SUBSTANCE: heater of liquid or gaseous media comprises a chimney and a housing in which a heat exchanger in the form of U-shaped tubes with the inlet and outlet of heated product and a heat generator, equipped with an outlet flange and including a burner device, a flame tube and a batch of smoke tubes, a common lens fire tube compensator and a second removable heat exchanger located in the housing symmetrically with the first heat exchanger relative to the heat generator, are arranged. Each of the heat exchangers is fixed to the housing through a common flange provided with full-flow inlet and outlet nozzles. The batch of smoke tubes of heat generator is connected to the output flange through a common lens fire tubes compensator.

EFFECT: increase the convenience of its maintenance by increasing the heat exchange surface and maximizing the use of heat flow from the burner device, expanding the arsenal of funds of a similar purpose.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to methods of removal of low-grade heat from the power systems of spacecrafts (SC). The method of operating a drip refrigerator-emitter (DRE) comprises heating the coolant, its transformation into a stream of droplets cooled by radiation in outer space, collection of droplets and feeding the condensate to the power system. In the first embodiment, the stream of droplets is affected by the external electric field, the parameters of which are changed along the trajectory of flying of the SC. In the second embodiment, the stream of droplets is affected by the flow of charged particles, which parameters are changed along the trajectory of flying of SC. In the third embodiment, in the stream of droplets near their collection the gas is injected with low electric resistance. The injection intervals correspond to the time of charge accumulation on the droplet, and the injection rate is changed along the trajectory of flying of the SC. In the fourth embodiment, the gas with low electrical resistance is dissolved in the liquid coolant of DRE. Depending on the purpose of SC and parameters of DRE it is possible to use each of the proposed methods of operating DRE, or any their combination.

EFFECT: decrease of defection of droplets from straight-line trajectories and thus reduction of loss of coolant to ensure more efficient and reliable operation of DRE.

SUBSTANCE: heater comprises heating units, each of which is located around the heated pipeline and comprises the heat insulating layer with the electrical heating element built in it, connected to current-carrying wires. The heating unit located at the beginning part of the pipeline is formed as a heat exchanger with the intermediate coolant using the thermal energy of the condenser of superheated steam of the nuclear reactor. Each subsequent heating unit is provided with a temperature sensor of the pipeline wall electrically connected to the control processor located in a control unit of the maritime platform. The heating element of each heating unit comprises a mechanism of start and stop of contact with current-carrying wires interconnected with the control processor. The pipeline with the heating sections and current-conductive elements are placed in a single heat insulated casing.

A system operating as per Rankine organic cycle and intended for recovery and use of waste heat supplied from a waste heat source by means of a closed circuit of working fluid medium includes at least one evaporator. In addition, the above evaporator includes a surface-treated substrate for contribution to bubble boiling of working fluid medium to provide restriction of working fluid medium temperature to the value below the specified temperature. Besides, the evaporator is made so that evaporation of working fluid medium is provided by using waste heat supplied from the waste heat source.

FIELD: spacecraft temperature control systems; removal of low-potential heat from on-board systems of spacecraft.

SUBSTANCE: proposed trickling cooler-radiator includes heat-transfer agent storage and delivery system, drop generator with acoustic oscillation exciting element, drop collector, transfer pumps and pipe lines. Trickling cooler-radiator is provided with heat stabilization system including heaters mounted on structural members of cooler-radiator and thermostatting units made in form of shield-vacuum insulation of these members. Said system is also provided with bypass pipe line laid between drop generator and collector and provided with volumetric expansion compensator (with electric heater) and automatic temperature control unit ensuring operation of heaters by signals from respective sensors. To reduce emission of heat-transfer agent, trickling cooler-radiator is provided with hydraulic accumulators at drop generator inlet and at drop accumulator outlet. Passages of output grid of drop generator have geometric and hydraulic characteristics varying from axis of symmetry towards periphery for smooth distribution of temperature field. Drop collector may be passive with inner surface formed by walls of one or several slotted passages through which heat-transfer agent is delivered for forming moving film.

FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to temperature control, and namely to discharge devices of low-potential heat from systems of space vehicles. Refrigerator-emitter includes heat carrier storage and supply system, drop generator, passive drop header, transfer pump, pipelines, heaters of structural elements and heat stabilisation system. Drop generator has excitation element of acoustic vibrations and outlet grid. Slot channels of passive drop header are equipped with separate heat carrier feed lines. Each line has on-off valve and automatic flow control. Bypass circuit of transfer pump is provided with the latter as well. Automatic flow controls installed at inlets of slot channels, in bypass circuit of the pump and in drop generator circuit are connected through recording and control unit to optic sensors. Those sensors are installed in the following way: one - near the neck of drop header, the other - at some distance from the first one, which is bigger than distance between centres of drops in direction of their movement at least by five times. Opening angle of drop header is within the range of 40°…70°. The above version of the device allows quick control of total heat carrier flow rate through drop header, thus providing normal pump operation and continuous stable operation of the whole header.

EFFECT: stabilisation of operation of drop refrigerator-emitter as a whole, improving its reliability and efficiency.

FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: thermal diode is meant for primary heat transfer in one direction. It consists of an aluminium heat pipe covered with an oxide layer with thickness of not more than 20 nm and a heat pipe having the surface satisfactorily absorbing heat emission. Space between heat pipes is transparent for heat radiation. Increased temperature is supplied to the aluminium heat pipe at diode operation in forward direction. As a result, the heated layer emits heat radiation wholly absorbed with the surface. At backward diode connection, considerable part of the heat radiation emitted with the surface penetrates through the layer and interferes with the flow reflected back from metal. An oxide layer that found itself in the occurred standing wave node looses the possibility of absorbing an electromagnetic energy.

EFFECT: simple design and high rectifying effect.
