The bosses of the inserts are installed in the holes of the cover plates, round holes for the key are made in them coaxially with the axis of the mechanism cores. Segment lugs are made on the end faces of the cores, their plane surfaces are engaged with the end sections of the plane bottom of the groove made on the stepped section of the key at its rotation.
EFFECT: prevented mechanical action on the body, enhanced reliability, reduced overall dimensions and consumption of material.

The invention relates to locks, and is intended for use with mortise locks. Known cylinder mechanism for a mortise lock, comprising a housing fixedly mounted therein on both sides of the drums with the possibility of rotation of the cores that are on the ends of the groove and the key with the tab on the tail to rotate the cores (EP No. 022233 A1, 14.01.81).
In the mentioned and other known cylinder mechanisms the length of the body is made of different sizes depending on the thickness of the doors and equals 60 to 130 mm as the ends of the housing cylinder mechanism beyond the plane of the door by an amount equal to and greater thickness of the plates mortise lock, there is the possibility that forceps, tearing the pad and grabbed the end of the housing mechanism, twisting and pulling, tearing half of the housing in its thinnest part, in place securing the case to a mortise lock, then ordinary wire skeleton key, moving the deadbolt mortise lock, open it and accordingly the door.
