Paint alkyd-urethane enamel composition (versions)

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to making paint compositions, such as enamels, namely, to making various-palette alkyd-urethane enamels to be used for protective decorative coating of various surfaces. Paint alkyd-urethane enamel compositions contain a combination of, at least, one alkyd varnish, and, at least, one alkyd-urethane varnish, dye-forming pigment additive component necessary to form enamel colour, at least, one organic solvent, dispersant, siccative and other auxiliary base additives, including, at least, one rheological additive, antiskinning additive, antidimpling additive. Herewith alkyd-urethane varnish content in the composition is at least 10% of total weight of the specified varnishes and/or at least 8% of paint composition weight.

EFFECT: high stress-strain properties and processing behaviour of produced enamels.

Group of inventions relates to the field of paint compositions, such as enamel, namely to obtain alkyd-urethane enamels of different colors, which can be used for protective and decorative coatings of surfaces of different nature, in particular of metal, concrete, reinforced concrete, wood, plaster surfaces, and can be used in various industries, as well as for painting agricultural and road machinery, technological equipment and other metal and wooden surfaces, requiring good decorative properties and long service life in the ambient conditions and indoors.

Enamels are liquid, pigmented, microheterogeneous systems, one of the most important consumer-technological properties which are: adhesion, resistance film formed on the surface of the product, drying time, viscosity and decorative effect.

However, this enamel is primarily intended for producing paints (enamels), having a metallic lustre, and is intended for the coating of car bodies.

As the pigments of the paint composition contains titanium dioxide in combination with azure iron, iron oxide pigments, crown yellow lead, the lead crown lemon. The resulting enamel is quite toxic due to its content of lead pigments.

From RU 2139311, 10.10.1999 known alkyd enamel, which contains a solution of an alkyd resin in an organic solvent 15-35 wt.%, pigments 10-60 wt.%, desiccant 0.5 to 4.5 wt.%, white spirit and 4-35 wt.% alkyd resin with an acid number of 6 to 20 mg KOH/g, a modified of 0.02 to 0.2 parts by weight of polyaminoamide resin with a molecular mass of 900-5000 $ and amine number 1-15 1 parts by weight of alkyd resin. Enamel can additionally contain 0.1 to 0.5 wt.% protivolakoznoe supplements. Enamel may contain as organic solvent included in the solution of an alkyd resin, preferably white spirit. The enamel has superior resistance to water, sediment stability, improved thixotropic properties, however, primarily intended for coloring Vert is unique surfaces and their properties do not meet the higher requirements, presented to the enamel on the main protective properties and colours.

As varnish can be used as a nitrovarnishes different brands and varnishes (other polymeric base - urea type PM-270 and Uralides the basis of AU-271.

However, this coating composition is intended mainly for transparent finish products in the manufacture of stained glass, murals and does not apply to the enamel coating.

Known (patent RF №2017780 C1, RF patent №2017779) polyurethane compositions for coatings, including walkydog resin, a modified N,N-substituted aliphatic amine. They are about the present high-gloss, good optical properties and resistance to water and 1%acetic acid solution.

However, coatings based on them have low color characteristics and do not provide sufficient speed of curing, the volume of microhardness and strength properties of the coatings.

The composition forms a relatively hard surface at a temperature of 20±2°C With good luster. However, the composition does not provide a high speed curing and makes it possible to obtain coatings with good color, high adhesion, wear resistance, on yemei microhardness and tensile strength.

This known composition has good strength properties, however, relates to lacquer coatings, not enamel.

As the closest in technical essence to the claimed invention can be selected as described above alkyd enamel from RU 2139311.

The technical objective of the claimed invention with regard to this prototype (close analogue), and the indicated prior art is getting enamels with a rich wide color gamut and increased strength and protective properties, such as cyclododecanone, oil resistance, weather resistance, resistance to UV radiation in a wide range of temperatures in different climatic conditions with high adhesion and elasticity of the coating film.

The goal of the project is achieved that is claimed as the invention of a group of inventions, which includes in the first embodiment of the paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel, according to the invention containing a combination of at least one alkyd varnish and at least one alkyd-at atanasovo varnish, color pigment additive component necessary for the formation of enamel color, at least one organic solvent, dispersant, drying agent and other auxiliary additives target, including at least one rheological additive, protivopolojnuu additive Antikythera additive, and the content of alkyd-urethane varnish in the composition is at least 10% of the total mass of the above varnish and/or not less than 8% by weight of the paint composition.

The paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel may further comprise at least one filler, preferably a micro-talc, for example, mark "MT MSRD" or "MT-10 SUPER."

As at least one auxiliary additives target paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel may contain an additive selected from the group comprising rheological additive, antimaterie supplements, protivoponosnye additives or mixtures thereof.

As alkyd varnish paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel may contain pentaftalevyh varnish, and as alkyd-urethane varnish - Uralkaliy lacquer.

As a rheological additive paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel may contain Benton and/or viscogel.

