SUBSTANCE: in the method of compaction of a hot asphalt-concrete mix by rolling with a road roller, which comprises four working elements that are combined in pairs as two balance trucks, mounted onto rotary platforms relative to the frame of the roller, compaction is carried out as a row of cycles. Each cycle in its first half consists in the fact that trucks are arranged at the edges of the compacted strip, and at the first stage they roll these edges, and subsequent stages are carried out by displacement of trucks towards each other with closure of the previously compacted division. The first half of the cycle is completed by rolling of the central part of the strip with tandem arrangement of balance trucks. The second half of the compaction cycle consists in reverse movement of trucks towards the edges of the strip. Full compaction of the strip is carried out in 2-3 cycles with preservation of the overlapping condition.

EFFECT: compaction of a strip is carried out simultaneously at its both edges by a single road roller, which increases efficiency of works.

The invention relates to the field of road construction, in particular to the technology of sealing surface of the road from the hot asphalt mixes and other similar bitumomineraljnykh materials.

In the world practice the seal of the pavement layers, arranged from the hot asphalt mixes, is self-propelled road rollers of different type and weight. These include rollers with smooth metal rollers both static and vibratory action, as well as rollers on the pneumatic tyres and combined. Last combine pneumatic and smooth metal rollers. Global industry produces a wide range named rinks, distinguished by weight and construction. This fact caused by the existing technology seal structural layers of the road service and a wide range of change of strength properties of sealing material. The problem is solved due to the fact that in the way that the seal of hot road concrete mix rolling through the roller, which contains four working body pairs are combined in two balance shafts truck mounted on rotating with respect to the frame of the rink platforms, compaction is carried out in the form of a series of cycles.
