Before the fish pump on the suction side a devise is positioned providing for removal of nuisance bycatch and foreign bodies from the flow transported. The device includes a trawl net for the catch at the end whereof fish duct hose is attached for delivery onboard a fishing trawler. The trawl net end is designed as an open tunnel composed of trawl nets. The tunnel has an inlet turned towards the trawl net and an outlet leading outside the trawl net. In the centre of the tunnel composed of trawl nets a fish pump is installed ith its suction side turned towards the trawl net. The fish pump pressure side is connected to a fish duct hose.
