Surf-boards, e.g. sailboards (B63B35/79)

Active appliance for motion of water composed by keel (versions)

Active appliance for motion of water composed by keel (versions)

Claimed appliances comprise the hulls with built-in propulsors. The first active appliance comprises the keel-like hull to house the reversible propulsor arranged across the craft preset motion direction. The second active appliance comprises the keel-like hull to house at least two propulsors. Propulsors are directed at the right or oblique angle to the craft preset motion direction.

Surf-board with flipper-type propulsor

Surf-board with flipper-type propulsor

Surf-board comprises body and flipper-type propulsor mounted thereat. Flipper-type propulsor is arranged vertically, its one end being secured to the rod extending through the body in its mirror axis to turn thereabout. Plate is secured to rod end, level with the body, to interact with platform turn limiters. Bearing is arranged between said plate and body while keel fin is made at body bottom front in mirror axis.

Device to start and return aerodynamic shaped element and aerodynamic shaped element

Device to start and return aerodynamic shaped element and aerodynamic shaped element

Invention relates to tethered propulsors for ships. Proposed element has top flexible layer extending in crosswise and lengthwise directions, bottom flexible layer adjoining said top layer and jointed therewith by several webs running along chord of shaped element, and inner air-filled space there between. At least one hole is arranged between two front edges of said top and bottom layers to inject air into said inner space. Several draw strips are secured on shapes element and connected to towing cable for connecting shaped element with ship. Several bow strips are connected to layers or webs to decrease or increase magnitude of shaped element by reefing or unreefing. Besides, there is rod element arranged in lengthwise direction to stabilise aerodynamic profile. Rod element is secured on top or bottom layer or on web. One of reefing strips turns from crosswise direction onto lengthwise direction. Proposed device comprises mast with jointer element. Ship propulsor comprises bow mast and towing cable pivoted to ship bow point located ahead of mast.

Motorised sailboard

Motorised sailboard

Invention relates to floating crafts for aquatic sports. Motorised sailboard contains board of 200 kg displacement with raised fore end to be able to climb a wave of up to 0.3 m, and fixed petrol two-stroke engine. The engine is located in the centre of gravity of the board and connected with fully enclosed screw-propeller with adjustable pitch which is installed in bottom tunnel in the aft deck. Adjustment of engine speed and screw pitch is executed by means of twist grips of motorcycle type located on beam-rail. Engine and board stop is automatic from the moment when sportsman takes away his (her) hand from the rail. Turns are made by board listing in direction of turning.

Surfer with electric drive

Surfer with electric drive

Surfer with electric drive includes board with a rudder connected to foot steering pedals and motor attached to a propelling screw from one side and to a battery unit from another side. Motor with propelling screw and rudder are located in rear section of the board. The upper part of surfer board is equipped with panel having battery charge indicator with power on/off indicator installed. Surfer is also provided with pneumatic damping knee-boards and throttle lever of thyristor control system. There is a pull handle on the left gripping handle to block movement. Rudder unit is installed on the projected part of rear section. Keel is placed in the bottom part of surfer to ensure stable sailing.
