The problem of adequate treatment of acute post-stress human diseases (coronary heart disease (CHD), acute myocardial infarction, acute disorders of cerebral circulation, pulmonary embolism, disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome, thrombophilia) remains relevant for both clinical medicine and basic research. The importance of these diseases is associated not only and not so much with their wide distribution, but with the role these diseases play in the morbidity and mortality of the population in economic loss for the country, disability and premature death of the adult working creatively active population (manual VA, Vishnyakov NI Public health and health care // Moscow: "Medpress-inform Agency, 2002). One of the main pathogenetic mechanisms of acute and chronic stress reactions is disorganization clearly consolidated systems hemorheology, immunity, haemostasis and homeokinesis. It is known that maintaining the constancy of the internal environment is the guarantee normal functioning of the visceral systems and the organism as a whole (Steptol A. Stress and illness // Psychologist, 1993, No. 6, p.76-82).

This is now proved the role of stress as the main etiological factor for coronary heart disease, atherosclerosis, hypertension and many other diseases (Selye, Essays about adaptation syndrome //M.: Medicine, 1960. Bersudsky S.O. General adaptation syndrome.// In kN. General pathology. - Saratov: Publishing house of Saratov medical University, 2002, s-84). In particular, the risk factors for coronary heart disease include elevated levels of emotional tension or the so-called stress-coronary profile personality (type a), accompanied by increased release into the blood glucocorticoids, which causes the increased demand of oxygen, increases heart rate, blood pressure, and causes thereby the development of myocardial ischemia causes an increase coagulants activity of the blood. All these circumstances can provoke an exacerbation of ischemic heart disease, and are also a risk factor for its development. Therefore, the decrease in the level of glucocorticoids in the blood of patients with CHD is pathogenetically justified (Chazov E.I. heart Disease and blood vessels. A guide for physicians. M.: Medicine, 1992; Ruxin CENTURIES Emergency cardiology. M.: Publishing house "Laboratory of Basic Knowledge", 2003, 521 S.).

Elevated levels of emotional tension or the so-called stress-coronary profile personality (type a), accompanied by an increase of emissions in blood glucocorticoids, usually the patients with coronary artery disease manifests itself in the form of irritability, fear of death, anxiety, inadequate reaction to external stimuli. Until recently, most researchers have used methods psychotropic medication prevention changes caused by stress. However, the use of medication along with the desired effect is often accompanied by the development of severe adverse and allergic reactions (Steptol A. Stress and illness // Psychologist. 1993, vol.6, p.76-78).

New promising and affordable treatment for cardiovascular disease is terahertz therapy. Thus, numerous studies have shown a beneficial effect of electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range on the dynamics of the microcirculation, hemostasis and fibrinolysis, which may play an important role in the prevention of violations of the functional status of platelets and hypercoagulability in patients with acute myocardial infarction, angina pectoris, vascular diseases of the brain and spinal cord (Parshina S.S., Kirichuk V.F., Golovacheva T.V. etc. First experience of clinical application of electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range of frequencies of molecular spectrum of nitric oxide // Biomedical technology and electronics, 2004, No. 11, p.44-54; Parshina S.S. Clinical features of the use of THZ-therapy - NO patients angina// Biomedical technology in the technology and electronics, 2006, №1-2, p.4-11; Parshina S.S., Kirichuk V.F., Golovacheva T.V. and other Peculiarities of the influence of THZ-therapy - NO on the functional state of the hemostatic system in patients with angina pectoris // Biomedical technology and electronics, 2006, No. 3, p.3-7; Betsky OV, Krenicki A.P. Biophysical effects of waves in the terahertz range and the prospects of the new directions in biomedical technology: Terahertz therapy" and "Terahertz diagnostics" //Biomedical technology and electronics, 2003, No. 12, p.3-6; Betsky OV, Kirichuk V.F., Krenicki A.P., Lebedeva N.N. and other Terahertz waves and their application. Biomedical technology // Biomedical technology and electronics, 2005, No. 8, pp. 40-48).

It is known that the prior 15-minute exposure to electromagnetic terahertz radiation at frequencies of nitrogen oxide 150, 176-150, 664 GHz to the maximum extent limit the development of stress reactions caused including increased secretion of adrenal cortex hormones that cause hypercoagulation of blood (Sergeev V.P., Seyfulla RD, may A.I. Physical and chemical mechanisms and hormonal regulation of blood coagulation. Chapter XII, adrenal cortex Hormones and clotting function // M.: Nauka, 1974, p.153-187) and thereby prevents the development of changes in the blood clotting system and the microcirculatory level of hemostasis, in the hour of the activity in the functional activity of platelets, one of the manifestations of the stress response of the organism (Kirichuk V.F., Ivanov A.N. Antipova OLGA. and other electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range of frequencies of molecular spectrum of nitric oxide on platelet white rats during immobilization stress. Biomedical technology and electronics, 2004, No. 11, p.4-11; Kirichuk V.F., OLGA Antipova., Ivanov A.N. and other anti-stress action of electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz frequency range molecular spectrum of nitric oxide. Biomedical technology and electronics, 2004, No. 11, p.12-20; Kirichuk V.F., OLGA Antipova., Tsymbal A.A. and other clotting function and electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range molecular spectrum of nitric oxide. Biomedical technology and electronics, 2004, No. 11, pp.28-34).

