SUBSTANCE: hand brake comprises a housing of a hand brake which has gear train components in it and a drive shaft, functionally connected with one or more gear train components. The intermediate pinion shaft is functionally connected to the drive shaft through one or more gears. The shaft alignment link is adapted to maintain the relative clearance between the drive shaft and the intermediate pinion shaft during the rotation of the drive shaft. The gearbox housing is intended for containing at least a portion of the drive shaft, an intermediate pinion shaft and a shaft alignment link therein. The shaft alignment link is movable relative to the gearbox housing due to any eccentric drive shaft movement, in order to maintain proper clearance between the drive shaft and the intermediate pinion shaft.

Parking brake comprises ratchet arranged on piston rod with brake drive thread to turn thereon, and pawl to be engaged with said pawl. Manual uncoupling gear for railway car parking brake comprises bracket, L-like cutout made in said bracket, elongated element of connection link, means for coupling second end of connection link with said brake drive, grip element and clamp means. Brake system comprises first and second spaced apart braking beams, first and second levers of force transfer, first and second force transfer means, and pusher rod. Parking brake manual uncoupler comprises valve arranged inside aforesaid hydraulic fluid line to communicate said brake with brake main line, and manual control means connected with said valve. Parking brake manual uncoupler comprises valve arranged inside aforesaid hydraulic fluid line to communicate said brake with brake main line, and manual control means connected with said valve. Valve inlet is directly communicated with brake main line.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to freight car, platform and not-self-propelled rolling stock parking brake. Parking brake comprises braking cylinder mounted at vehicle frame, braking leverage and two-arm lever. Two-arm lever pivot is secured in the frame bracket perpendicular to brake cylinder lengthwise axis. One end of two-arm lever is articulated via lengthwise link with worm wheel sector mounted on the frame to revolve thereat and engaged with self-braking worm at deflecting shaft driven by handwheel. Two-arm lever fork-shape second end grips the brake cylinder rod extending part with at least one ledge made thereat for fork to thrust thereon after talking up of clearance in handwheel rotation in parking brake tightening direction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway vehicles and is intended to anchor railway vehicles predominantly in recentring yard of distributing stations, while awaiting for hump marshalling or during manoeuvering. The method consists in actuating railway vehicles pneumatic brakes up to full discharge of braking line and maximum brake shoes pressing to wheel. After this, hand-brakes are applied at ends of train in which case the number of cars with hand-brakes applied is determined by their total braking force in static condition and depends on the weight of railway vehicles being anchored and on the rate of slope. When manoeuvering is required pneumatic brakes of the whole train are released manually by discharging working chambers of air distributors and moving the hand-brakes at train ends in released condition.
EFFECT: higher reliability railway vehicles anchoring, lower labor and material costs of service due to elimination of hand labor for braking shoes carrying and use of railway vehicles own braking system.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, namely, to manual brakes of railway vehicles. Proposed device comprises handwheel turning about bearing housing to apply and release manual brake, and optical indicator. Said optical element serves to indicate released or applied manual brake not to transmit or generate tightening or releasing force. Said optical indicator is arranged imaginary plane of cylinder of handwheel diametre.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and simple determination of manual brake state.

SUBSTANCE: freight car includes a body mounted on bogies interconnected with wheelset axle-boxes and an air brake system comprising a brake pipe, angle cock, air distributor, stand-by tank and air cylinder. The air cylinder interacts through the linkage with brake blocks mounted on hangers. The brake hangers are made in the form of double-arm levers hinged on the bogie. Some arms of the double-arm levers hold the brake block and the other arms are free to move in link slots rigidly fixed on spring-loaded rods of an auxiliary double-acting air cylinder connected by a pipeline with the stand-by tank. The auxiliary double-acting air cylinder body has an opening, where a wire rod is moving, which is connected to the angle cock control handle on one end and fitted with stop on the other end, this stop comes into contact with end faces of pistons of the aforesaid auxiliary air cylinder, when the brake is exhausted.
EFFECT: elimination of possible self-movement of single freight cars and trains, when the brake is exhausted and there are no brake shoes under the wheels.
