SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a block-copolymer which is suitable for toughening an epoxy resin, to a curable polymer composition for fibre-reinforced composite materials and to a composite material. Block-copolymer has at least one block made from thermoplastic aromatic polymer (A), which has a glass transition temperature (Tg) of at least, 150 °C, and at least one block obtained from polymer (B) with glass transition temperature in range from -130 °C to +40 °C. Polymer (A) is soluble in precursor of uncured epoxy resin and contains one or more polysulphones containing ether-linked repeating units. Polymer (B) is a saturated aliphatic polyester. Polymer (B) is insoluble in precursor of uncured epoxy resin. Curable polymer composition contains said block-copolymer, one or more uncured precursors of epoxy resin and curing agent. Composite material contains carbon fibre reinforcing agent and said polymer composition.

EFFECT: invention improves impact viscosity of epoxy resin at relatively low concentrations of reinforcing agent, and improves properties of carbon fibre composites.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a thermoplastic moulding composition, having resistance to deformation of moulded articles, which are used to make reflectors (headlights), e.g. in the automobile industry. The moulding composition contains components A, B and C, and if necessary, components D and E. The moulding composition contains at least one polyether sulphone (component A) which contains repeating units of the reduced formula (1). Component (B) is at least one polysulphone which contains repeating units of the reduced formula (II). Component (C) is stearic acid and/or stearic acid derivatives. The moulding composition also, if necessary, contains other additives and auxiliary substances.

EFFECT: moulding composition has improved flowability, surface quality and notched impact strength.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to membrane equipment and may be used for fine filtration of diverse fluids in food industry, pharmaceutics, and medicine. Proposed composition comprises poly(arylene sulphone) in amount of 100 wt %, polyvinylamide in amount of 1.25-6.67, organic acid with ionisation constant of 1.8·10-5-6.0·10-2 - 200-300, and organic solvent in amount of 360-848.8 wt %. To obtain membrane, poly(arylene sulphone) and polyvinylamide are dissolved in organic solvent whereto organic acid is added additionally. Produced moulding solution is applied on moving surface at the rate of 0.5-1.5 m/min and cured in air at fixed relative humidity of air. Moulding is performed in precipitation bath containing 10-90% of water and 10-90% of one- or polyhydric alcohols.

EFFECT: higher strength and efficiency.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of producing gas-permeable membranes which can be used in fuel cells at high operating temperature (100°C and higher, methanol fuel cells, low- and high-pressure water electrolysis cells etc). The membrane is made from a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene with perfluorosulpho-containing vinyl ether and a tertiary modifying perfluorinated comonomer - perfluoro-2-methylene-4-methyl-1,3-dioxalane or perfluoroalkylvinyl ether containing 1 or 3 carbon atoms in the alkyl, and a polymeric or inorganic modifier. The method of making the membrane involves contacting a perfluorosulpho-cationite membrane with a liquid composition containing an ion-exchange perfluorosulpho-polymer, a polymeric or inorganic modifier and a solvent. The perfluorosulpho-polymer with functional sulpho-groups SO3M, where M is a hydrogen, ammonium or alkali metal ion, has equivalent mass of 800-900, and is similar on structure to the membrane polymer. Contacting is carried out at 18-80°C. Particles of the modifier are formed on the surface or inside the membrane at 18-120°C.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a photopolymerising composition. The composition contains polysulfone based on 2,2-bis(4-oxyphenyl)propane and 4,4'-dichlorodiphenylsulfone with molecular weight of 40000-56000, a solvent, a polymerisable compound and a photoinitiator. The solvent contained in the composition is styrene, the polymerisable compound is a product of reacting diacyl chloride of methyl-phosphonic acid with glycidyl methacrylate with molecular weight of 417.2 g/mol, with 17.03% and 7.43% content of chlorine and phosphorus respectively, and the photoinitiator is 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide. The components are in the following ratio (pts. wt): polysufone based on 2,2-bis(4-oxyphenyl)propane and 4,4'-dichlorodiphenylsulfone with molecular weight of 40000-56000 35-45, styrene 65-55, product of reacting diacyl chloride of methyl-phosphonic acid with glycidyl methacrylate with molecular weight of 417.2 g/mol, with 17.03% and 7.43% content of chlorine and phosphorus respectively 20-30, 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl diphenylphosphine oxide 3-5.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain low flammability materials, enables formation of a coating with thickness of 0,4-0,6 mm in a single process step with minimal percentage of volatile components.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of preparing nanocomposites based on polymers and nanosilicates modified with organic compounds with better strength characteristics, designed for making articles in electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. The method involves mixing in molten mass of polymer - polysulfone or polyamide and filler - montmorrilonite or bentonite with cation exchange capacity of 60 - 150 mg-eq/100 g. The filler which is in form of an aqueous dispersion with concentration of 1-7% is pre-modified with organic cations through mixing and then drying. The ionic surfactant used is alkylbenzyldimethylammonium chloride taken in amount of 40-150% of the cation exchange capacity of the filler.

