FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paint materials, particularly to a paint composition used for protective-decorative coating metal surfaces. The protective-decorative paint contains 21-45 wt % alkyd resin based film forming agent, 35-55 wt % specularite with high content of Fe2O3 and particle size less than 30 mcm as pigment, 0.5-1.5 wt % drying accelerator, 1-2 wt % rheological additive, 4-12 wt % filler and organic solvent - the rest. The protective-decorative paint preferably contains film-forming agent in form of modified alkyd film-forming agent, and the rheological additive in form of a surfactant based on TROYSOL fatty amine. The protective-decorative paint also contains a colouring pigment in amount of 0.5-4.5 wt %.

EFFECT: disclosed paint enables to obtain a coating with good protective properties: abrasive wear resistance, corrosion resistance and good decorative effect owing to obtaining a coarse finish with metallic lustre.

The invention relates to paints, varnishes and lacquers, in particular to the colors used for protective and decorative coatings for metal surfaces for interior and exterior finishes, working in the conditions of abrasive wear, operating in harsh environments and weather conditions in different climatic zones.

Known enamel containing film-forming component (A-15-0) - 15% of partially saponified copolymer of vinyl chloride with vinyl acetate in a mixture of organic solvents consisting of butyl acetate, acetone and toluene at a ratio of 1:2:5, specify pigment containing, in wt.% titanium dioxide 9,10-10.30 a.m., yellow iron oxide pigment 1,10-8,8,90, red iron oxide pigment 0,10-0,30 and carbon - rest, a filler in the form of a mixture of micro-talc and Aerosil wt.% 90,0-92,0 and 8,00-10,00 respectively, in the following ratio, wt.%: film-forming component 79,60-87,00; mixed pigment 10,50-18,00; fillers 2,40-2,50 (Patent RU № 2238288, class 09D 127/06, 5/08. However, this enamel is designed to protect only the pre-primed surface has a composition of a pigment, provides insufficient protective and decorative properties, has a long drying time, low durability, contain expensive components.

Closest to the proposed invention is a protective and decorative paint, including film-forming alkyd resin, a pigment, a drying accelerator and an organic solvent, which contains as a pigment white pigment is titanium dioxide and color pigment powder mineral volkonskoit in the following ratio, wt.%:

However, this protective and decorative paint contains expensive, rare mineral volkonskoit with grass-green color, which limits its decorative possibilities, significant drying time, provides insufficient corrosion protection and mechanical properties, particularly abrasion resistance.

The technical result of the invention is to obtain a composition satisfying the following requirements:

- significant increase in abrazivostruynoy, anti-corrosion and protective and decorative properties;

- improve the decorative effect, obtaining different degrees of surface roughness with a metallic sheen with a slight drying time.

This technical result is achieved in that a protective and decorative paint, including film-forming alkyd resin, Osment, accelerator drying, the organic solvent further comprises a rheological additive, filler, and pigment - specularite with a high content of Fe2O3and a particle size of not less than 30 μm, in the following ratio, wt.%:

Protective and decorative paint as a coating agent preferably may contain modified alkyd film. Protective and decorative paint as a rheological additive preferably may contain an additive, representing a surfactant based on fatty amine, for example, the brand TROYSOL.

C) alkyd-urethane resin grade "Arundina Ophtal-55" TU 2311-030-72311668-2006, representing a solution pentaftalevyh resin in white spirit, modified fatty acids of tall oil and a diisocyanate containing 49±2% mass fraction of non-volatiles;

g) alkyd-styrene lacquer MS-25 (TU 6-10-1403-78), representing a solution in xylene or a mixture of xylene with turpentine alkyd resin, modified styrene and a mixture of drying or semidrying Tung oil.

As a rheological additive can be used, for example, the surface of the but-active agent based on fatty amine brand TROYSOL, TELA-15 TO-061-27991970-04, the company "AutoConvert"representing aminoamide fatty acids in the solvent mass fraction of non-volatiles: 50% (±2).

As a drying accelerator is used, for example:

a) desiccant "rainbow" - 3.1 on THE 2311-001-59344679-04 with a mass fraction of metals: Pb 13,0-17,0%, Zn 2.5-6.5%, Co 0,8-1,2%;

C) desiccant brand Octagon 1,2,3 (With 0,5; 1,0 MP; Zn 2,0) THE 2311-001-79229214-2007 and others.

