Polystryrene paint composition
SUBSTANCE: polystyrene paint composition contains the following, wt %: film-forming agent - polystyrene or derivatives thereof 1-9, pigments 1-20, colloxylin 5-15, alkyd resins 10-15, plasticiser 1-15 and solvents - the balance.
EFFECT: obtaining coatings which provide high degree of protection from corrosion of components and surfaces in conditions of atmospheric exposure or exposure to a liquid or moist environment.
The invention relates to the field of production of paintwork materials, in particular based paints polystyrene film-forming, and can be used to protect metal, concrete and wood surfaces from corrosion in various industries.
Known composition to obtain paint materials based on polystyrene, which contains a plasticizer and modifier in the form of an oligomer of styrene in amounts of 5-30 wt.%, the pigments.

The disadvantage of this structure are low hardness and, consequently, low protective properties.
Known composition of polystyrene paint, including film-forming - polystyrene, solvent dyes, pigments and the modifier, which is used as a 4%aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol with the content of 12-14% of the acetate groups.

The presence of a known composition of the modifier in the form of a 4%aqueous solution of polyvinyl alcohol content 12-12% acetate groups leads to the fact that the coatings produced from the use of such a composition, when exposed to light, heat, oxygen lose solidity. In the depending on the ambient humidity coatings behave as follows: under conditions of low humidity become hard, and in a humid environment soften and thereby lose their protective properties.
A disadvantage of known composition are low mechanical and protective properties that limit its use for parts and surfaces, operating in conditions of high humidity and low temperatures.
The closest in technical essence and the achieved effect and selected as a prototype is the composition of polystyrene paint, including film-forming - polystyrene, solvent, pigment, plasticizer, alkyd resins, collection in the form of a solution of nitrocellulose.

The disadvantage of this composition is the following: if one applied on the surface of the coating is insufficient to hide possible defects of the coated surface and to obtain the required degree of protection. But when the second and subsequent application due to the increased viscosity caused by high content of polystyrene, formed the deformation (warping), which degrades the characteristics of the coating. This disadvantage can be avoided by reducing the content of polystyrene in the composition up to 9.0%. Also, this composition has poor adhesion. This parameter can be improved by increasing the content of alkyd resins up to 15.0%.
Tacacardiageneric of the invention is to obtain a paint composition, to ensure corrosion protection of parts and surfaces exposed to atmospheric exposure and effects of a liquid medium, while the ease of obtaining a composition.
The technical result that allows to solve this problem is to increase the strength of the coating of parts and surfaces by simultaneous use in one part of collocalia and polystyrene or its derivatives in an optimal ratio of components.
This object is achieved in that the composition of polystyrene paint, including film-forming - polystyrene or its derivatives, solvents, pigments, plasticizers, alkyd resins, collection, according to the invention the components are taken in the following ratio, wt.%:

Conducted investigated the I patent and scientific and technical information sources testify, the proposed composition of polystyrene paint is not known and should not be explicitly studied the prior art, i.e., meets the criterion of "novelty" and "inventive step".
The proposed composition of polystyrene paint can be prepared in any enterprise, specializing in this industry, because it requires known materials and standard equipment, widely produced by domestic and foreign industry.
Thus, the claimed composition polystyrene paint meets the criterion of "industrial applicability".
In the proposed structure in comparison with the known can result in atmosferoustojchivosti, moisture resistance and, therefore, are improved protective properties of the paint as a whole.
The use of alkyd resins in the proposed structure allows to increase the hardness of the coating and therefore to improve the corrosion protection of parts, the surfaces of which are treated in this part.
The introduction of the plasticizer in the composition of the paint to an even greater extent, help to improve the elasticity of the coating and increase corrosion protection.
Mix in one part paint collocalia and polystyrene or its derivatives is based on the fact that they dissolve in the same solvent, but a hee is practical level collection and polystyrene do not interact.
Preparation of composition - composition of polystyrene paint can be the following: in a container of solvent according to the recipe add collection, polystyrene and its derivatives, alkyd resin, plasticizer, pigments. All are thoroughly mixed until a homogeneous mass.
As alkyd resins can use the resin 188 (solution in organic solvents glyptal resin, modified vegetable oils or vegetable oils and synthetic fatty acids and resin 130 (solution in organic solvents glycerol polyester of phthalic acid modified synthetic fatty acids fractions With10-C13or10-C16; as a derivative of polystyrene can use the PVA polystyrene (polystyrene foam suspension); as pigments can use titanium dioxide, chromium oxide, red iron oxide, Prussian blue and other components, making it possible to obtain a wide color range of paints. Solvents - volatile part (the rest up to 100%) is a mixture of organic solvents of the following composition: butyl acetate, ethyl acetate, ethyl alcohol, butyl alcohol or n-butanol, toluene or xylene.

As a plasticizer take in both examples, chloroparaffin CP-470, alkyd resin - resin 188.
Due to the increase in the composition of the mass fraction of polystyrene relative to kolloksilina increase the dielectric properties of the composition, while increasing the mass fraction of collocalia relative to polystyrene reach increase coating hardness.
Experimental is but installed by the applicant, that application claimed their composition allows to obtain a coating that provides a high degree of protection against corrosion of parts and surfaces, under conditions of atmospheric exposure or exposure to liquid medium.