EFFECT: method provides improved technological parametres, including higher modulus of elasticity.

The composition for a product with the reduced gas permeability contains a complex polyether, an ether and an ester copolymer and an oxidation catalyst, where the ether and the ester copolymer contains a zinc compound and at least one polyether unit, selected from the group, consisting of poly(tetramethylene ether) and poly(tetramethylene-co-alkylene ether), where the molecular weight of the said polyether unit is in the interval from approximately 200 g/mol to approximately 5000 g/mol and the said unit of polyether is present in a quantity from approximately 15 wt % to approximately 95 wt % of the said ether and ester copolymer. The invention additionally relates to the products, obtained from the composition, and the methods of obtaining the composition and products.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain the products, which have a short period of the oxygen absorption induction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to magnetic toner used in recording using electrophotography, electrostatic recording, printing or jet recording system using toner. The magnetic toner contains magnetic toner particles, each comprising a main magnetic toner particle which contains a binding polymer and a magnetic material, and an inorganic fine powder; (a) at frequency of 100 kHz and temperature of 30°C, the magnetic toner has dielectric loss coefficient (e") from 2.5x10-1 pF/m or more to 7.0x10-1 pF/m or less and dielectric loss tangent (tanδL) 3.0x10-2 or less; (b) the magnetic toner has, at its dielectric loss tangent (tand) at frequency of 100 kHz, a maximum value (tanδH) in the temperature interval from 60°C to 140°C; and tanδH and tanδL satisfy (tanδH-tanδL) ≤3.0x10-2.

EFFECT: magnetic toner has excellent charge stability and charge uniformity, maintains stable development characteristics irrespective of operating conditions and can, to a lesser degree, cause any reduction in image density and any image defects, such as fog and shadow.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a biodegradable mixed aliphatic-aromatic polyester suitable for an extrusion coating, which contains links formed from at least a dicarboxylic acid and at least a diol, with long-chain branches, and substantially free from gel, characterised by shear viscosity of 800-1600 Pa*s, heat-resistance constant of less than 1.5*10-4, melt strength of 2-4.5 g and ultimate elongation greater than 30. The biodegradable polyester can be obtained by reactive extrusion from a linear polyester precursor containing links formed by dicarboxylic acid and diol and having melt flow index from 5 g/10 min to 30 g/10 min and terminal unsaturation content of 0.1-1% mol/mol. The method is realised by adding peroxides, epoxides and carbodiimides. The invention also relates to a layered article consisting of at least a base and at least a first layer consisting of the polyester disclosed herein, an extensible film, multilayer films and a composition suitable for extrusion coating, which consists of a biodegradable mixed aliphatic-aromatic ester and polylactic acid.

EFFECT: obtaining biodegradable polyesters, having physical and chemical properties which enable to obtain thin films with high melt stability and high transparency.