As the coloring pigment may be used a metallic pigment, for example, bronze powder brand MIC (TU 48-21-721-84) or organic dye, for example, blue ftalotsianinaty (15:3) THE 2463-014-40476089-2001, scarlet (THE 6-14-318-84) and others. The number of additional pigment depends on the desired color of paint. Thus, it is possible to prepare the paint, which color will match the entire palette of colors.

The essence of the invention lies in the fact that the proposed combination of components with specularite with a particle size of not less than 30 μm as a percentage provide reliable protective properties: abrasion resistance, stand is here to corrosion and improve the decorative effect due to a rough surface with metallic luster. The degree of surface roughness is determined by the particle size of specularite.

Coating color can be changed to any other by additionally introducing metallic pigments or organic dyes, with roughness and angular metallic luster of coating remains.

Thus, the proposed protective and decorative paint comprising a film-forming alkyd resin drying accelerator, an organic solvent, rheological additives, fillers, specularite with a particle size of not less than 30 μm, the proposed percentage of components, which established empirically, in combination provides a synergistic effect, manifested in enhancement decoration, quantitative indicators of protective properties, reducing drying time at low cost in comparison with the prototype.

The optimal particle size of specularite to achieve an enhanced decorative effect is 200 μm.

The invention is illustrated in the examples in table 1. The drying time of the composition to the extent of 3 at a temperature of (20±2)°C not more than 45-60 min and at a temperature of (80±5)°C not more than 10 minutes drying Time is determined according to GOST 19007.

The test results of the composition are shown in table 2. These tables show that the proposed paint exceeds the prototype for the drying time, abrazivostruynoy, anti-corrosion properties, especially to the effects of salt fog.

Higher decorative and protective properties of the proposed paint can also be used in atmospheric and aggressive conditions in areas with temperate and cold-temperate climate.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents for protection against algae fouling of bottoms of ships and hydraulic structures, and specifically to antifouling enamel. When realising the method, benzene sulphonic acid, cyclohexanone, a mixture of salicylic acid and salicylic acid anilide and acetone in ratio of 0.9-0.3:3.2-2.6:2.1-1.5:10.6-9.0 wt % are mixed at 18-22°C for not less than 1 hour. EFFECT: slower leaching of copper oxide and reduction of its consumption, as well as increased elasticity of the coating.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed here invention refers to procedure of metal surface coating. According to the procedure there is coated metal surface of substrate at least partially made out of steel. Also in the procedure there is used a substance corresponding to a varnish which forms a layer preventing scale build-up. The substance is applied on surface, dried and thermally hardened, whereupon substrate with coated surface is subjected to thermal treatment at pressure. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to preparation of coating compositions and can be used in interior finishing and facing paint coatings for wooden and metallic substrates. The coating composition, which is diluted with a solvent, contains alkyd resin having at least 20 wt % vinyl composite blocks and is characterised by fat content less than 65%. Mass ratio of non-vinyl to vinyl groups lies between 1:1 and 4:1. Vinyl groups contains styrene and/or (meth)acrylate groups. The ratio of styrene to (meth)acrylate groups ranges from 0.5:1 to 4:1. Vinyl groups have low polarity. Mw is less than 10000. Fat content is greater than 45%. The alkyd resin in accordance with this invention provides a coating consisting of a composition resulting from a solvent containing less than 300 g/l volatile organic substances.

EFFECT: composition has good rheological properties, required viscosity with low solvent content and short drying period, good strength and longevity.

EFFECT: proposed composition has good anticorrosion properties, abrasive wear resistance, high durability, is capable of dissolving rust without thorough preparation of the metal surface.

SUBSTANCE: group of invention relates to production of paint and varnish compositions such as enamel, and specifically to production of alkyd-urethane enamel with different colour spectrum, which can be used for protective-decorative coating various types of surfaces. The paint and varnish alkyd-urethane enamel composition contains a combination of at least one alkyd varnish and at least one alkyd-urethane varnish, a pigment component, which is necessary for forming the colour of the enamel, at least one organic solvent, a dispersing agent, a drier and other auxiliary target additives, including at least one rheological additive, anti-film additive, anti-crater additive. The method of producing alkyd-urethane enamel with different colours involves the following stages: possible preparation of separate liquid and granular components, and their batching in accordance with the formulation and consumption rates for the produced amount of enamel, preparation of intermediate products, two-step dispersion, setting "type", step-by-step control. Manufacturing complex for producing alkyd-urethane enamel in form of suspension, containing colouring pigments in a mixture of organic varnish, solvent, lapping compound and target additives, consists of posts which form a hydraulic system fitted with process pipe-lines, where posts are linked with each other according to operations producing the said suspensions and include a post for storing initial dry and liquid components, a post for batching and weighing said components, a post for mixing the components, a dispersing post, a post for setting "type" of the enamel and a post for packing final enamel product.

