The invention relates to a tool and information-measuring areas and can be used for the identification and protection of engraving tools, such as diamond needles, from unauthorized use, the devices for the application of art-decorative images on a hard surface shock method.

Currently, the problem of protection tools for drawing images on a solid surface by shock engraving rose sharply enough. It stems from the fact that the existing engraving tools have no protection, and mass image is copied without obtaining the appropriate license.

The system of protection against unlicensed use of the tool and engraving device is ustwo, tamper proposed in the invention, constitute a single invention relates to the field of protection against forgery and is implemented as a single unit.

The technical problem on which this invention is directed, is to develop a system of protection against unlicensed use of the tool for drawing images on a solid surface by shock engraving, and engraving devices, tamper-resistant, ensuring minimum consumption and maximum reliability.

The technical problem is solved in that the control system consisting of control unit, channel acceptance, and the engraving needle holder device, the control unit reads the code stored in the memory of the electronic tags attached to the body or shank engraving tool, the decryption code to identify engraving device, comparing the received code with a reference and generating signal prohibiting or authorizing the use of the engraving device according to the principle of "friend or foe". In the invention there are two main types of e-labels - contactless electronic, called RFID tags). In the case of receiving a signal from the RFID tag representing its identification number, the control unit according to the specified algorithm calculates the code that is compared with a reference. In case of discrepancy between the codes, the control unit generates a signal which blocks the whole system. The coincidence of codes the control unit produces a command to permit further operation of the system using fixed engraving device.

On the second version of the signal recognition engraving device of the control unit via a single-wire communication channel is transmitted to the needle holder, which establishes the engraving device, at the tail end of which is electronic label, working on the 1-Wire Protocol. Next, the control unit generates a signal on the code reading electronic tags, in which the electronic tag is read its individual unique number. If the read code is not occurred, i.e. in the holder between the seeking engraving device without e-tags, the control unit blocks the operation of the system. In the case of receiving a signal from the electronic tag representing its identification number, the control unit according to the specified algorithm calculates the code that is compared with a reference. In case of discrepancy between the codes, the control unit generates a signal which blocks the whole system. The coincidence of codes the control unit produces a command to permit further operation of the system using fixed engraving device.

It should be noted that the system with the single electronic tag cheaper to implement than a system with RFID-tagged, because RFID tags require expensive transceivers, whereas for a system with a single e-tag only need one wire for input and output and a common ground wire.
