Road pavement surfacing or repairing method involves levelling of the pavement till clearance level under a three-metre levelling board is not more than 3-5 mm, and laying thereon of protective and rough wearing coat. As protective and rough wearing coat, there used is dense asphalt mix containing the following, wt %: crushed stone obtained from hard-to-polish rocks with particle size of 3-10 mm or 5-15 mm - 65-70, sand of crushed hard-to-polish rock screening with particle size of up to 5 mm - 10-15, mineral limestone powder - 15-20, bitumen, above 100% of mineral part 5.5-6.5 with layer 15-25 mm thick, at the mixture temperature of 215-225°C, packing with vibratory beam of the asphalt laying machine at the speed of the latter of 1.0-2.0 m/min and pressing into the coating with the compactor. Method of repairing road pavement with grooves is described.
