undesirable.

WPI is the rate on the surface of the water, and on a rampage. When excited, when the fin is close to the free surface of water or crosses it, may be a breakthrough of atmospheric air on the suction surface of the fin. This phenomenon leads to abrupt change sign and magnitude of the lateral hydrodynamic forces on the fin. This effect is the stronger, the higher the relative thickness of the profile. The change of sign of the force on the fin results in the loss of stability of surfing and its overturning.

The task of the invention is to improve the sustainability and stability of the motion of the surf at high running speed and under conditions of agitation on the surface of the waters by improving hydrodynamic and structural characteristics of its fin.

For this purpose, a famous surfing destination, equipped with a fin placed at the rear of the bottom body surfing, having a symmetrical profile shape in cross-section and arbitrary shape in plan, the body surfing behind the fin, at a distance not exceeding half the length of the root chord of the fin is made through the vent, while the profile of the fin in cross section has a sharp front and a blunt trailing edge. And the greatest profile thickness raspologeniya for fin due to the presence of a blunt trailing edge, the cavity is vented to atmospheric air, and as a result is achieved by the proximity of the values of the coefficients of the profile drag of the proposed profile and standard povnooblenergo profile and the stability of ventilation cavity by atmospheric air, with full samewe aft bilge surfing, is provided with a ventilation hole in the housing. Large cross section profile with a blunt trailing edge, compared with the same thickness and the chord plasmaoptical profile provides improved strength characteristics of the fin.

The profile of the fin is made with a tapering in the direction of the leading edge having a sharp leading edge and the location of the maximum thickness of the profile at a distance of 0.5-1.0 chord from the nose improves the cavitation characteristics, provides the distance of the development of steam cavern and the separation of flow and, consequently, decrease the resistance profile.

The invention is illustrated by drawings, where Fig. 1 shows surfing with the fin of Fig.2 - profile of the fin, and Fig.3 - comparative graphs of the dependence of the hydrodynamic side force Z, acting on n the th profile curve (2).

At the bottom of the case 1 surf (Fig. 1) in the aft installed the fin 2, followed at a distance not exceeding 1/2 of the length of the root chord of the fin, in the case of surfing is made through the vent 3.

The symmetric profile of the fin cross-sectional with tapering toward the front edge has a sharp front edge 4 and a blunt rear edge 5 (Fig. 2). The maximum thickness of the profile is located at a distance equal to 0.5 and 1.0 times the chord length of the profile from the front edge 4.

The motion of the surf in conditions of unrest, when the fin intersects the free surface or breakout occurs atmospheric air on the suction surface, the proposed shaping of the fin reduces lateral hydrodynamic forces on the profile without changing its sign (see Fig. 3).

The aggregated results of the calculated and experimental studies are given in the form of curves of the lateral hydrodynamic force Z, acting on the fin when the movement surfing with the angle of drift , clearly show that surfing on the proposed technical solution abrupt change in sign of the lateral force does not occur (curve 2), in contrast to PLA the Ktsia surfing and fin allows you to increase the strength and stability of surfing with high speed and under conditions of agitation, and to provide the necessary strength characteristics of the fin.

Surfing, equipped posted on its bottom aft fin having a symmetrical profile shape cross-section and arbitrary shape, characterized in that in the case of surfing, fin, at a distance not exceeding 1/2 of the length of the root chord of the fin is made through the vent, and the profile of the fin in cross section has a sharp front edge and a blunt trailing edge, with the greatest thickness profile of the fin is from its leading edge at a distance equal to 0,5 1,0 chord length of the corresponding section.
