SUBSTANCE: device for local drilling of reactor setting graphite column tracts includes bearing rod with rotary drive, driven shaft, mechanism of rotation and simultaneous supply of cutter. The bearing rod is connected through a shaft disposed inside with a cylindrical cutter head consisting of three conical wheels, one of which is integral with the shaft and fixed in the housing on bearings, and the second conical wheel is meshed with the first one and is mounted on the axis perpendicular to the first wheel axis. The third conical wheel mounted on the needle rollers on the axis, which has a possibility to pivotally oblique from the axis of the rod and is coupled to the second wheel, is connected to the deflecting cutter axis, which is pivotally connected to a rod that is moved along the shaft axis by a screw-nut pair.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to carry out local drilling of graphite column tracts, excluding the impact on the graphite masonry.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for safety ensuring devices when transferring spent fuel assemblies of a VVER 1000 reactor from transport covers to storage covers and is intended to be used in water-filled storages of spent nuclear fuel as an emergency tool. A collection device of spilt spent nuclear fuel pellets includes a bar in the lower part of which a provision is made for a collector with an open lower part in which a soft elastic material is arranged, above which a displacer is installed, which is connected to a stock located inside the bar. In the displacer there are holes in which holders included in the soft elastic material are installed with a gap and attached to the collector. Scriptural plasticine is used as a soft elastic material. A net incorporated into the soft elastic material is attached with threads to the holders in the lower part. Total breaking force of threads does not exceed movement force of the displacer with the stock. The lower surface of the soft elastic material is located above the lower end face of the collector by 0.2-0.3 of diameter of a pellet at collection of non-destructed pellets and flush with the lower end face of the collector at collection of the destructed ones.

SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises grippers arranged at lower section of bars located at hoisting gear by means of front-end tool. Said grippers are equipped with collets to be fitted in guide ducts of used reactor fuel assemblies. Collet stems are screwed on bar adapters and provided with brackets while conical rods connected to bar adapters are fitted inside said collets. The quantity of grippers is selected proceeding from the force of engagement between collets and guide channels, weight of used fuel rod array and durability of guide channels.

EFFECT: possibility of removal of fuel rod array from transportation jackets and fitting it in storage jacket.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of ensuring safety when reloading spent fuel assemblies of the VVER-100 reactor from transfer baskets into storage covers, and is intended for use in water-filled spent nuclear fuel storages as an emergency tool. The apparatus for collecting spills of spent nuclear fuel pellets comprises a bar mounted on a hoisting apparatus with a protective cup mounted in the lower part of said bar. A collector, having a receiving tray and a dispensing tray, is mounted between plates of the cup such that it can be rotated by torsional springs. A scraper is mounted in the receiving tray such that it can be rotated by torsional springs, and the force of the torsional springs of the collector is greater than that of the torsional springs of the scraper. A rope is tied to the scraper, said rope being connected to a drive which is mounted in the top part of the bar. A funnel is placed on the rotation path of the dispensing tray. The drive of the scraper used is a handle - lift latch, which is movable on a longitudinal groove in the bar and fixed in transverse grooves connected to the longitudinal groove.

EFFECT: facilitating the unloading of collected pellets into a container, minimal maintenance.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to facilities for ensuring safety in process of handling of ampoules with bundles of spent fuel elements of a high-power channel-type reactor RBMK-1000 into cases and is designed for use in a case assembling chamber (CAC) of a dry storage or at an NPP as an emergency tool. The device comprises a weight-lifting device (a bridge non-following electromechanical manipulator), installed in the case assembling chamber and a grip installed in a cavity of a sleeve, with sliding tabs inserted into its radial slots and controlled by a stem installed inside the sleeve. The sleeve is made as capable of its insertion into the ampoule lid with closed tabs, fixation of the sleeve in it with tabs open and is equipped with a fork, in the slot of which on the axis there is a head tail installed, which follows in its shape the ampoule lid, besides, the head tail is installed as capable of head rotation relative to the sleeve with a controlled force of 5-15 kg.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to remotely engage and lift ampoules loaded with a bundle of fuel elements, if an ampoule drops when handled in a CAC.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety measures in transfer of used fuel rod arrays from transport shells into those of storage and may be used in water-filled used nuclear fuel storages at nuclear fuel recovery plants, or at nuclear power stations as emergency tools. Proposed device comprises receiving pool, moving platform with running arranged thereunder, lifting device, protective barrel with chamber open on pool side, grip arranged inside said barrel and jointed to bar lower part, bar being mounted on lifting devices, and rod reciprocation drive arranged inside said barrel. Said grip is furnished with fixed and moving jaws, fixed jaws are secured to protective barrel while moving jaws are articulated with cross-arm and fitted in inclined grooves of guide ribs connected to aforesaid barrel. Mating bearing surfaces of jaws are composed of corrugated inclined surfaces with equal angle of inclination.

