Further, the slope of the discriminator curve is standardised to a value of the discriminator curve at extreme points of the monotonous operating zone depending on the sign of the calculated value of the discriminator curve. The value and direction of displacement of the monitored object is determined by averaging estimates on all raster lines. |

Method involves steps on which a picture of the lateral surface of a bullet (or case) is taken. The picture is broken into fragments of given dimensions. A histogram of phase distribution of brightness gradient vectors in all points of the fragment is obtained for each fragment. The phase histogram is transmitted to the input of a pre-trained neural network, through which each fragment is classified as a trace or noise. On picture fragments attributed to traces, the histogram is broken into ranges on brightness. The longest parallel lines are identified in each range. The inclination angle of lines along which there is maximum accumulation of points with the same brightness is determined. In case of inclination angle of 90°, the given trace on the fragment is associated with a primary trace. Histograms of distribution of inclination angles are constructed for all fragments. The maximum of histograms which correspond to the defined texture of the traces is determined, and for all traces, except the primary trace, the type of the trace is determined through the topological position of traces relative the position of boundaries of grooves. |

Spatial and time-domain parametres of the recorded dynamic fragments are calculated and for each recorded dynamic fragment, a path signal is generated from the set of parametres calculated for the said fragment, and the path signal is stored; further, the stored path signals are classified as an event for appearance, disappearance, activity and movement of objects and thus a path identification signal is generated; after that, values of the path identification signal are used to record/select fragments/frames of the input image signal, and operations for detecting and classifying images of objects are performed over the recorded fragments/frames. |

Method and system for recognising faces based on list of people not subject to verification Invention relates to biometric systems for personal identification from a facial image. In the method a collection of images of "negative" people - those people who are not subject to verification is created. A collection is created for known persons with conversion of the facial image into an internal presentation applied for recognition algorithms realised in the method. The face of a person is detected on an input image. A segmented region containing the face is prepared for recognition through standardisation of the position of the face in accordance with the position of eyes. Scaling to given dimensions is done, as well as standardisation of intensity. Fundamental face recognition algorithms which can calculate similarities between two images are executed. A subset of "negative" faces is selected and then used to determine a new recognition algorithm. A new recognition algorithm is created based on conversion of degree of proximity of the fundamental algorithm based on the created collection of "negative" faces. Recorded images are classified into a set. The system realises the said method. |

Method and device for identifying object images Invention relates to computer engineering and can be used in computer vision systems for identifying objects on images. Technical outcome is achieved due to that, the standard is stored not as a series of flat projections, which contain different aspect angles of the object, but its three-dimensional representation in vector form. During identification, the three-dimensional image is rotated, each time with generation of a series of flat images until a match is found. When solving the given task through direct search for all versions, computing time is long, therefore a series of parametres of the object are used, the class of which relates to the given object, overall dimensions. This set of parametres is determined for each model taking into account complexity of its shape. An image is sent to the input of the analyser, presented by an array of pixels in grey gradations, i.e. each element of the array assumes a value from 0 to 255. The array dimension depends on sampling parametres of the image. |
