The technical FIELD

The present invention relates to irons. More precisely, the invention relates to a device and design arm of iron.

PRIOR art

In the prior art, there have been several irons. French Patent number FR 602293 offers iron with swivel attached handle, which, when applied to her control efforts, opens the valve so as to create steam. After removal of the control voltage, the valve is closed and the steam is terminated.

The disadvantage of this iron is that the hinge arm of this device is located on the rear end of the handle, thus requiring that the user applied impractical, directed forward force to the handle in order to release steam.

An additional disadvantage is that the iron according to this document can not control other functions, for example, sputtering, a single steam discharge, dosing and/or measuring functions in practical ways.

BRIEF description of the INVENTION

The objective of the invention is the provision of iron, through which you can overcome or eliminate at least one of the disadvantages of the irons of the prior art, at the same time retaining its advantages. Additional objectives of the invention can be in Uchenie usability irons, at the same time, maintaining a strong, effective, economical and practical design.

At least one of these and/or other tasks can be achieved using iron, comprising: a base; a handle movable relative to the base; an elastic element to bias the handle in the upper position and allowing movement of the handle when rendering it forces the user toward the lower position; a controller pair, operatively connected with the handle, so as to release steam from the iron at least partially intuitively, under the control of the force exerted on the handle by the user; the console is connected to the base and provided with at least one control button; and at least one recess in the handle at least partially enclosing the console, the console and the handle are configured such that at least one control button can be manipulated by the same hand that holds the handle.

Using this design, the user can intuitively adjust the amount and/or temperature of the iron, at the same time, he/she can control additional features, such as, for example, the frequency pair, the pulsating water jets and/or other features.

Due to the recess in the handle, the console may be held stationary inside the hinged arm. R is coada can also move independently of the console, while the buttons and/or display remain embedded in the handle. Thus, the iron becomes intuitive, without loss of working advantage of the extra buttons, controls and/or displays of iron.

Accordingly, the user can manipulate iron and regulate intuitive emission of steam and other buttons and controls using the same hand. The hand of the user may remain in one position during any control button and/or the controller.

Since the console with buttons and/or regulators remains installed at the base of the sensitive part can be firmly and simply installed in the device. Thus, it is proposed practical and easy to use iron, which remains durable and requires relatively simple design and manufacture.

Another advantage is that by using this design, the handle prevents accidental intersection with any controller and/or a button, to prevent accidental pressing of one of these knobs and/or buttons.

Another object of the invention is a method of Ironing, containing the following steps: providing iron, as described above, the provision of force on the handle so that it is moved relative to the base, and intuitive controls the amount of steam to issue the extent iron, by providing a greater or lesser force on the handle.

Additional embodiments are described in the dependent clauses. These and other objects of the invention will become apparent and lit with reference to embodiments described below.

It should be noted that in U.S. Patent 2418511 described electric steam iron having a handle connected to the valve design to regulate the emission of steam from a steam iron. When the handle is force to move the iron in a given direction, the arm will also move relative to the body in this direction, and to actuate the valve. With this design steam for Ironing will be produced from the sole, at a time when the iron is moved from different places, depending on the moving arm. In U.S. Patent 2418511 described control handle, equipped on the upper side of the handle, for controlling the amount of water supplied through the valve to the steam generator.

DETAILED description of the INVENTION

Figure 1 depicts a side view of the iron 1. Iron 1 comprises a base 2 and a handle 3. Under the base 2 is stroking the sole 15, which may be provided with holes 16 for steam and/or water. Inside the base 2 or arm 3 is located a reservoir 13 for water. Although in figure 1 the tank is located inside the iron, an alternative reservoir may be a separate or remote reservoir, for example, connected to the iron by using the line to transport water or steam. During use of the iron 1, the steam may condense and be placed on the garment to be pressed through the holes 16.

In figure 1, the arm 3 pivotally connected to the base 2 by means of a hinge 8. The arm 3 is also equipped with a cutout or recess 5 in which is placed the console 6. On to the Soli 6 can be located control buttons, regulators 7 and/or displays. The underside of the console 6 is installed on the base 2 iron 1.

The handle 3 may, for example, on its rear side 12 to be equipped with an elastic element 9. This elastic element 9 can, for example, be a rubber cylinder, clutch, for example, a spring, which includes and/or is made of elastic material.

