The invention relates to a device gun weapon systems and can be used to simplify the design and improve the reliability of their machinery.

A device of the recoil mechanism (VM) small arms gun "Cliff", which contains the clutch, manual connecting rod installation, fixing and resistant areas, back-and-combat spring and other parts. The clutch serves as a stop for the spring, has a decorative outdoor groove, which is installed and fixed on the rod (see Manual 12.7 mm machine gun "Utes" (NSV-12.7), Military publishing house of the Ministry of defense of the USSR, Moscow, 1978, p.16). The unit is adopted for the prototype.

The disadvantages of the prototype are: the complexity and unreliability of the return mechanism associated with the split form of the coupling, which complicates the technology of its manufacture, reduces its strength and affects working conditions spring - bearing in cut clutch is missing, which can lead to deformation of the parts and the deterioration of reliability of all of the recoil mechanism.

The task of the invention is to simplify the design and increase the reliability of the recoil mechanism.

The technical result obtained by carrying out the invention, is to perform closed-form couplings provide the complete support of the recoil and reliable fixation of parts of the recoil mechanism.

This technical result is achieved by the fact that the recoil mechanism of small arms, containing the coupling groove, the step of connecting the rod with the installation, fixing and thrust areas, as well as a return spring, it is new that the groove in the clutch is made of a closed-loop shape, and the rod is arranged to pass through the groove of the coupling on the stepped areas, thus covering the size of the cross section of the installation section of the rod is smaller than the width of the groove of the coupling, the locking section of the rod is made of faces, and the dimension between faces less, and covers the size of the faces larger than the width of the groove of the coupling.

Clutch return mechanism of small arms may be provided with annular ribs.