FIELD: railway transport; brake systems.
SUBSTANCE: method comes to isolation of control devices by means of disconnecting components in left control station and connecting with proper main lines in control station set into operation. Special units are installed in each control station including three-way locking units equipment with pneumatic latches and electric contactor elements to which corresponding taps of control devices and main lines are connected. Provision is made in left control station for reduction of adequate tap of driver's brake valve and simultaneous isolation of auxiliary brake valve from like main line by adequate of three-way locking unit by means of switch-handle. Clearing of control devices in control station set into operation is effected by discrete setting of three-way locking unit to isolate similar tap of driver's brake valve and communicating simultaneously auxiliary brake with like main line. Input unions of three-way locking units are connected with taps of driver's brake valve connected with supply main line. Opposite input unions of three-way locking units are connected with main line of auxiliary brake. Output unions of three-way locking units are connected with output taps of auxiliary brake valve.
EFFECT: provision of adequate locking of brakes and possibility of reduction of branch of driver's brake valve by means of standard three-way locking unit.
FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brake systems of railway traction vehicles, mainly, locomotives, motor cars and special self-propelled trains with more than one control posts. Possibility of control of railway vehicle brakes is defined by main procedure at which driver's valves are disconnected and connected to brake main line at inoperative and operating control posts, respectively. If necessary, additional operations are carried out, i.e. auxiliary brake valves are disconnected and connected with main line of brake cylinders in similar manner. These procedures provide possibility of switching on traction. Forced execution of said main procedure is provided for which purpose atmospheric cocks are installed by means of which main line taps of driver's valves are connected to and disconnected from atmosphere from inoperative and operating control posts. Charging of brake main line provides possibility of switching on traction only from operating control post which is provided by checking position of plug of atmospheric cock. If said additional procedure is to be executed, it is carried out together with carrying out of main procedure.
EFFECT: prevention of narrowing of channels to pass compressed air, provision of possibility of creation of traction only when brake main line is charged.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling stock brakes controlled via radio channel. Control system comprises locomotive half-set (1) and car half set (14). Locomotive half-set (1) comprises signal converter (12) with output connected to data transfer input of train radio communication radio station (9). Converter input is connected with locomotive braking controller (2). Besides, it comprises radio metre and hectometre waveband channels selector (13). Selector I/O is connected with appropriate I/O of radio modem (8), selector output is connected with train radio (9) communication radio station input. Car half-set comprises hectometre receiver (19) with output connected with computer (15).
EFFECT: redundancy and duplication of brake control channels, higher safety and reliability.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control over train brakes. In control over higher tonnage and length train brakes brake pressure is distributed uniformly over the whole rolling stock. Brake signal is transmitted from locomotive to all cars via radio channel. Car bake kinetic energy is converted into electric power to be used in response to said electric signal for car air brake assy control for uniform braking of the whole rolling stock.
EFFECT: uniform force distribution over brake pads, decreased braking length, electric power saving.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to freight train brake systems. Proposed method consists in charging the brake with compressed air and braking by increasing and decreasing air pressure in brake line, and locking braking cylinder rod after braking. Then, in car motion independent of locomotive, the brake is charged and released, air exhaust from brake line is stopped by shutoff element to impart kinetic energy to the car. Note here that braking is carried out in zone of expected stop by interaction of said shutoff element with actuator pre-arranged in said zone.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly, to railway transport braking equipment. Proposed method consists in that, after sending instruction for train last car braking from engineman cabin to last car control unit, rail brake shoes are downed on rails between center of gravity of the car and last mounted axle. Fail-safe linearly increasing deceleration force for last car is generated and transmitted via last car coupler to ahead cars of the train. Braking force transmitted from last car coupler transducer is operated at threshold braking force transmitted to ahead cars. Simultaneously, last car coupler transducer sends instruction via pulsed force blocking link to actuators of last but one car for it to down shoes on rail heads. Further, above operations are repeated for third, fourth, fifth and next cars from train tail unless braking of train locomotive. After elimination of braking cause, instruction is generated to up shoes in preset position. Now, train goes on running along preset route.