SUBSTANCE: electrical steel coating method using lacquer composition for charged core involves application at least of one coating layer of lacquer composition and curing of the applied layer. Lacquer composition for charged core contains 5-95 wt % at least of one alkyd resin with OH nucleophilic groups, 0-70 wt % at least of one polyamid resin containing groups of amide of α-carboxy-β-oxocycloalkylcarboxylic acid, and 5-95 wt % at leas of one organic solvent and/or water. Weight fraction in percents is calculated relative to total weight of the coating composition.
EFFECT: method ensures excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance of coatings, as well as compliance with high-profile standards in combination with various technical requirements.

SUBSTANCE: composition for fixing wrapping articles contains A) 1-60 wt % of at lest one resin of α,β-unsaturated polyether based on at least one unsaturated mono-, di- or tricarboxylic acid and/or substance containing molecules with mono-, di- or tricarboxylic acid groups, at least one polyol, B) 0.1-80 wt % of at least one inorganic and/or an organic-inorganic hybrid component, having functional groups for reaction with components A) and C), where said hybrid components are polymers or colloidal solutions based on silicon, titanium or zirconium and oxygen atoms, which contain hydroxyl and/or alkoxy groups and/or hydroxyalkyloxy groups and/or organic fragments, which have epoxy and/or isocyanate and/or unsaturated groups, C) 2-80 wt % of at least one monomer and/or oligomeric unsaturated component, which is styrene, vinyl toluene, hexanediol dimethacrylate, butanediol dimethacrylate and/or (meth)acrylates of products of a polyaddition reaction of ethylene oxide with trimethylolpropane capable of reaction with components A and B, and D) 0-15 wt % conventional additives, where wt % is calculated relative the total weight of the composition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to curing agents for air-drying alkyd-based resins, coating compositions, such as paint, varnish, wood stain, inks and linoleum floor coverings. Described is a curable liquid medium containing a) from 1 to 90 wt % of an alkyd-based resin and b) from 0.0001 to 0.1 wt % of a siccative in form of an iron or manganese complex with a tetradentate, pentadentate or hexadentate nitrogen donor ligand.
EFFECT: said siccative has high activity and enables hardening of compositions at relatively low concentration in a curable liquid medium.

SUBSTANCE: binding consists of cross-linking agent and branched poly-ether with partially remote functional groups with acidic functional groups. Said branched poly-ether consists of at least one multi-functional component, of at least one di-functional component reaction capable relative to a functional group of multi-functional component and at least one mono-functional component containing fat acid. Temperature of poly-ether vitrification is 40°C or more.
EFFECT: production of binding applicable for compositions of powder coating where binding improves corrosion resistance.

SUBSTANCE: composition contains the following in wt %: 16-23 film-forming agent; 38-40 mixed pigments; 2.0-3.0 organic complexing agent - tanning and derivatives thereof; 1.0-2.0 inorganic filler - talc; 3.0-4.0 mixture of C2-C4 alcohols and an organic solvent - the rest. The film-forming agent is 12-15 wt % alkyd varnish and additional 4-8 wt % synthetic chlorinated rubber. The mixed pigments are in form of a mixture of zinc oxide, zinc powder and micaceous iron. The mixture of alcohols contains ethyl alcohol, butyl alcohol and isobutyl alcohol in ratio 1.0:1.0:1.4. The invention enables to obtain compositions with service life of coatings of at least 10-15 years.
EFFECT: coatings have good impact properties and high rate of drying, priming composition does not require surface mechanical pre-treatment in order to remove scales and rust.

SUBSTANCE: composition contains the following, wt %: alkyde primer 90-98, organosilicon amide of perfluorocarboxylic acid of formula C3F7OCF(CF3)CF2OCF(CF3)CONH(CH2)3Si(OC2H5)3 1-5 and 1-5 product of reaction of boric acid, diethanolamine and fatty acid of plant oil. The fatty acid of plant oil is selected from oleic acid, linoleic acid and linolenic acid, in molar ratio of 1:4:2, respectively.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain anticorrosion coatings with good physical-mechanical and water-, oil- and gasoline-resistant properties.