EFFECT: obtaining alkyd-urethane enamel with good physical and chemical characteristics, which does not flake during storage and does not form surface film and residue.

SUBSTANCE: preheated oil from a reservoir 9 is loaded into reactor 5 with an agitator 2 and reactor heating thereafter enabled. Dissolved white resin is loaded. Method of alkyd varnish production involves alcoholytic re-etherification of vegetable oil by pentaerythritol with heating in inert gas flow in the presence of catalyst, followed by polyetherification of re-etherification products by phthalic anhydride with heating, water distillation with azeotropic solvent, reaction product - alkyd resin - cooling to 160-180°C, varnish preparation by mixing obtained resin with organic solvent. Re-etherification and polyetherification process is performed in reactor featuring electric induction heating system and connected to technological pipelines with stop valves. Reactor has at least one pipe socket with heat-resistant gate installed in it, and at least two water heat exchangers in the form of worm pipes, mixer, nozzle column, vertical cooler, condenser and separation vessel. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paint-and-varnish industry, in particular to method for production of alkyd-urethane enamels of various colours, and may be used to produce protective-decorating enamel coatings applied onto various substrates. Method for production of alkyd-urethane enamel is described. This method implies preparation of individual precursor components, their dosing, preparation of intermediate enamel product by combining alkyd pentaphthalic lacquer with dispersing medium, organic solvent and rheological agent, the mixture being stirred at 300-500 rpm, followed by introduction of free-flowing pigments into the mixture, together with filler, when required. Pigments and filler are pre-dispersed under stirring at a speed up to 1000 rpm until homogenous suspension is obtained. Then intermediate product is further dispersed until required degree of grinding is obtained, alkyd-urethane lacquer is added under stirring and, when required, anti-crater additive and paint dryer are added. Then, pigment tinting paste is added, the mixture is stirred to obtain homogenous suspension, and antiskinning agent is added.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the pigmental paste for paint toning. The pigmental paste for toning the covering composition is described, where the pigmental paste includes: at least one ramified alkide with the viscosity less than 5 Pa·s at 23°C and shift rate 100 c-1 and the number-average molecular weight Mn>1500, which contains the groups for the oxidising drying produced from the fatty acids; one or several solvents without aromatic substances - 28 mass percent; and one or several pigments. At that, the rate of alkide ramification is at least 0/35 and preferably less than 0.42, alkide fatness is at least 76 and preferably less than 84, the alkide acidity index is within 6 to 9 mg KOH/g; the solvent without the aromatic substances contains the aliphatic hydrocarbon solvents, ketones and/or complex ethers with molecular weight Mn>1500. The method for paint toning is described where the principal paint is selected from the set of principal paints and then mixed with the said pigmental paint, at that, the principal paint corresponds to the composition based on solvent and containing alkide.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to coloring pastes designated for using in ready basic pant and varnish materials that are soluble in organic solvents. Universal pigment coloring paste comprises pigment, film-forming agent, disperser, thickening agent and organic solvent. Alkyd glyphtal resin based on flax oil, glycerol and phthalic anhydride is used as a filling agent taken in the ratio, wt.-%: 45-47; 17-19 and 34-38, respectively, with viscosity index 60 measured at temperature 20.0 ± 0.5°C by viscosimeter device VZ-246 as 50% resin solution in xylene and having acid number 17-19 mg of KOH/g taken in the amount 30-40 wt.-%. Thickening agent Clayton AF is used a thickening agent taken in the amount 0.3-0.5 wt.-%. Xylene is used as an organic solvent taken in the amount 34-45 wt.-%. Disperser is used in the amount 0.9-2 wt.-%, and pigment, the balance. Invention provides expanding assortment of coloring pigment pastas, their using in different basis of dyes in organic solvents, providing stability of dyes and without unfavorable effect of properties of paint and varnish covers.
