Method of making conglomerate engobe / 2325373
Any type of clay can be used when making conglomerate angobes, provided it can dissolve in natrium liquid glass. The clay is unfurled in water with natrium liquid glass up to 50-70% moisture. The quantity of liquid natrium glass added to the unfurled clay is equal to the quantity necessary for maximum dissolution of the watery ceramic slip with 40-45% moisture of the same clay. The unfurled clay is settled until it fully separates into sediments and a sedimental-stable suspension of clay minerals. The obtained water suspension of clay minerals, Particles of which are mot more than 1 mcm in size, are taken to the surface of the formed dry clay products, dried and are burnt in an acidic medium at temperature of 900-1050°C. An engobe-gloss coating with low water absorption capacity is obtained on the surface of the product.

1 tbl
The invention relates to the field of production of supplements for thinning ceramics used in the manufacture of products by a method of slip casting.
One of the most important tasks in the preparation technology of foundry ceramic slurry is to provide sufficient mobility of the slip with a minimum moisture content. This is achieved by the introduction of various thinners additives.
The prior art known, used in production method liquefaction, which use complex containing expensive import electrolyte , calcined soda and liquid glass in the ratio 1:1:2 respectively [Kosenko V.G. Petrov, A.A., Protasova L.G. Promising direction in the development of production of products of sanitary ceramics // Glass and ceramics, 2000, №2, pp.18-10].
The disadvantage of this complex agent is the high cost of imported electrolyte.
As a prototype chosen known by the patent RF №2238921 complex Supplement containing softener SAT-5 and sodium tripolyphosphate, used in production of refractory moulding systems, mix ratio 1:4, respectively. Introduction of the additive in ceramic slip does not result in significant dilution system, minimally increases the mobility of ceramic slurry and is also known ineffective in the manufacture of ceramic products by the method of slip casting. Plasticizer SAT-5 and sodium tripolyphosphate quite expensive components, and therefore cost of the finished products will be high enough.
The task of the invention get the complex additive for ceramic slurries, to increase the mobility of ceramic slurry and reduce the cost of finished goods.
The task is solved by the introduction in ceramic slip complex additive containing softener SS-5, sodium tripolyphosphate, and sodium hydroxide in a ratio of components, mass%: SAT-5 16

Plasticizer SS-5 is known as an additive in building concrete mixes [Slyusar A.A. Complex additive for concrete mixture on the basis of superplasticizers p-3 and SA-5 / A.A. Slyusar, DUDKA Mukhacheva // Vestnik of BSTU named. V.G. Shukhov. - Belgorod, Belgorod state technological University named. V.G. Shukhov, 2005. - №10. - .273-275]. Get plasticizer on the basis of production wastes of resorcinol (Novomoskovsk plant of organic synthesis), that allows to partially solve the problem of waste production. Synthesize SAT-5 in the following way [N.M. Latypova, Slyusar, AA, Shapovalov N.A. and others Receive plasticizer of chemical production waste. // Ecology and industry of Russia, 2000, №1, p.16-17]: resin Resid production of resorcinol in the presence of NaOH prepare a water solution, heating it up to 50 C and stirring until dissolved. Then add and heated to 70 degrees C. as A result of polycondensation resin with formed 20%-s ' solution of SA-5, ready to use. SAT-5 belongs to the 4th class of toxicity (low-hazard substances). Product SAT-5 can be used as a solution, and as a dry powder (after evaporation and grinding).
Sodium tripolyphosphate, and sodium hydroxide are widely used in the ceramic and refractory industries. However, the introduction of ceramic slip of sodium tripolyphosphate sodium hydroxide or sodium as the individual additives and introduction only SAT-5 does not lead to such effective segregation of the slip, as the introduction of complex containing sodium Tripolyphosphate, sodium hydroxide and SAT-5 in the ratio of components, mass%: SAT-5 16

Offered complex Supplement differs from the prototype that contains sodium hydroxide, and components of the proposed integrated supplements are introduced in the following ratio SS-5, sodium Tripolyphosphate, and sodium hydroxide 16%:60%:24% respectively.
Experimental verification of the effectiveness of this additive was prepared ceramic slip, which is used for manufacture of sanitary-ceramic products. Its components are: clay materials 53 wt.%; emaciated 32 wt.%; Plavni 15 wt.%.
The slip added the well-known complex additive containing 0,03 wt.% , 0,025% Mas. soda ash, 0,06% liquid glass (structure 1), and claimed the complex additive containing 0,016 wt.% SA-5, 0,024 wt.% sodium hydroxide and 0.06% Mas. of sodium tripolyphosphate (2 composition).
The slip was prepared by the method of wet grinding in a ball mill. Volume concentration of the dispersed phase C V =37%. The mobility of the slip was estimated by the time of the expiration of 100 ml slip after keeping him alone for 30 s (the first fluidity and within 30 min (the second turnover). Determined the coefficient thixotropy and To speed dial a ceramic mixture on the walls of gypsum forms (table 1). Table 1
Influence of additives on the rheological parameters of the slip Additive
The first turnover, with
The second fluidity, with To
Speed dial mass, g/cm2 ·min
1(analog) 50 80 1,6 0,052 2 17 20 1,2 0,090
As seen from the table, the developed additive allows to increase the fluidity of the slip compared with additive production and reduce the coefficient of thixotropy that facilitates the transportation of the slurry pipeline.
Increasing the speed of weight gain suggests that the developed additive improves filtration properties of ceramic slurry, which, in turn, reduces the duration of the technological process and allows to increase the volume of manufactured products.
In addition, the proposed method allows to reduce the cost of finished products by reducing the number of costly components of complex additives: SAT 5 - 16% instead of 20%, sodium tripolyphosphate - 60% instead of 80%. Both well-known component rather expensive and decreased by 4% and 20%, respectively, will lead to significant savings, since the addition of sodium hydroxide because of its cheapness will significantly increase the value of supplements, and, hence, and finished products.
Comprehensive additive for ceramic slurries, used in the manufacture of ceramic products by casting in plaster moulds containing sodium tripolyphosphate and plasticizer SS-5, wherein the complex is administered sodium hydroxide in the following ratio of components, mass%:
