Method of producing insertions for jewelry includes the formation of a ceramic slurry of the inserting blank in the form of artificial stone, curing the blank and drying with firing and application on its front surface of the decorative element. On the mould mass a reprint is made of the set image relief, on the solidified mass with the reprint set a doubling ring is placed, which defines the shape and size of the insertion blank, the resulting reprint of relief image is poured with a layer of dental ceramic slip of fixed thickness. After its solidification and removal of the mass, curing of the insertion blank with a decorative element is carried out with drying and firing, then after cooling the blank the resulting relief image of the decorative element is covered with a layer of a liquid mixture of powder of transparent pigmented enamel ceramics with water, and the layer of enamel coating is cured with final drying and firing. In another version of the workpiece the inserting blank of a given configuration and size is formed from the dental ceramic slurry. During the time of workpiece material remain in a plastic state on its front surface the decorative element is applied in the form of bar-image and curing of the inserting blank is made with drying and firing. Then, after cooling of the blank the resulting bar-image of decorative element is covered with a layer of a liquid mixture of powder of transparent pigmented enamel ceramics with water, filling grooves in bar-image, and the layer of enamel covering is cured with the final drying and firing.

Invention relates to jewellery, namely, to pieces of jewellery made of precious and semiprecious stones. A piece of jewellery comprises a substrate made in the form of a spherical body with smooth outer surface and a core, preferably a pearl, with a radially arranged cone-shaped seat, in which the base is located near the outer surface of the substrate, and the top is located inside the substrate core. The piece of jewellery comprises a smooth or a faceted insert, preferably a precious or a semiprecious stone, made of a pavilion fixed with the help of a fixing agent in the substrate seat, a girdle and a crown. In the substrate core in the area of the seat top along the axis (0-0) of the substrate there is a hole provided, where the top of the insert pavilion is installed. The base of the substrate seat is made with a groove, where the girdle and the crown of the insert are placed. The diameter (d) of the hole made in the substrate core in the area of the seat top along the axis (0-0) of the substrate is selected as equal to 0.1-0.9 of the diameter (D) of the substrate seat base. The diameter (d1) of the substrate seat base deepening is selected as equal to 1.01-1.20 of the diameter (D2) of the insert girdle, and the depth (h) of the substrate seat base deepening is chosen as equal to 0.8-2.0 of the sum of heights (h1+h2) of the girdle (h1) and the crown (h2) of the insert.
