The method also includes determining sub-elements for predicting coding elements using information indicating the form of division of coding elements and information on prediction elements of coding elements obtained via analysis from the received bit stream. The sub-elements have regions obtained by dividing at least either the height or the width of coding elements according to arbitrary ratios. |

Invention relates to coding/decoding of picture signals. Method for variation of reference block (RFBL) with reference pixels in reference picture (I_REF) converts (TRF) reference block to first set of factors (REF (u, v,)). It changes the first set of factors (REF (u, v,)) with the help of one or several weights (TR (u, v,)) and executes the inversion (ITR) of changed. Note here that weights (TR (u, v,)) are defined by extra pixels in current picture (I_CUR) and extra reference pixels in reference picture. Application of extra pixels and extra reference pixels allows the determination of spectral weights so that they display the effects of attenuation. Particularly, if reference frame consists of two black-out frames one of which should be forecast with the help of reference frame, then assignment of weights in spectral band allows isolation of significant frame from two frames. |

Method for automatic identification of objects on images Invention relates to computer science and can be used for automatic identification of objects on images. The method involves scanning the original high-resolution photographic image. The array of the obtained readings is converted to the scale of the reference array by normalising brightness pixels with a scaling coefficient. The obtained image is broken down into three two-dimensional arrays in the standard RGB colour palette. Outlines of objects are selected using techniques for spatial differentiation of the array signal function. The relief surfaces of the objects inside the selected outlines are approximated with a mosaic of triangles. Location detection system using rfid tag Invention relates to location detection means using radio frequency identification. The invention enables RFID readers having a wide range of recognition to be located everywhere to receive location information through said RFID readers. In the process of identification it is defined whether the said printed form was used for printing the document-candidate, at that a stage of capture with high resolution of the image of a part of the said document-candidate is carried out, corresponding to the relevant part of the document, the geometrical characteristics of which was preserved. Then, the stage of extraction from the image of the said document-candidate of geometrical characteristics is carried out, which corresponds to the stored geometrical characteristics, and the stage of determining whether the measure of correlation of the geometrical characteristics exceeds the said document-candidate and the stored geometrical characteristics of the predetermined limit value. |

Invention relates to computer engineering and specifically to digital signal processing techniques. Disclosed is a method for adaptive local adjustment of change in brightness of a key frame for encoding a multi-view video sequence, in which a pixel value of the current encoded unit belonging to the encoded frame and a pixel value of the reference unit belonging to the key frame are obtained. The method further involves obtaining recovered, i.e. encoded and then decoded, pixel values that are neighbouring with respect to the current unit of the encoded frame, and pixel values that are neighbouring with respect to the reference unit of the key frame. Pixel differing from the overall set of recovered pixels are then excluded from consideration according to a predetermined criterion. |

Invention relates to electro-optical instrument-making and can be used in forensics for express inspection, investigation, identification and authentication of bond paper and documents. A library of express inspection scenarios is created in advance based on experience in inspecting similar documents. Each scenario includes one of the sequences of processing the document to be inspected with a set of optical radiation sources and converting the reflected light flux from the inspected region of the document to a video image. The method involves browsing the object to evaluated and identifying features of an undesirable image of a first group - dynamic features and of a second group - static features. If a feature of a first group or a second group is identified, features of a third group (adverse health consequences) and of a fourth group (shooting conditions) are identified. The method involves formalised analysis of the evaluation of the object based on said groups of features, determining a quantitative expression of the identified features based on factorial analysis taking into account the factorial load coefficient, summation of quantitative indicators of the identified groups of features and determining presence of an undesirable image. |
