The invention relates to compositions of raw material mixtures for the manufacture of expanded clay, which can be used in the building materials industry. Famous raw mix for the production of expanded clay, containing, wt.%: clay raw materials 97,5-98,5; bard wine and brandy production of 1.5-2.5 [1]. The objective of the invention is to increase the strength of the clay obtained from a raw mixture. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the raw mix for the production of expanded clay, clay-containing raw materials and grains wine and brandy production, characterized in that it further comprises kaolin and marble flour in the following ratio, wt.%: clay raw materials 88,0-90,0; bard wine and brandy production of 1.5 to 2.5; kaolin 1.5 to 2.5; marble powder 6,0-8,0. The following table shows the composition of raw mix for the production of expanded clay.
