The compound for paint and varnish materials include film-forming on the basis of polystyrene, plasticizers and pigments. At the same time as plasticizers and modifying agents used styrene oligomer with a degree of oligomerization 4-5 containing toluene 10 wt.% and the residual styrene is not more than 0.15 wt. %. The composition provides gloss coatings, reducing emissions of volatile substances during drying. table 2.

The invention relates to the field of production of paintwork materials, in particular based paints polystyrene film-forming and can be used to protect exterior surfaces in various industries.

Known composition of the corrosion-resistant coating on the basis of polystyrene, toluene, zinc dust, in which to improve the protective properties of the injected coal tar [the patent of Ukraine N 5003, Ál. C 09 D 3/733, C 09 D 5/08, publishing, 1994, by and.with. USSR N 538561]. The disadvantage of this structure is the lack of gloss of the resulting coating, the presence of the cost of acquisition of the plasticizer.

The closest is the composition to obtain a paint and varnish materials (coatings) on the basis of plenkoobrazovatelem, expanded color gamut [RF patent N 2017781 prototype, class C 09 D 191/00. publication 1994].

The disadvantage of this structure is a low-gloss coatings, a large percentage of volatile substances in the atmosphere at the stage of drying, and high cost due to the use of expensive deficient plasticizers.

The basis of the invention is the task of improving composition for paints and varnishes by introducing the oligomer of styrene as a plasticizer and modifier, ensuring the availability of gloss coatings, reducing emissions of volatile substances during drying, reducing the cost of paint.

The problem is solved due to the fact that the composition for paint materials, including pigments and film-forming on the basis of polystyrene, is introduced as plasticizers and modifying agents oligomer of styrene containing toluene 10 wt.% and residual styrene is not more than 0.15 wt. %, and the degree of oligomerization 4-5 in the following ratio, wt.%:
Film-forming - 50-75
The oligomer of styrene - 5-30
Pigments - Rest
The styrene oligomer obtained by oligomerization of the cubic residue of a styrene-distillation in the presence of catalysis is holding residual styrene. This product is obtained from waste production. The cost is significantly lower acquisition costs known plasticizers.

In the proposed structure, in comparison with the known, due to the introduction of the styrene oligomer in the composition of the coatings in the present limits is achieved, along with a proportional improvement in Shine, reducing the amount of volatile, reducing the cost of the composition. The increase in the concentration of plasticizer in the known structure to the claimed ratios (5-30%) does not achieve the specified effect, additionally, the coating in this case does not dry out.

The procedure for preparation of the following composition. In a container with a stirrer download polystyrene and an appropriate amount of solvent. The contents stirred until complete dissolution of the polystyrene. To the resulting solution add oligomer of styrene and stirred to obtain a homogeneous mass. The resulting composition applied to the surface of samples for testing, is dried at a temperature of 18-23oC and experience in the applicable standards. Upon decrease of the concentration of the oligomer of styrene following proposed ratio (example 4) there is a decrease of the achieved effect and deterioration of the strength properties, while increasing the concentration of the oligomer of styrene above the proposed relationship (example 5) more than 3 times worse wiseheart coverage, reduced its hardness.

The introduction of a styrene oligomer (example 7) together with the plasticizer known in the composition does not achieve the specified effect.
