The invention relates to a means for oral hygiene and preventive dental tools.

A promising direction in the field of manufacture of toothpastes is to develop formulations of toothpastes complex action, which not only effectively clean the surface of the teeth, have a preventive and curative effect on tissues of the oral cavity and have a pleasant taste and smell, but also allow the home to timely diagnose incipient caries, cracks, dental stones, etc.

Closest to our proposed toothpaste is toothpaste for caries prevention, containing a foaming agent, an abrasive material, a binder and a color component (US Patent No. 6419902, class a 61 K 7/16, 1997).

Known toothpaste contains two color component, interacting in the process of brushing your teeth with discoloration of the paste after a certain period of time corresponding to the completion of the brushing. Change the color of the paste occurs after a specified period of time and serves as a signal to end brushing your teeth, regardless of whether they fully cleared or not.

The disadvantages of the known toothpaste is the lack of control over the degree of cleaning of the teeth and the inability to exercise at home promptly the OI diagnosis of caries in its early stages.

The technical result, which directed the present invention is to expand the range of toothpastes complex actions that allow you to control the degree of purification of the mouth, the diagnosis of caries at home in its early stages and to detect cracks and Tartar.

This technical result is achieved by the fact that toothpaste for caries prevention, containing a foaming agent, an abrasive component, a binder and a color component according to the invention as a foaming agent contains sodium laurylsulfate, the abrasive component is a chemically precipitated chalk or dicalcium phosphate dehydrate, or silicon dioxide, or titanium dioxide, the binder contains sodium carboxymethyl cellulose or methylcellulose, and the color component is a food dye or juices or extracts of berries and vegetables used in the food industry for coloring, in addition contains moisturizers in the form of glycerol and/or sorbitol, biological additives, representing saccharin, essential oils or aqueous alcoholic extracts of medicinal plants, as well as preservatives and flavorings in the following ratio, wt.%:

color component 0,005-15
foaming agent 0,5-10
abrasive component 2-70
binder 0,5-10
humidifiers of 0.1-50
preservatives 0,01-0,5
biological additives 0.01 to 2
flavors 0,01-1,5
water rest

This toothpaste as preservatives may contain sodium benzoate, and/or thymol, or ethyl alcohol.

This toothpaste as flavourings may contain peppermint odorant, or peppermint oil or menthol.

The use in toothpaste as a foaming agent sodium lauryl sulphate; abrasive component is chemically precipitated chalk or dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, or silicon dioxide, or titanium dioxide; a binder of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose or methyl cellulose; a color component of a food dye, or juices or extracts of berries and vegetables used in the food industry for coloring, as well as humidifiers in the form of glycerol and/or sorbitol; biological additives, representing saccharin, essential oils or aqueous alcoholic extracts of Lekarstvo the x plants; preservatives, which can be used sodium benzoate, and/or thymol, or ethyl alcohol, and fragrances, which can be used mint flavoring, or peppermint oil or menthol, for a given ratio of these components allows control over the degree of purification of the oral cavity and to diagnose caries at home in its early stages, to detect cracks and Tartar by saving after cleaning the painted areas in the field of presence of the above defects.

When brushing your teeth removes plaque, consisting of residue and bacteria. For bacteria, these residues are nutrient medium. When these processes are allocated acid, and a buffer system of the mouth can not cope. Proteins in these residues, proteinous, and most of the amino groups receives a positive charge. In the normal state proteins are found in isoelectricity the point where the number of positive and negative groups equally. When any pathological processes proteins have more positive charges, as they are in an acidic environment. When shipping to these proteins food dyes is ion exchange: cation dye and the anion of a protein group leaves in the form of soluble substances, and painted the anion of the dye interacts with itelna charged amino group of a protein, forming a sparingly soluble compound.

A comparative analysis brushing traditional pastes the hygiene index, defined by the standard technique for assessment of tooth brushing (Therapeutic dentistry. Tutorial edited Everose. M.: Medicine, 1998, s), revealed the shortcomings of cleaning the surface of the teeth in hard to reach places, because there is no visual control of the degree of cleaning of the teeth. The inventive toothpaste helps to eliminate this disadvantage, because the plaque is painted and teeth cleaning is performed until complete removal of the paint over a period of time not exceeding 3 minutes

The presence in toothpaste as a foaming agent sodium lauryl sulphate helps to clean the teeth of plaque, the emulsification of fat and impurities. Sodium lauryl degreases the surface and loosens the plaque, facilitating access to charged amino groups.

Sodium lauryl contains a surface-active anion, which also interacts with the positively charged amino group of the protein, but the energy of their interaction is much less than Amin protein with the dye, so is ion exchange and formed the colored area.

As any pathological process accompanied by a change in the charge of the protein, the sodium lauryl facilitates access to the hearth process, and racial colors, the healthy tissues of the teeth and gums are not painted.

Based on this it is possible not only to determine the quality of the brushing and the time needed for brushing your teeth, but also to diagnose any pathological processes: the presence of caries, cracks and micro-fractures of tooth enamel, Tartar, and even seals.

Their colour remains within 10-15 minutes after cleaning. During this time, the buffer system of the mouth gradually changes the pH is purified from impurities foci of pathological processes and the dye goes into solution, discoloration occurs.

The main feature of diagnosis is the coverage of dental hard tissues (enamel) at their defeat, while the healthy tooth tissue does not stain.

At trial stated toothpaste 107 volunteers in 28 people were diagnosed with caries at an early stage in 15 - non-carious lesions (microcracks and other).

Qualitative and quantitative composition of the inventive paste selected by the authors experimentally and balanced in such a way that toothpaste, along with the above mentioned health and preventive and diagnostic properties, also has high consumer properties, effectively cleans the teeth, does not run when applied to the surface of the toothbrush and has a pleasant taste and smell, tamilna when stored.

The inventive toothpaste for caries prevention is prepared as follows: to a reactor with a stirrer download moisturizers (glycerin or sorbitol), binder (sodium carboxymethyl cellulose or methylcellulose), the reactor was sealed, stirred for 10 minutes, add water and after stirring for 40 minutes in the mixture add abrasive component (chemically precipitated chalk, or dicalcium phosphate dihydrate, or silicon dioxide, or titanium dioxide), preservatives (sodium benzoate, and/or thymol, or ethyl alcohol) and supplements (saccharin, essential oils or aqueous-alcoholic extracts of medicinal plants). Then the mass for three hours homogenized, dispersed, vacuum at a residual pressure of 50-60 mm Hg and add foaming agent (sodium laurylsulfate), color component (food coloring, or juices or extracts of berries and vegetables and flavorings (peppermint odorant, or peppermint oil or menthol).

The whole process of getting toothpaste carried out without heating at a temperature of 18-25°C.

After pumping obtained toothpaste in the bunker taboopornclips machines produce filling paste in tubes.

The quality of the toothpaste must comply with the requirements of GOST 7983-99.

A pilot batch of toothpaste for caries prevention.

Results the ATA claimed toothpaste for caries prevention for microbial purity showed a complete absence of bacteria, yeast and moulds.

Toxicological tests showed no acute toxicity when administered orally, the absence of irritating action on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity and the gastrointestinal tract.

Clinical studies on volunteers in the amount of 100 people showed that the proposed toothpaste for caries prevention has no irritant and allergic action. In tests it was found that toothpaste is safe for health and exercising control over the degree of purification of the mouth and diagnosis of caries in its early stages with the detection of microcracks and Tartar, helps to remove plaque, prevents the formation of Tartar, provides effective protection against tooth decay and strengthens tooth enamel and reduces the inflammation of the gums.