The fire retardant composition contains a thermoplastic resin and a fire retardant. The thermoplastic resin used is an aliphatic polyester. The aliphatic polyester contains at least one compound selected from polylactic acid, polybutylene succinate, polycaprolactone, polytrimethylene terephthalate, and microbiologically produced polyhydroxyalkanoate. The fire retardant is obtained from phosphorated polysaccharide which is obtained by attaching thiophosphoric acid ester or phosphoric acid ester to a side chain of natural polysaccharide. The natural polysaccharide is selected from cellulose, chitin, chitosan, starch and derivatives thereof.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer chemistry, specifically to moulding articles made from a polymer composition containing an acrylic copolymer matrix and particles containing an inorganic oxide with weight-average particle size equal to or less than 400 nm. The polymer composition is obtained by polymerising a mixture of methylmethacrylate and one or more copolymerisable lower alkyl(alk)acrylate comonomers in the presence of said particles and a dispersant which contains an ethylenically unsaturated compound containing one ethylenically unsaturated bond. The polymer composition has weight-average molecular weight from 20000 to 250000 Da. Described also is a method of obtaining the polymer composition, a method of obtaining articles from the polymer composition and use of the articles in construction, lighting etc.

EFFECT: polymer composition, obtained in the presence of inorganic oxide particles with size less than 400 nm in the presence of a dispersant which contains an ethylenically unsaturated compound which contains one ethylenically unsaturated double bond, is characterised by higher chemical resistance and improved processability in a melt compared to a polymer composition which does not contain inorganic oxide particles.

SUBSTANCE: composition, which is catalysed by aluminium or one or more alkali-earth metals, or alkali metals to which a titanium compound is added, contains: a thermoplastic polyester polymer and a) at least one aluminium and a compound thereof, which form an aluminium cation, b) at least one alkali or alkali-earth metal and a compound of an alkali or alkali-earth metal, which form their cations, and c) particles containing titanium nitride. The particles are present in amount ranging from 1 ppm to 50 ppm of the total weight of the polyester composition and have average particle size ranging from 1 nm to 500 nm. The composition is obtained via polycondensation of molten polyester polymer in the presence of aluminium atoms and at least one atom of an alkali-earth or alkali metal. Further, titanium nitride particles are added to the polymer. A bottle preform is made from the polyester composition.

EFFECT: polymer and articles made from the polyester composition have excellent transparency and colour in addition to high rate of reheating and neutralisation of the yellow tint of the ready polymer.

SUBSTANCE: composition contains: (I) 55-75 wt % sodium silicate solution from Na2O and SiO2 in molar ratio 1:2.1 - 1:2.9; (II) 0.5-7 wt % carboxymethyl cellulose; (III) 0.7-10 wt % urethane resin from 70-80 wt % methylene diphenyl isocyanate and 20-30 wt % methylpolyglycol; (IV) 0.7-10 wt % mixture for producing acrylic resin; and (V) water - the rest. The mixture of acrylic resin (IV) consists of 36-40 wt % butylacrylate monomer, 10-13 wt % methylmethacrylate, 1-2 wt % emulsifying agent, 3-5 wt % acrylic acid and water - the rest. Said composition is obtained by mixing solution (I) and urethane resin (III). Further, the mixture of acrylic resin (IV) is prepared. The obtained mixture (IV) is slowly added to the mixture of solution (I) and urethane resin (III) and stirred. Carboxymethyl cellulose is added. Said composition is used to treat a laminate made from polyester through impregnation followed by dehydration and drying. The laminate is used a component which reduces noise, vibration and low-frequency effects.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an article made from polyester resin with high fire-resistance and which is safe for the environment and the human body.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rubber composition, in particular, for obtaining tyres or half-finished products for tyres. Rubber composition consists of at least diene elastomer, enhancing filler, cross-linking system, epoxy resin - from more than 1 to less than 20 phr and amine hardening agent - from more than 1 to less than 15 phr. Amine hardening agent is selected from the group, consisting of p-xilylenediamine, 1,3-bis(aminomethyl)cyclohexane, 1,8-diaminooctane, 3,3′-diaminobenzidine and their mixtures. Enhancing filler contains soot, silica or their mixture.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to provide high rigidity with low deformation without noticeable impairment of hysteresis.
