Modified rubber mother batch, and rubber mixture and vulcanized rubber made therefrom, and methods of their production
FIELD: rubber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to modified rubber master batch and its preparation method, rubber mixture, made from it, and vulcanized rubber and method of their production. Modified rubber mixture consists of non-cross-linked rubber and synthetic particles and/or natural rubber, having radiation cross-linked structure, dispersed in it, with average cross-linked rubber particles size from 20 to 500 nm and gel content of 60 wt% or more. Non-cross-linked rubber is styrene-butadiene rubber. Weight ratio of rubber particles, having radiation cross-linked structure, to non-cross-linked rubber ranges from more than 20:80 to less than or equal to 80:20. Rubber mixture contains mixture of modified rubber component and base rubber, in which modified rubber mother batch is present in amount from 1 to 70 weight parts per 100 weight parts of base rubber.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce rolling resistance, increase slippage resistance on wet road and increase vulcanized rubber mixture wear resistance.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a modifier, a method of obtaining a modified polymer and the modified polymer of a conjugated diene. The modifier for the polymer of the conjugated diene is obtained as a result of the complete condensation for a silicon-containing compound, which has a protected primary amino group and hydrolysable groups. The method of obtaining the modified polymer based on the conjugated diene includes a stage of modification and stage of the protection withdrawal. The tage of the protection is carried out after the completion of modification, and the used polymer based on the conjugated diene is preferably such that 10% of its polymer chains possess live and pseudolive properties.
EFFECT: modified polymer based on the conjugated diene is characterised by an excellent ability of small heat release and resistance to abrasion, which is used in a caoutchouc composition for the pneumatic tread.

SUBSTANCE: bitumen composition includes petroleum road bitumen BND 90/130, SKS-30ARKM-15 or SKS-30ARK rubber and polyethylene polyamine production wastes as an adhesive additive, with the following ratio of components, wt %: BND 90/130 bitumen - 83-93, SKS-30ARKM-15 rubber - 5-10 and polyethylene polyamine production wastes - 2-7 or BND 90/130 bitumen - 86-95, SKS-30ARK rubber - 3-7 and polyethylene polyamine production wastes - 2-7. The method of producing the bitumen composition is carried out by mixing bitumen while heating with a rubber-containing component and an adhesive additive, wherein the rubber is added in the form of 8-12% solution in an organic solvent, wherein the solvent used is hydrocarbons with final boiling point of no higher than 130°C. Preparation of the rubber solution in the solvent is carried out at 40-50°C while mixing for 5-6 hours. The obtained rubber solution and adhesive additive are then added to the bitumen. The mixture is homogenised for 3-4 hours while gradually raising temperature to 160-170°C. Further mixing is carried out until achieving 97% removal of the solvent. The remaining amount of solvent is removed by blowing with nitrogen.
EFFECT: obtaining a homogenous bitumen binder, having improved physical and mechanical properties.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of moulded articles containing polybutadiene and can be used in tire production as moulded strips for tire sidewalls or treads. Polybutadiene with content of cis-isomer over 95% and polydispersity lower than 2.5 is mixed with highly dispersed silicic acid and/or carbon black and with cross-linking agents, sulphur or sulphur donors, extra process additive and subjected to extrusion at 40-75°C.
EFFECT: higher quality of processing the mixes and quality of formed articles with lower rolling resistance and abrasion.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to silane-containing caoutchouc mixtures with functionalised diene caoutchoucs and microgels, to method of their obtaining and application in automobile tyres. Caoutchouc mixture, containing caoutchouc, functionalised with hydroxyl, and/or carboxyl groups, and/or their salts, contains caoutchouc from repeating units based on 1,3-butadiene and styrene and silane of the given formula. Caoutchouc mixture can contain styrene-butadiene gel with index of swelling in toluene 1-25 and size particle from 5 to 1000 nm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain resistant to wet sliding and possessing low rolling resistance - resistance in the process of steering of automobile tyre-treads with high wear-resistance.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing conjugated diene rubber includes: (a) a step of reacting a first alkoxysilane compound whose molecule contains a group which can be converted to an onium ion by an onium ion generator, and an alkoxysilyl group which contains two alkoxy groups with a conjugated diene polymer which contains an active terminal atom of an alkali metal or an alkali-earth metal. The polymer is obtained by polymerising a conjugated diene compound and an aromatic vinyl compound to obtain a modified conjugated diene polymer which contains a group which can be converted to an onium ion, and an alkoxysilyl group, and (b) a step of mixing the obtained modified conjugated diene polymer with an onium ion generator and a second alkoxysilane compound whose molecule contains one alkoxysilyl group and one group which can be converted to an onium ion by an onium ion generator. The groups, which can be converted to an onium ion, in the first alkoxysilane and second alkoxysilane compounds are selected from a group of compounds.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemical industry, particularly production of butadiene-styrene rubber obtained by emulsion copolymerisation, and methods for filling thereof at a latex step, and can be used in producing industrial rubber articles. The method of producing filled butadiene-styrene rubber involves emulsion copolymerisation of butadiene with styrene in the presence of radical initiators, stoppering the process, degassing, adding an antioxidant and fibre filler - cotton, viscose, capron fibre or a mixture thereof, separating rubber from latex by coagulation in the presence of a coagulation agent and 2% sulphuric acid solution, washing and drying rubber crumbs. The fibre filler is used at the coagulation step in the composition of a compound coagulation agent consisting of 5-30% aluminium chloride solution, added in amount of 2.0-3.0 kg/t rubber, and fibre filler added in amount of 1.0-10.0 kg/t rubber.
