Generator is powered by kinetic energy of gas jet produced either by oncoming air flow or by gunpowder gas from combustion of gunpowder charge contained in the generator.

The invention relates to the field of military equipment, namely to signal grenade cartridges used for the designation, control the actions of military units on the battlefield, as well as for signals warning about the possibility of any massive aggressive actions from the opposite side: massive bombing and artillery shelling, chemical attacks and the like, but can be used in signal ammunition and other weapons.

Giving signals warning is the most important task of the above and, therefore, these signals must be distinguishable for background battlefield to the greatest possible distance and should be taken at least one senses of man, but at any time of day and in any weather and climatic conditions. With regard to the signal rounds for grenade launchers, as to your portable products, triggering their element that creates a signal must occur at a fairly high altitude and be accompanied not peculiar to the battlefield sound or voice, or height, or duration and unusual visual perceptions: a large number of light sources, or multi-colored, or zone of scattering in the air, etc.