On the side of the front end of the arm 3, to protect the internal components against the ingress of water or steam, the arm 3 can be equipped with a protective elastic gasket 10. This flexible protective strip 10 may represent, for example, transparent rubber coupling, which closes the hinged connection between the base 2 and the arm 3, which can also close the console 6 and the buttons and/or knobs 7.

The arm 3 is connected to the controller 4, which can regulate the quantity of steam. In order to regulate the quantity of steam, the controller 4 may be connected to the valve 14, which, for example, can open a connection between the tank 13 and base 14. The controller 4 may be electrical, mechanical and Electromechanical type. Water can evaporate during its passage through the sole 14, and, thus, to provide additional pairs of clothes to be ironed.

When the arm 3 PR is imaeda further down, the controller 4 may be able to open the valve 14 even more, so that more steam is formed and produced. Thus, the user of the iron 1 can regulate the quantity of steam, and learn to intuitively control the iron 1.

The elastic element 9 can, for example, to provide increasing resistance when the handle 3 is pressed down. Thus, relative movement with respect to the power attached to the handle 3 can be installed. Also the corresponding hole steam valve 14 may be designed so that a well-designed ratio between the power supplied to the handle, and the quantity of steam can accurately be adjusted.

Examples of graphs representing different ratio between the amount of force exerted on the arm 3, and the quantity of steam can be found on figa-d, which are described in more detail below.

As flexible protective strip 10 can be attached to the handle 3 in the form of, for example, skintight transparent sleeves, button 7 and/or the controls on the console 6 may be visible, and you can manage them. For a small rotation of the arm 3 relative to the base 2, a flexible protective strip 10 will bend and allow the arm 3 to rotate without resistance. Thus, the regulators and the and buttons 7 are still available for the control of the user, even with the same hand, which the user uses to exert force on the handle 3.

Thus, it turns out iron 1 with utmost comfort for the user and more adaptive supply of steam.

Figure 2 presents a top view of the second embodiment of the invention. In this embodiment the recess or notch 5 fitted in a Central hole in the handle. Buttons and/or sliders 7 are located on the console 6, which, in the top view, surrounded by the arm 3. In this embodiment, buttons, sliders 7 and/or displays are stationary island inside the rotatable arm 3. Other fixed elements fixed inside the console 6 can be a hole to fill water, the handle of the regulation, the slider selection pair, a nozzle for spraying steam and/or water, the fuse from scale formation and/or other functional elements of a traditional iron.

In an alternative embodiment, as shown in figure 3, the buttons and/or sliders 7 are distributed around the Central part 3A of the handle 3, where these buttons and/or sliders 7 are divided on the console 6, which is located on each side of the handle 3.

In both embodiments, shown in figure 2 and 3, as well as the embodiments shown in figa and 4B, the console 6 and the base 2 are connected, while the arm 3 pivotally connected with on the a subject 2 and is rotated relative to the base 2, and on consoles 6. In these embodiments, the handle 3 can preferably be rotated around a hinge located at the front end 11 of the handle 3.

The front portion 11 of the handle 3 may be a separate part connected to the arm 3 the hard way. The front portion 11 can be an elastic sealing element. He may, for example, be a continuous construction for maximum rigidity, while structures with holes, reinforced for rigidity, can also be provided. These hardening can take the form of a flange, curved walls, edges, etc. that can be executed at the same time with the site front end, or can, alternatively, be attached to it.

In the embodiments shown in figa, iron 1 presents in the first position, when the handle 3 has a higher position relative to the base 2. The dotted line shows the lower position of the lever 3. On FIGU presents the second position of the lever 3, when the elastic element 9 is compressed. As you can see in figa and 4B, the console 6 together with buttons and/or knobs 7 does not move relative to the base 2.

The handle 3 down may be limited and regulated by the stopper at the rear end 12 of the handle 3. The rear end 12 may be equipped effectively the positive locking tool such as the elastic element 9.

Because activation of the steam ejection by means of the rotary arm 3 must be intuitive, the handle 3 can be kept minimal, which allows, through a simple and small efforts to activate the release of steam during passages Ironing. The rotary movement of the handle 3 may, thus, be less than 10 degrees, or the corresponding movement of the rear end of the handle may be less than 15 mm

Because the console 6 and the buttons and/or knobs 7 is not moved or rotated relative to the base 2, all connections and wires can be firmly and securely connected. By means of the elastic element 9 and/or the flexible protective strip 10, the internal components can be protected from the ingress of water and/or steam. The front end 11 of the handle 3, when its embodiment in the form of an elastic section can prevent cracking and breaking due to the pivoting arm 3.