Gripping device is suspended on two independent ropes on twin pulley blocks inside protective chamber. Protective housing is installed in through hole of the roofing; a groove is made in upper end face of protective housing, into which protective plate is installed, with possibility of regulating its position. Gaps between protective housing and protective plate are filled with biological protection. Lifting winch blocks are installed on protective plate and consist of three groups of pair blocks.

EFFECT: invention allows improving the reliability and radiation safety of operation when transferring the covers with spent nuclear fuel.

SUBSTANCE: device for lifting and moving spent fuel assemblies includes receiving basin, movable platform with undercarriage, which is installed above receiving basin, lifting device, protective shell having the cavity opened on the basin side, and the grip installed in the cavity of protective shell. The latter with the grip installed in its cavity is connected to lower part of the rod installed on lifting device. Grip is provided with drive with back-and-forth movement of stock, which is arranged in cavity of protective shell; grip lugs envelope the cap of collecting device. The latter is made in the form of a hollow parallelepiped with two scrapers with pins.

EFFECT: remote collection of spilt spent nuclear fuel pellets from the bottom of the receiving basin to collecting vessels and remote detachment of collecting vessels with pellets for their well-disposed and safe storage in collecting vessels or containers in the basin till the pellets are processed.

Facility is arranged with the possibility to support facility (58) of container chamber sealing inside cover at the distance from input hole of chamber in process of loading. Supporting facility (56) comprises the first lever (60). Lever (60) is arranged with the possibility to rotate around the first axis. FIELD: nuclear physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to atomic power engineering, particularly to methods of handling spent nuclear fuel (SNF), and can be used in replacing defective canisters of radiation-exposed (spent) fuel assemblies (REFA), stored in dry storages of spent nuclear fuel above the ground. Flaw detection (control) of radiation-exposed fuel assemblies, which allows for assessing their state, is done on objective indicators - values of pulling forces of radiation-exposed fuel assemblies from defective canisters. Values of these forces were chosen empirically and then confirmed experimentally. Further, the technical outcome is achieved due to localisation of the recanistering section and flaw detection of the radiation-exposed fuel assemblies in the storage using a device for additional radiation protective covering the recanistering working area. Surface contamination of the storage with radioactive substances and release of radionuclides from the storage is reduced, as well as the dose of gamma-radiation absorbed by service personnel due to cutting on time the radiation-exposed fuel assemblies spend outside the canister and prevention of spillage of spent nuclear fuel, and, consequently, radiation and environmental safety is increased when reloading (recanistering) radiation-exposed fuel assemblies into conditioning canisters.

EFFECT: increased reliability and safety of transporting and further treatment of radiation-exposed fuel assemblies on processing plants.

SUBSTANCE: system for core drilling of an underground bed that surrounds a well shaft comprises: a body of a tool designed for installation in the well shaft near the shaft tunnelling bed for core extraction, a motor, a rotation drive head connected with a motor, a rotary tool. The rotary tool is connected with the rotation drive head with one end and carries a drilling bit on the other end. The drive mechanism comprising an anchor joint for fixation in the well shaft and an axial drive for displacement of the tool body and the rotary tool. The tool comprises a guide for pushing the rotary tool aside from the well shaft into the surrounding bed. At the same time the rotary tool is a tubular tool of core drilling, which carries a circular drilling bit. The hollow shaft stretching from the rotation drive head into the tool body. The motor is connected with the external surface of the hollow shaft for the rotation head drive. Also comprises a coupling of alignment linkage that surrounds the shaft.

Mechanism of rotation and simultaneous supply of pipe-like mill includes supply wheel, at least two transmitting sleeves and driven hollow shaft connected with each other and with pipe-like mill by means of ball joint drive containing hollow joints with cone cavities on ball-shaped head, nutted-up stops are located in the cavities. Channel system is formed by pipe-like mill, hollow joints, transmitting sleeves and driven hollow shaft.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed to cut cores from well walls or channels and can be used in nuclear engineering to cutting graphite cores from channel-type uranium-graphite reactor lining. Proposed device comprises bearing rod with rotary drive, tubular cutter, and tubular cutter rotation-and-feed mechanism. The latter consists of drive bevel gear interacting with hollow gear shaft and fixed sleeve with outer thread arranged inside said hollow gear shaft. Note here that tubular cutter represents a sleeve with inner thread screwed on aforesaid fixed sleeve.

EFFECT: ease of cutting complete cores over entire width of graphite block at 90° to block location without using whatever means capable of destructing or fouling cores.