We first proposed a method of reducing the increased functional activity of the adrenal cortex (enhanced secretion of glucocorticoids, in particular corticosterone) by affecting the sternum area of terahertz waves at a frequency of molecular spectrum of emission and absorption of nitric oxide 150, 176-150, 664 GHz at a power density of ˜0.2 mW/cm2within 15 minutes.

Studied samples of blood serum from 50 white rats-males weighing 180-220 g as a model, simulating the increased functional activity of the adrenal cortex, nutrition is usausa enhanced secretion of corticosterone, applied three-hour immobilization stress: acute variant - rigid fixation rats in position on the back for 3 hours once; chronic variant - rigid fixation rats in position on the back for 3 hours every day for 5 days (Kirichuk V.F., OLGA Antipova., Krenicki A.P., Tupikin E, it was found A.V., Betsky O.V., Ivanov A.N., Tsymbal A.A., Pomoshnikov I. Method of prevention and correction of stress damages the body. RF patent №2284837 from 10 October 2006).

The study was conducted on 5 animal groups of 10 animals each: group 1 - control - intact animals; 2 and 3, group - comparative, animals in a state of acute and chronic immobilization stress; 4, 5 group - experienced, in which animals were exposed to a single pre-exposed for 15 minutes immediately before the immobilization and within 15 minutes every 5 days on the background of the development of chronic stress.

One-time pre-irradiation region xiphoid process of the sternum animals in a state of acute immobilization stress, and 5-day pre-exposure to animals in a state of chronic immobilization stress was conducted electromagnetic waves at the frequency of the molecular spectrum of emission and absorption of nitric oxide 150, 176-150, 664 GHz at t the value of 15 minutes, when power density ˜0.2 mW/cm2given the short-wave generator NO developed at JSC "Central research Institute of measuring equipment" (Saratov), together with the Federal state unitary enterprise "SPE-Source" grazino and technical Medical Association EHF Moscow.

Blood sampling was carried out by puncture of the right departments of heart, in the morning at the same time. Quantitative determination of the concentration of corticosterone in the serum was carried out by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay using a set of reagents JSC "Vector-best" (Russia).

It is shown that in rats in a state of acute and chronic immobilization stress, increased functional activity of the adrenal cortex. This was accompanied by statistically significant compared with control group, the increase in the concentration of corticosterone in the serum. Thus, in conditions of acute stress, it increases almost 12 times, under conditions of chronic stress in 7 times (table).

The effects of THZ radiation on the frequency of molecular spectrum of emission and absorption of nitric oxide 150, 176-150, 664 GHz at a power density of ˜0.2 mW/cm2within 15 minutes causes a reduction of the increased functional activity of the adrenal cortex, resulting in the reduction of corticosterone in the blood serum of the animal is, subjected to acute (3.7 times)and chronic stress (1.8 times). The most pronounced effect was obtained in animals subjected to acute immobilization stress (table). The data presented indicate that when the exposure mode is the partial restoration of impaired glucocorticoid functional activity of the adrenal cortex.

Example 1.

In the intact rat 1 was to determine the concentration of corticosterone in the serum (39,2 nmol/l). Then the animal was subjected to a three-hour acute immobilization stress. During the development of acute stress reactions registered an increase in the concentration of corticosterone in 12 times - 470,4 nmol/L. Next, the animal was pre-irradiated with electromagnetic waves in the terahertz range at frequencies of 150, 176-150, 664 GHz at a power density of ˜0.2 mW/cm2within 15 minutes, and then subjected to three-hour acute immobilization stress. In the sample of blood serum of rats subjected to pre-irradiation, the detected decrease in the concentration of corticosterone compared with the detected sample in acute immobilization stress without prior irradiation 3.7 times and amounted 127,1 nmol/L.

Thus, the method of reducing the increased functional activity of the adrenal cortex under the influence of lektromagnitnogo terahertz emission at frequencies of molecular spectrum of emission and absorption of nitric oxide 150, 176-150, 664 GHz at a power density of ˜0.2 mW/cm2within 15 minutes can be used in cardiology as a method of correction of violations of the functional activity of the adrenal cortex, particularly in patients with ischemic heart disease.