SUBSTANCE: invention is used in shipbuilding, construction works in shafts, for repair works on metallurgical factories, for painting concrete and plastered structures, for painting metal structures, wooden structures and slate roofing. The paint contains components in the following ratio in wt %: film-forming agent 50-90, titanium dioxide and/or chalk 0.1-32.0, cement and/or cement dust 0.1-30.0, siccative 0.5-5.0, microtalc and/or micromica or sand and/or lime or lime milk and/or flue ash and/or microcalcium and/or sulphanol and/or iron oxide - the rest. The film-forming agent contains components in the following ratio in wt %: pentaphthalate and/or glyphtal lacquer or mixture thereof with nitrocellulose and/or perchlorovinyl and/or ethylcellulose and/or coal-tar varnish 1-55.0, drying oil or masut or bitumen 1-45.0, bustilat and/or liquid glass 1-10.0, water and/or nefras and/or solvent and/or benzine and/or solvents 647, 646, 650, 651 3-20.0, sulphanol or butyldiglycol - the rest.
EFFECT: paint film has good adhesion to surfaces, coating does not crack during bending and sharp change in temperature, paint film has high resistance to water, acid, alkali, benzene, the paint can be applied on a rusty, oily or wet surface, does not form a dried up film during storage and is environmentally safe.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of surface coating solutions which contain boehmite. The surface coating solution is a latex paint and contains a trituration solution, a polymer emulsion and a solvent. The trituration solution is prepared using an active solution which contains a base in form of an aqueous solution and boehmite particles contained in the base. The boehmite particles are anisotropic moulded particles having mould ratio of 3:1 and are activated by substances selected from a group which includes ammonium hydroxide, alkali- or alkali-earth metal salt, nanoclay or colloidal silica. The surface coating solution has surface spreading and distribution with formation of a uniform film of at least 6 mil, and sag resistance of over 7 mil or surface spreading and distribution with formation of a uniform film of over 6 mil, and sag resistance of at least 7 mil. Described also is a method of preparing the surface coating solution involving the following operations: activation of boehmite particles with substances selected from a group which includes ammonium hydroxide, alkali- or alkali-earth metal salt, nanoclay or colloidal silica in order to form a water-based active solution; preparation of a trituration solution using the active solution; and preparation of a surface coating solution using the trituration solution, polymer emulsion and solvent.
EFFECT: solution enables to obtain coating with good technical properties.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a coating compositions. The coating composition contains a thermally crosslinking film-forming resin binder or resin binders, a polymer or copolymer levelling agent having molecular weight between 1000 and 100000 g/mol (Da). The polymer or copolymer levelling agent is obtained through polymerisation in the presence of an alkoxyamine initiator/regulating compound or monomer. The monomer is selected from a group of acrylate or methacrylate compounds. The said copolymer levelling agent is obtained from a composition which contains an ethylene-unsaturated monomer. The polymer levelling agent used is poly-tert-butyl acrylate or poly-tert-butyl methacrylate. The coating is obtained by depositing the composition onto a substrate and applying heat energy or electromagnetic radiation.
EFFECT: use of the said polymer or copolymer as a levelling agent in coating compositions enables to obtain smooth coating for surfaces.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paint materials, particularly to a paint composition used for protective-decorative coating metal surfaces. The protective-decorative paint contains 21-45 wt % alkyd resin based film forming agent, 35-55 wt % specularite with high content of Fe2O3 and particle size less than 30 mcm as pigment, 0.5-1.5 wt % drying accelerator, 1-2 wt % rheological additive, 4-12 wt % filler and organic solvent - the rest. The protective-decorative paint preferably contains film-forming agent in form of modified alkyd film-forming agent, and the rheological additive in form of a surfactant based on TROYSOL fatty amine. The protective-decorative paint also contains a colouring pigment in amount of 0.5-4.5 wt %.
EFFECT: disclosed paint enables to obtain a coating with good protective properties: abrasive wear resistance, corrosion resistance and good decorative effect owing to obtaining a coarse finish with metallic lustre.

SUBSTANCE: composition for finishing of concrete and plastered surfaces contains polystyrene in amount of 2.25-3.2 wt %, solvent in amount of 16-23.55 wt %, 22.81-25 wt % of chalk, as filler it contains mixture of sand and clay - colour sand in amount of 48.24-58 wt %, as surfactant it contains additive OP-4 in amount of 0.08-0.1 wt % and 0.37-0.4 wt % of disperser additive TELAZ.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paints based on polystyrene film-formers, which are used to protect metallic, concrete, ceramic, wood, and asbestos-cement surfaces against atmospheric corrosion in various industrial fields. Process comprises dissolution of polystyrene in solvent followed by stirring it with fillers and pigments while simultaneously affecting it by ultrasonic oscillations with frequency 150-250 kHz.
EFFECT: reduced polystyrene dissolution time, improved spreading capacity, increased (thrice) strength of film, and enhanced (twice) waterproofness.
SUBSTANCE: composition contains 55.5-86.2 pts.wt aqueous dispersion of a copolymer with particle size of not more 0.1 mcm, containing 35.5-38.0 wt % butyl acrylate, 16.5-18.0 wt % 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 10.0-11.0 wt % methyl methacrylate, 13.5-15.0 wt % styrene, 14.0-15.0 wt % α-methyl styrene, 5.0-5.5 wt % methacrylic acid, and 13.8-44.5 pts.wt aqueous solution of isopropyl alcohol mixed with water in ratio 1:1-3:1. The aqueous acrylic dispersion can additionally contain triallyl isocyanurate and/or vinyl triethoxy silane. The primer composition can additionally contain a wetting agent, an antifoaming agent, complexing agents, adhesive and biocidal additives.
EFFECT: improved continuity and adhesion strength of a polymer coating on aluminium foil, which ensures strong adhesion of printing ink on foil.
