SUBSTANCE: screening method includes the following steps: a) dividing the inner surface of the backlight module without a phosphorous-based optical film into several measurement zones and obtaining a transmission spectrum of each of the measurement zones; b) obtaining a chromaticity value of each of the measurement zones coinciding with the optical film based on phosphorus; c) checking the chromaticity values obtained in step b) in the interval of standard chromaticity; wherein the screening process is completed if all chromaticity values are in such an interval; matching at least one measurement area with the new phosphorous-based optical film if the chromaticity value of this at least one of the measurement zones is not in the interval and returning to step b).
EFFECT: increased saturation of backlight with deeper penetration and improved colour uniformity.

SUBSTANCE: method of modulating light includes forming a magnetoplasmon crystal based on a periodically nanostructured dielectric array with a spatial period d, sputtering thereon layers of ferromagnetic and noble metals, as well as dielectrics, illuminating the magnetoplasmon crystal with light and applying a magnetic field. An alternating magnetic field is applied in the form of equatorial Kerr effect.

The method of generating electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range comprises interaction of directed exciting radiation with the active medium of a sample and obtaining secondary electromagnetic radiation. The active medium of the sample used is material with topological insulator properties, wherein excitation is carried out with pulsed radiation with exciting pulse duration τ=10-12-10-14 s, pulse energy Epul=10-5-10-2 J and wavelength λexc=350-5000 nm, wherein the exciting radiation is directed on the plane of the sample with active medium at an angle α≠90°. The active medium used can be a thin film or crystal of bismuth selenide (Bi2Se3) or bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3). The detecting element used can be zinc telluride (ZnTe).
EFFECT: enabling monitoring and control of generation parameters when exciting materials with topological insulator properties.

The polymer sheets used are two sheets of a transparent material, one of which is coated with an elastic polymer in the form of points with size of less than 30 mcm, followed by polymerisation thereof, joining with another sheet by stacking, followed by sealing the periphery and feeding into the space between the films through a valve a coloured optically transparent working fluid for controlling the degree of light transmission through inlet and outlet thereof. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sorting of particles, particularly, to process for qualification of ACS for inspection and sorting of particles by feed of preset amount of granular particles to processed flow. Besides, it relates to production and qualification of granular particles that have at least one property, magnitude or range of magnitudes approximating to those of appropriate properties of known undesirable particles. Proposed method comprises the steps that follow. Produced are multiple particles that feature identical shape and size distribution. Conformal surface ply is formed on said particles to get granular particles with coating to impart at least one property with magnitude or range of magnitudes approximating to those of undesirable particles. Multiple granular particles are added to processed flow including multiple particles subjected to processing by inspection and sorting ACS. Said ACS is programmed for selective removal from processed flow of granular particles that feature the preset properties of the range of said properties. Granular particles detected and removed from ACS processing flow are memorised.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to measurement equipment and can be used for automatic determination of metal concentration in ore. According to the method before control of grade of ore, ore passes through conveyor without metal impurities. For heating, area thermal source is used, which width does not exceed conveyor width. After time τspec when heating is finished, measured is average value of temperature based on heated surface of ore without metal T1av. Based on these measurements, formed is calibration curve. Then ore containing metal is continuously supplied to conveyor and heated. After time τspec average value of temperature Tavi is measured on each i frame. Value Tavi-T1av is determined based on calibration curve. Using value (Tavi-T1av), determined is percentage of metal in ore. Besides, a device for implementation of the above method is proposed.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method exploits the device for sorting out of separate structures 3.1 of loose materials 3 at conveyor 1 and controlled discharging fractionator 2. Sorting out criterion represents the distribution of structure 3.1 over height and the propagation of light from source 4. Light band 4.1 is projected across loose material conveyance direction onto conveyor plane 1 while structures 3.1 are displaced under light band 4.1. Light first part 4.1.1 is reflected by said structure. Light second part 4.1.2 enters the structure at inlet point 3.1.1 to get dissipated and to exit at point 3.1.2. Broadening B of light band due to dissipation is detected by chamber 9. Coherent areas are identified in buffered lines BZ. Measured magnitudes are analysed and converted into attribute symbols. Depending on preset parameters of sorting out aforesaid discharging fractionator 2 is actuated.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and sorting device for sorting potato products transported in the form of a product flow through a detection zone in which the products with defects are found in the product flow and removed from the product flow. Onto the said products in the detection zone the light beam is directed having a wavelength of 350-450 nm, and the intensity of light emitted by the products in the detection band from 460 nm to 600 nm is measured, at that the product is qualified as a product having defects and is removed from the product flow, if the said intensity is lower than the predetermined value. Proposed device comprises housing, inclined flute with grain paths, means to feed grain to said flute, optical detectors including grain illuminators and control system. Rejected grain discharge hole is arranged under aforesaid means to force rejections into container. Intake flute is arranged at lower section of aforesaid flute with its lower end located above cleaned grain intake container. Detectors are composed of video cameras built around matrix with charge link. One of said cameras is arranged perpendicular to inclined flute while second one is inclined thereto. Means to feed grain to flute is composed of trough connected via crank gear with motor. Inclined flute and trough have triangular guides secured thereat. Grain rejection device is composed of crank gear engaged with motor and provided with piston-type striker.

The grain is separated on-line, i.e. during operation of the device, on the basis of the parameter value of grain or each parameter value of grain.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of mineral contaminants from calcium carbonate ores of sedimentary and metamorphic origin, said, limestone, chalk and marble. Proposed method comprises grinding and sorting calcium carbonate rocks to particle size 1 mm to 250 mm by means of appropriate device. Said device is located downstream of detection zone and controlled by computer-based estimation device in response to sensor signals obtained on radiation of radiation into flow of said particles. Note here that said radiation is emitted by X-ray source and recorded by, at least, one sensor. Note here that X-ray radiation passed through, at least, two filters with respect to power spectra. Said filters are arranged upstream of, at least, one sensor and sensor lines with multiple individual pixels positioned across the flow of particles. The proposed method comprises illumination of a mixture with visible radiation, determination of the spectral composition of the reflected color, separating the mixture into fractions for specific ranges of the spectrum of the reflected color. The mixture is preliminary dried to certain humidity; the surface of each grain is cleaned from the pollen grains, distributed on coordinate holes, flattening of each granule is carried out, and then the spectral image of the entire community is created. Separation of the mixture into fractions is carried out taking into account preliminary compiled reference to the area of the apiary location and the calendar of flowering the pollen plants contained in the mixture.
EFFECT: invention provides safety of pollen pellets granules, improves the quality of their separation into factions.
FIELD: mining industry; diamonds mining.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertinent to mining industry, in particular, to diamonds mining. The technical result of the invention is increase of electrical safety of a separator and reliability of its operation with simultaneous decrease of weight and dimensions of a power supply source for an X-ray tube. The separator contains a device of loading of a feed stock, a chute for delivery of the feed stock in a zone of detection of a required product, an X-ray tube connected to a source of its power supply, a photomultiplier, a block of control and data processing, a device for separation of a target product and a device for separate collection of the target and the end products. The source of power supply for the X-ray tube contains a transducer of mains voltage into low-voltage high-frequency voltage, a high-voltage transformer and a voltage multiplier. At that the high-voltage transformer and the voltage multiplier and also the X-ray tube are placed in a hermetic body filled in with a high-voltage insulating substance. One wall of the body has an opening, in which there is a fixed anode of the X-ray tube, which window for pass of the X-rays protrudes beyond the limits of the body.
EFFECT: the invention ensures electrical safety of a separator and reliability of its operation with simultaneous decrease of weight and dimensions of a power supply source for an X-ray tube.