EFFECT: higher safety.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway transport, particularly to automatic brakes for freight trains with car truck equipped with separate braking system. Braking lever transmission comprises brake cylinder articulated with horizontal lever with the help of link. Horizontal lever is articulated with dead point ear, self-regulator and self-regulator drive. Distance between dead point ear fixed hinge center, one the side of horizontal lever relative to horizontal lever, and brake cylinder rod axis is equal to or greater by 10% of distance b between center of pivot joint of horizontal lever with brake cylinder rod and the center of dead point ear moving hinge axle on horizontal lever. With brake cylinder zero protrusion, angle a between axis of symmetry of horizontal lever and that of dead point ear located on the side of brake cylinder is an acute angle.
EFFECT: minimised loss of force transferred from brake lever transmission to that of car truck, ruling out brake cylinder lever transmission jamming.

SUBSTANCE: braking method involves subsequent supply of control command of actuators of the train carriages for emergency braking, lowering of brake shoes on rails, subsequent detachment of coupling devices from carriage frames, control of damping force with throttle device of carriages till the train fully stops. After the reason which caused an emergency stop of the train is eliminated, the train is moved backwards as per the locomotive driver's command by coupling the carriages of the train, and the train starts according to the chosen route. Device includes two-rail brake shoes, two-sided adjustable damping device, coupling devices and devices for setting the emergency braking algorithm of the train, which have self-rolling bobbins with conducting ropes wound on them and on the ends of which there are inter-carriage contact elements, nipple devices for developing uninterrupted pneumatic pipeline from the locomotive to the last carriage of the train. Self-rolling bobbins are installed on movable platforms spring-loaded with return springs and having the formers supplying the commands of subsequent braking of the train carriages, starting from the last but one carriage and further to the train head end till it fully stops.
EFFECT: fail-safe movement of trains.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway vehicles. Dumper car consists of body, trucks with wheels, wheel axle journals being fitted in axle boxes (4), and air operated braking system. At least one of axles (4) accommodates hydraulic cylinder (8) communicated with spare reservoir, cylinder rods braking wheel pair via levers (18) and shoes (19). Pistons 9 of pneumatic cylinder (8) are loaded by compression spring (10) and can be pin-jointed together. When dumper car is uncoupled from locomotive for long, brakes get exhausted, shoes (19) are forced by spring (10) into space between axle box and hub to rule out wheel rotation.
EFFECT: higher reliability.
SUBSTANCE: end valve incorporates a body with the valve open state closed state seats, manual drive and shutoff member, linked to the said manual drive and arranged in the body space to move lengthwise to tightly cover the said seats in turn. The shutoff member represents a cavity two-seat plate rigidly linked, on one side, to the push-rod and covered, on the other side, by an inner O-ring. The said two-seat plate is furnished, on the end valve open state seat side, with an outer O-ring with an elastic annular lug arranged along its outer diameter and, on the other side, is it closed by the inner C-section O-ring. The head surface abutting on the inner O-ring has a through groove communicating the body cavity with the two-seat plate space.
EFFECT: high-reliability of interaction of shutoff member elements between themselves and with those of the end valve in its opening/closing processes.

SUBSTANCE: driver's brake valve incorporates a pressure relay connected via a check valve and throttling orifice to a surge tank, a supercharge pressure stabilizer and a manual control element, a remote brake control extension panel. A feed line communicates via a channel with the control element, while the pressure pickup communicates with the pressure relay surge space. The electrical and air-operated gates windings are connected to the outputs of control unit connected to the pressure pickup output and the braking control system. SUBSTANCE: proposed device relates to electrically driven transport facilities, particularly, to railway transport facilities. Device comprises first, not emergency, electric brake integrated in traction circuit, and second, emergency, brake. Besides, it comprises element to switch from first brake to second brake, device to control first brake operation efficiency with the help of current measurement data, device to decide on switching from first brake to second brake in exceeding preset threshold, and device to switching to, at least, one switching element.
EFFECT: controlled moment of braking at high speed, decrease overall dimensions.
