The apparatus for determining coordinates of a "space mouse" type manipulator for inputting data into a computer has a magnet as a transmitter and uses the magnetic field as the information carrier, wherein the receiver is in form of a set of magnetic field sensors connected through an amplifier to analogue-to-digital converters, the outputs of which are connected to a microprocessor or directly to a personal computer. |

Coordinate device is provided with bendable projection, loop of current-conducting tracks, microcontroller, located in loop and switched in the chain of current-conducting tracks, and electric slot, installed on the end of loop of current-conducting tracks with possibility of its electric connection with unit of signal processing. Coordinate device is made in form of hollow disc with rounded on radius external edge. Internal disc cavity is formed by first and second layer of flexible polymer film, connected on external contour. First layer of hollow disc has shape of semisphere concave into disc cavity. Second layer of hollow disc has flat shape, on whose internal surface applied are current-conducting concentric tracks, grouped into four mutually perpendicular sectors. Current-conducting tracks of adjacent sectors are separated from each other by common current-conducting track, and distance between current-conducting concentric tracks decreases from centre of disc to periphery. On internal surface of concave disc semisphere applied is resistant layer, made in form of radial resistant sections, which are located in form of concentric rings. Each ring is located above corresponding current-conducting concentric tracks, width of concentric rings, as well as length of resistant sections, equals distance between corresponding current-conducting concentric tracks. First and second layers of polymer film are connected with each other in central part of hollow disc with formation of central bridge. Bendable projection and loop of current-conducting tracks are formed by first and second layers of polymer film, connected on their flat surface. Bendable projection and loop are connected with disc edge. Functional contact buttons and button for switching work type are placed in bendable projection. |

Determination of location of lines by m-array decoding and fast comparison of images Invention relates to determination of the position of a pen-point when the pen-point moves on a document. The document has a watermark with a labyrinth structure from which encoded information on position is determined. A sequence of images is captured by a camera in the pen. The path of the pen-point is determined by decoding the related labyrinth structure and by comparing the captured images with images of the document. If coordinates of the position of any frame which is related to the line cannot be determined from the decoded m-array, the frames are converted and then compared with the region of the document image. If coordinates of position of at least one frame are determined, coordinates of position of other frames are determined by comparing frames in the neighbouring region. |

It is presumed that, the control components of the pocket computer comprise a touch screen and control buttons. The pocket computer is operated by pressing the respective areas on the touch screen and control buttons using the tip of the thumb or a working part made from solid material with a narrow tip, fixed on a second device, worn on the thumb. The device for holding an electronic device in the hand has a pocket for the given device and a fastener of the pocket to the fingers. The shape and size of the pocket enable holding the device. The fastener is located on the side edge of the pocket and provides for loose fastening of the pocket on 2-4 fingers and is a mesh made from elastic material, which can be tied around fingers. |

The electronic pipette contains a computing device. The computing device consists of a control module and a main communication interface. The control module determines the operation carried out in the pipette. The main communication interface transmits electrical signal to the pipette, which determine the operation to be carried out in the pipette. The pipette consists of a sample pipe, piston unit, piston driving mechanism, second communication interface and a microprocessor. The piston unit is fixed to the sample pipe and has a piston plunger, which is inserted into the sample pipe. The piston driving mechanism has an actuating shaft, whose surface is in contact with the piston unit. The piston driving mechanism moves the piston plunger of the piston unit in the sample pipe, in a way that enables regulation of liquid in the sample pipe. The second communication interface receives electrical signals from the computing device. The specified result is obtained due to the fact that the system contains element (M, 1), which is controlled by the user by interacting with user's extremity. The system contains sensor (5, 6) capable of detecting the presence of the user's extremity positioned at least on or above a part of element (M, 1), means (2) for measuring the period of time, during which the extremity is present, and means (11, 9, 7, 8) for generating an alarm if the duration of the said period exceeds a threshold value. The alarm may be used to abort the presence of the extremity. |
