(57) Abstract:

Composition for anti-corrosion coatings with the use of a copolymer on the basis of the bottoms of the distillation of styrene copolymer KORS), which is intended primarily for the protection of metal (including steel) structures operated in atmospheric conditions, as well as for protection of concrete and wooden structures exposed to atmospheric effects, contains a copolymer on the basis of the bottoms of the distillation of styrene polukriminalnoy resin, polystyrene, plasticizer, filler, pigment xylene. Cost of coverage not less than two times cheaper than enamel PF-115. When testing the camera of heat and moisture to +40°C and relative humidity of 95-98%) occurrence of pitting corrosion observed after 64 hours in the salt fog chamber(22°C, humidity of 95-98% and spray-3%-aqueous solution of sodium chloride) occurrence of pitting and blistering observed after 32 h of testing. table 2.

The invention relates to compositions for anti-corrosion coatings using copolymer-based bottoms V rectification styrene copolymer KORS), and is intended primarily for the protection of metal (in the wooden structures, exposed to weathering.

Known composition for corrosion-resistant coating comprising a copolymer based on a bottoms distillation styrene copolymer KORS) as a foaming agent, policrystalline, plasticizer, asbestos as filler, xylene as the organic solvent [1].

Coatings based on this composition have, at a relatively small cost significantly lower protective properties than, for example, enamel PF-115, recognized as one of the best for the protection of structures exposed to atmospheric influence.

Known composition for corrosion-resistant coating comprising a copolymer based on a bottoms distillation styrene copolymer KORS) as a foaming agent, plasticizer, asbestos as filler, xylene as the organic solvent, the copolymer based on oligomers of butadiene with methyl methacrylate [2].

The disadvantage is that at relatively small cost of the coating, it has a significantly lower protective properties than, for example, enamel PF-115, recognized as one of the best for the protection of structures exposed Atmosfera composition for anti-corrosion coatings, comprising a copolymer based on a bottoms distillation styrene copolymer KORS), plasticizer, filler, pigment, organic solvent. In addition, the composition included polymerized unsaturated compounds pyrolysis liquid and gaseous petroleum fraction C8-C9- resin SPP 9 - 14 [3].

The advantage of the composition is relatively low cost coverage. However, the coating has significantly lower protective properties than, for example, enamel PF-115, recognized as one of the best for the protection of structures exposed to atmospheric influence.

The problem to which the invention is directed, is to create compositions that provide enhanced protective properties, not worse provide coatings enamel PF-115, with relatively low cost.

The problem is solved as follows. According to the invention, the composition for corrosion-resistant coating comprising a copolymer on the basis of the bottoms of the distillation of styrene, xylene, plasticizer, pigment, filler, has a distinctive essential features in the new essential features, namely the composition contains polyacrylamides rectification of styrene - 8 - 11

The presence polycarbazoles resin composition without deteriorating the adhesion properties to have the composition of a significant amount of polystyrene, which together with the specified copolymer and polycarbazoles resin is a film with equally good properties than the film-forming enamel PF-115, but not less than two times cheaper.

As a copolymer on the basis of the bottoms of the distillation of styrene using a polymerization product of a joint VAT residue of the distillation of styrene with acid anhydrides (maleic anhydride) (GOST 11153-75).

Poliakrilonitrila resin - polymer of esters of acrylic acid (TU 33.021256-89).

Polystyrene is a polymer, the product of polymerization of styrene (GOST 20289-84).

As the plasticizer can be used dibutylsebacate (GOST 8728-82), dibutyl phthalate (GOST 8728-88).

As filler can be used talc powder for paint industry (TO-25-201-77), mica Muscovite ground (GOST 855-74). As the pigment can be the UNT yellow zheleznovsky (GOST 18172-72), pigment red gelenkiy (TL6-10-602-74). Xylene oil (GOST 9410-78) - organic solvent.

The composition for anti-corrosion coatings are produced at the beginning of the formation of the solution taken in prescription quantities of granulated polystyrene prescription number of xylene, and then mix this solution with a copolymer based on a bottoms distillation of styrene, polycarbazoles resin, a plasticizer, taken in prescription number, until a homogeneous film-forming base composition, and then mixed with filler and pigment, taken in prescription number, dispersed by processing in the cage mill and bead mill to the required milling degree, and then filtered and poured into containers.

The surface composition is applied by brush, spray gun or roller.

The tests were carried out as follows.

On the steel samples of low carbon steel ART. C dimensions 100x30x1,8 mm brush layers with intervals between coats for 60 min, was applied a layer of approximately uniform thickness following compositions: a well-known composition is the prototype, enamel PF-115 according to GOST 6465-76, variants of predlagaiy tested on the following parameters: appearance, adhesion, erosion resistance, corrosion resistance in the chamber of heat and moisture in the salt fog chamber.

The adhesion strength was determined by the method of lattice cuts on GOST 15140-78.

Erosion resistance of the coatings were determined at the "Typhoon" at the action on samples of the abrasive jet.

The weather resistance of the coatings were determined in:

a) the camera of heat and moisture at 40oC and a relative humidity of 95 to 98%;

b) the salt fog chamber at a temperature of 22oC, humidity of 95 to 98% and when spraying a 3% aqueous solution of sodium chloride.

The invention is illustrated by examples of specific performance (see table. 1) and performance in the tests (see table. 2).

