Described is the application of the disulphonic fluorescent bleaching agent derivative of bis-triazinylaminostilbenes, containing in aniline rings the group -COOM in a para- and/or ortho-position to an aminogroup, where M is hydrogen, Li, Na, K, Ca, Mg, ammonium or ammonium, which is mono-, di-, tri- or tetrasubstituted with C1-C4-alkyl or C2-C4-hydroxyalkyl, for the clarification of the coating compositions.