As the elastic strip 10, and the elastic element 9, protect the internal elements of iron and can be manufactured using casting techniques, or may alternatively be attached separately to the base 2 and/or the handle 3. The elastic element 9 and the protective strip 10 can additionally perform an aesthetic function for iron 1.

In these embodiments, intuitive rucola the ka can be so designed, to provide easy activation of the steam ejection during passages Ironing. The front end of the swivel or swivel handle can be easily powered and, thus, be disposed pairs. Because the hinge is located at the front end of the handle, the application of force in a downward direction during the forward pass is obtained in a natural way, as the user pushes the iron forward. With the passage of the back, as a rule, the user irons the same area as in the forward pass, during which the user uses less power, pointing down. Due to the elastic nature of the elastic element, the arm moves up, thus reducing the quantity of steam for passage back. Thus, by using iron in accordance with these embodiments, during Ironing less energy is required. Thus, the operation cost can be preferably reduced.

On figa-5D shows schematically the relation between the force F exerted and the amount of steam S. In these diagrams, the abscissa represents the amount of force F exerted on the arm 3, and the ordinate represents the quantity of steam On S. figa shows a linear relationship between the amount of force and the amount of produced steam. For the user this means that twice the effort in use is the so called iron has doubled the amount of steam.

On figv the quantity of vapor increases exponentially with the number of applied force. This means that the user must exert a lot of force to produce a small quantity of steam, with an additional amount of force will be proportional to increase the quantity of steam.

On figs the quantity of steam, when only a small effort is made relatively high, the increase in steam generation will be achieved with significant additional application of force, and will be limited.

On fig.5D even when power is not supplied, in any case produced a certain amount of residual steam. On figa-5S steam is produced only when at least a small effort is on the handle, while in the embodiment with fig.5D main steam production is ensured irrespective of the rendered forces.

Although the invention has been illustrated and described in detail in the drawings and in the above description, the illustration and description should only be considered illustrative or exemplary and not restrictive; the invention is not limited in any way or in any form described embodiments. In any embodiment of the invention, as described above, multiple valid adapt and modify the promotion. For example, the described reservoir 14 contains water. Other liquids and their mixtures can also be used. For example, liquids containing starch or alcohol and/or liquids containing emollients. Pictured arm 3 is rotated by means of a hinge 8, which is located on the front side 11 of the handle. The hinge may also be an elastic element, which is stretched and, thus, allows rotary movement of the handle. Alternatively, the arm 3 can be moved down a little using the first and the second elastic element. In this alternative, the handle can press it down to get the release of steam.

In the description it says that the console has buttons, knobs, displays, holes to fill water nozzle for spraying steam and/or water, knobs, sliders and other functional elements. The number of functional elements is not limited to these described elements, other features and elements may also be included in the console 6. For example, a special component, dosing, for example, softening components, which add rigidity and/or other functional elements can be similarly integrated into the console.

In the text and the claims, the terms elastic, elastic and/or elastic material (materials) should respect the ü without limitation to specific material, which is elastic, so that they can take their original shape after deformation. Examples of elastic materials are rubber, for example, silicon rubber, natural rubber, other elastic plastic materials and so on. Can also be used with synthetic or natural elastic materials.

Other materials may have such a high limit of elasticity due to its special form. Springs or elements of such type of any material can provide the same elastic properties.

In this text, the expressions "front end" or "the site front end" refers to the front end of the iron or the front end of the handle, in this case, as a rule, the front end looks in the same direction as the top of the elongated shape in the form of an arrow head to the soles of 15 iron 1. Typically, the user holds the iron automatically so that the thumb of the user is located toward the front end of the handle and iron.

In the text the term "intuitive" or "intuitively" refers to the ability of the user, which he or she automatically develops during the use of this device. The relation between the number of produced or released vapor and the amount of force exerted on the handle during use, it's automatically apparent and ponat the m for the user, he/she soon will be able to automatically adapt the supplied power to produce the necessary quantity of steam. Thus, the user is automatically develop the skills for the application of the right amount of force, which is based only on experience, practice and development of this feeling.