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cleaning of surfaces made from natural and artificial stones, ceramic materials and may be used for cleaning buildings faces and interiors from atmospheric contamination and for maintenance activities. Method of buildings faces and interiors cleaning includes cleaning with water, drying and applying hydrophobisated compositions in two layers. As soon as the first layer is applied, it is exposed before the second layer application during the time needed for complete hydrophobisated composition absorption. Polysiloxane resin emulsion Tego Phobe 6600 is dissolved in water at ratio 1:4-5 and used as hydrophobisated composition for the first layer. As hydrophobisated composition in the second layer, a composition is used, that contains styrene-acryl dispersion, silicon resin or silicon resins mixture, pigments, disperser, thickener, emulsifier, foam killer, preserving agent, coalescent and water at the stated ratio of components.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to floor covering of rubber-polyolefine composition and method of obtaining thereof. Covering for surface includes 5 to 50 wt/wt % of thermoplastic material chosen from the group including polyethylene of extra-high molar weight, ion metre or copolymer of ethylene with methylmethacrylate, copolymer of ethylene with acrylamide, polystyrene, copolymers of ethylene with butyl acrylate, ethylene with methyl acrylate, ethylene with vinyl acetate, ethylene with octane, polyvinyl chloride, polyethylene, polypropylene, polybutene, and their mixture, from 5 to 50 wt/wt % of elastomeric material chosen from the group including styrene-butadiene rubber, nitrile-butadiene rubber, natural rubber, isoprene rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber and their mixture, from 5 to 20 wt/wt % of resin with high content of styrene, from 25 to 70 wt/wt % of filler and from 1 to 10 wt/wt % of vulcanising system. Method is implemented by mixing thermoplastic material, elastomeric material, resin with high content of styrene, filler, vulcanising system, calendering of mixture thus obtaining at least two calendered sheets, granulation of these sheets thus obtaining granules, mixing of the above granules and obtaining marble-like coating for surface by means of these granules and vulcanisation of elastomeric material.

EFFECT: obtaining the coating with increased resistance to tear and resistance to formation of spots.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an emulsion polymerisation method for obtaining aqueous dispersions of a polymer which is different from any chloride-containing polymer. The method involves polymerisation of (a) 20-80 pts.wt conjugated aliphatic dienes, (b) 20-80 pts.wt vinyl aromatic compounds, (c) optionally up to 10 pts.wt ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids and/or dicarboxylic acids, preferably 0.1-10 pts.wt, (d) optionally up to 20 pts.wt nitriles of ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acids, (e) optionally up to 20 pts.wt copolymerisable vinyl compounds different from components (b), (c) and (d), (f) optionally a base, preferably in an amount which is sufficient to neutralise between approximately 1% and approximately 50% carboxylic acid groups of component (c). The method is realised in the presence of water, an initiator(s) and at least one emulsifying agent (g), where the emulsifying agent (g) contains: (g1) at least one sulphated ethoxylated fatty alcohol, having the average number of ethoxy groups n1, (g2) at least one sulphated ethoxylated fatty alcohol having the average number of ethoxy groups n2, where: n2≥n1 + a×n1 , a≥0.5, preferably a≥1, and n1>0, preferably n1≥2. Emulsifying agents (g1) and (g2) are present in amount of 0.1-5 pts.wt per 100 pts.wt of the total weight of monomer components (a)-(e).

SUBSTANCE: composition contains 55.5-86.2 pts.wt aqueous dispersion of a copolymer with particle size of not more 0.1 mcm, containing 35.5-38.0 wt % butyl acrylate, 16.5-18.0 wt % 2-ethylhexyl acrylate, 10.0-11.0 wt % methyl methacrylate, 13.5-15.0 wt % styrene, 14.0-15.0 wt % α-methyl styrene, 5.0-5.5 wt % methacrylic acid, and 13.8-44.5 pts.wt aqueous solution of isopropyl alcohol mixed with water in ratio 1:1-3:1. EFFECT: improved continuity and adhesion strength of a polymer coating on aluminium foil, which ensures strong adhesion of printing ink on foil.

The radar-absorbing material additionally comprises carbon nanotubes in the form of multilayer straightened nanotubes with the diameter of 10 nm to 0.1 microns and the length of 10-100 microns.

EFFECT: reduced visibility of the protected object in the radar frequency band of electromagnetic waves enlarged up to 2,5 times.

SUBSTANCE: water coating composition has the volume pigment content (VCP) from 70 to 78%, and contains, with respect to the total volume of solids in the dry coating: a) damping pigment particles comprising: i) from 4 to 10% of titanium dioxide, b) non-damping filler particles comprising: i) calcium and magnesium carbonate, and/or ii) calcium carbonate and/or iii) nepheline syenite, and/or iv) kaolin. The total content of i)+ii)+iii)+iv) is from 40 to 75%, and the content iv) is from 0 to 45% and contains c) particles of styrene-acrylic polymer binder, the glass transition temperature (Tg) of which, calculated by the equation of Fox, is equal from -30 to 5°C, and the acid number is from 15 to 65 mg KOH per 1 g of the polymer. The polymeric particles consist of acrylic monomers and optionally additionally comprise styrene derivatives; comprises d) a dispersing agent which is insoluble in water at pH 3; wherein the composition does not contain a volatile organic solvent and hollow polymer damping pigment particles. The method of covering the part, and the part or structure, the surface of which is covered by the claimed composition, are claimed.

EFFECT: water coating compositions provide improved abrasion resistance in the wet state.