As antirational supplements paint composition alkyd-urethane is th enamel may contain preferably (0,9-1,1)%solution of polymethylsiloxane in xylene.

As protivolakoznoe supplements paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel may contain preferably methylethylketoxime.

As a dispersant paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel may preferably contain a dispersant, a composition formed from a mixture of complementary target properties of surface-active substances, for example in the form of a composition of the type FA-601.

Alkyd-urethane enamel according to the invention as alkyd varnish contains various alkyd, presumably pentaftalevyh varnishes, for example pentaftalevyh varnish PF-060.

Can be used varnishes based pentaftalevyh resins modified with various fatty acids, various vegetable oils.

As alkyd varnish enamel according to the invention may contain other alkyd varnishes, e.g. the, on the basis of glyptal alkyd resins.

As alkyd-urethane varnish enamel according to the invention contains various Uralkaliy varnishes, for example Uralkaliy Lac AU-271 (TU 6-10-1552-76) contains dry residue 43-47%solvent white spirit.

Alkyd varnishes included in the composition of the enamel, represent solutions of alkyd resins (pentaftalevyh, glyptal) in organic solvents (white spirit, xylene or mixtures thereof).

The composition of the alkyd-urethane enamel is produced by mixing in a certain sequence to the components.

The enamel in two or three layers at a temperature (15-30)°C and relative humidity not more than 80%. Thickness of one layer 18-23 microns.

The drying time to "tack-free" of 1.5-2.0 hours at a temperature (18-22)°C.

Drying time to degree 3 at a temperature of:

- (20±2)°C, 6 h;

- (60±2)°C - 30 min;

- (80±2)°C - 30 minutes

Table 1 presents examples of alkyd-urethane enamels according to the invention. In examples 1-6 indicate the preferred options alkyd-urethane enamels of different colors in the quantitative ratios of the components within their quantities specified in the claims.

The examples are only illustrative of the invention but do not restrict it. In the table, separated by a slash specify a specific value components to obtain a particular color enamel.

Thus, the technical result of the claimed group of inventions is the provision of the following technological characteristics: quick drying and stable Shine while drying, high hiding capacity, efficiency, versatility - suitable for painting of new and previously painted surfaces, for example, after repair, as well as providing increased strength and protective properties, such as high resistance to impact, bending, scratching and other mechanical stress, high microhardness, wear resistance and resistance to short-term exposure to water, industrial oils, diesel fuel, household detergents. When storing, the enamel does not separate, does not form a surface film and sludge, which is achieved by developed in the invention combination varnishes - alkyd and alkyd-urethane and balanced combination of solvents, dispersing agents and special additives, applied quantitative ratio of the lacquer base and said additional components.

4. The paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel according to claim 1, characterized in that as alkyd varnish it contains pentaftalevyh varnish, and as alkyd-urethane varnish - Uralkaliy lacquer.

5. The paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel according to claim 1, characterized in that it contains is as rheological additives Benton and/or viscogel.

The paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel according to claim 9, characterized in that it contains as a dispersant dispersant preferably, a composition formed from a mixture of complementary target properties of surface-active substances, for example, in the form of a composition of the type FA-601.

11. The paint composition alkyd-urethane enamel according to claim 9, characterized in that it contains as a rheological additive preferably Benton and/or viscogel on kaolin-based, and as filler - micro-talc 1-9 wt.%.

Universal pigment coloring paste comprises pigment, film-forming agent, disperser, thickening agent and organic solvent. Alkyd glyphtal resin based on flax oil, glycerol and phthalic anhydride is used as a filling agent taken in the ratio, wt.-%: 45-47; 17-19 and 34-38, respectively, with viscosity index 60 measured at temperature 20.0 ± 0.5°C by viscosimeter device VZ-246 as 50% resin solution in xylene and having acid number 17-19 mg of KOH/g taken in the amount 30-40 wt.-%. SUBSTANCE: invention provides composition for applying self-oxidizing architectural coating, which is suitable for handling by inexperienced users having no personal respiratory protection devices at ambient temperatures and natural day light. Composition contains self-oxidizing polymeric binder and promoter system to promote self-oxidation of the binder, which promoter contains from 0 to 0.01 wt % cobalt ions and metal ions other than cobalt ions promoting surface self-oxidation in amount 0.001 to 0.04 wt % and those promoting bulk self-oxidation in amount 0.5 to 2 wt %, and also at least one photoinitiator in amount 0.3 to 2 wt %, all based on the weight of binder. This composition is applied onto surface to obtain dried architectural coating irradiated by low-energy radiation in the form of light with wavelength between 350 and 650 nm. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cold-drying anticorrosive coating compositions, which can be used in petroleum, gas, power, chemical, and other industries for protection surfaces of iron articles and structures. Composition of invention is based on binder, namely alkyd-styrene resin or poor alkyd resin in amount 11.0-44.0%. Composition further comprises 0.3-5.0% tannin or tannin derivatives as anticorrosive additive, 3.0-24.0% pigments, 5.0-22.-% fillers, and balancing amount of organic solvent.