EFFECT: method increases process efficiency, intensifies the rubber drying process, reduces consumption of the coagulation agent, stabilises the process of separating rubber from latex and reduces environmental pollution with products of producing rubber by emulsion copolymerisation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the rubber industry and can be used in making industrial rubber articles. The butadiene-methylstyrene rubber based rubber mixture contains sulphur, diphenyl guanidine, a vulcanisation accelerator, technical carbon, zinc oxide, stearic acid, an anti-ageing agent and a modifier. The vulcanisation accelerator used is sulphenamide Ts, the anti-ageing agent and modifier are 2-(dibutylaminomethyl)-4-methyl-6-(1,7,7-trimethylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-exo-2-yl)phenol.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rubber industry and can be used in making wear-resistant rubber articles for construction purposes, operating in conditions of intense wear, low temperatures and aggressive media. The oil-and-petrol resistant rubber mixture contains butadiene-nitrile rubber BNKS-40AMN, isoprene rubber SKI-3, methyl styrene rubber SKMS-30 ARKM-15, sulphur, sulphenamide Ts, stearine, technical carbon P324, zinc oxide, regenerate RShT, thiuram D, kaolin, petroleum bitumen, naphtham-2, oil I-8A, N-nitrosodiphenylamine, and process additives - dispractol KS and a mixture of diphenyl carbonate and dimethyl carbonate resin DFK-1.
EFFECT: invention reduces the cost of the rubber mixture owing to use of cheaper process additives, and increases nominal tensile strength and breaking elongation, and reduces the abrasion index.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a composition for manufacturing a multi-layered elastomeric film, suitable for gloves. The composition for manufacturing the elastomeric film contains a synthetic elastic polymer or a copolymer. The total concentration of solid substances in the composition constitutes 5-20 wt % of the composition weight. The method of manufacturing the elastomeric film with the application of a multi-layered coating contains the following stages: (i) dipping the mould into a coagulant with the content of calcium ions and concentration of 1-10 wt %; (ii) drying the dipped mould; (iii) dipping the mould into the composition for the elastomeric film manufacturing with the temperature of 25-45°C with a 1-10 s exposure; (iv) drying the elastomeric film composition; (v) re- dipping the mould into the composition for the application of the next layer of the elastomeric composition; (vi) optional repetition of stages (iv) and (v); (vii) drying and vulcanisation of the multi-layered elastomeric film with the average layer thickness from 6 to 90% of the average total thickness of the multi-layered film, and the average total thickness of the multilayered elastomeric film from 0.01 to 0.3 mm.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the strength of the finished film without defects, does not cause skin allergy.

A latex binding agent for coating of pigmented paper contains particles of emulsion copolymer, which contains (i) from 15 to 35 wt % of repeated links, obtained by acrylonitrile polymerisation; (ii) from 25 to 65 wt % of repeated links obtained by polymerisation of conjugated diene monomer, and (iii) from 5 to 55 wt % of repeated links, obtained by polymerisation of alkenyl aromatic monomer, counted per the total weight of the repeated links in a particle.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-polluting method of producing rubber mix to be used in production of tires and general mechanical rubber goods. Proposed method comprises preliminary multistep processing of one or several ingredients selected from curing activator and cross-linking accelerator by ledges of the disc or discs inside percussion-type activator at 1000-10000 rpm. Then, they are added to the mix by appropriate mixers.
EFFECT: increased induction period at curing rate in primary period, late overcure, lower curing temperature, hence, lower costs.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing elastomeric composites and composites obtained using said methods. The method involves mixing a first aqueous fluid medium containing elastomeric latex with a second aqueous fluid medium containing filler particles; stimulating coagulation of the elastomeric latex to obtain mother batch crumbs; bringing the level of water content of the mother batch crumbs to a value ranging from about 1 wt % to about 20 wt % to obtain an anhydrous coagulum; removing water from the anhydrous coagulum by exposing the anhydrous coagulum to mechanical energy, resulting in heating of the anhydrous coagulum due to friction, wherein the anhydrous coagulum reaches temperature from about 130°C to about 190°C, where the level of water content is reduced to a value from about 0.5% to about 3%, and where the entire reduction of the level of water content is achieved by evaporation to obtain a plasticised mother batch; and exposing the plasticised mother batch to mechanical energy of at least 0.3 MJ/kg, with further reduction of the level of water content.
EFFECT: invention reduces viscosity of mother batches, improves filler dispersion, simplifies preparation of mother batches for producing a vulcanised rubber product.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer nanoparticle having a nucleus/shell configuration with an interphase region between the nucleus and the shell, which contains at least one polymerised monomer selected from a polymerised nucleus monomer and a polymerised shell monomer. To form a uniformly cross-linked nucleus, polymerisation of the nucleus is carried out through step-by-step addition in several loads or batching synchronised amounts of the nucleus monomer and the cross-linking agent. The size, composition and/or configuration of the interphase region is varied, thereby achieving desirable physical and/or chemical properties of the resultant polymer nanoparticles and compositions to which the nanoparticles are added.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to moulded elastomer articles made from a vulcanised composition of elastomer latex. Described is a vulcanised aqueous composition of synthetic latex rubber, which contains latex rubber, a vulcanising agent, an activator and an accelerator composition for synthetic latex rubber. The accelerator is obtained from a conjugated diane and, possibly, vinylaromatic copolymer and contains: (i) diethyl dithiocarbamate and (ii) diphenyl guanidine and does not contain any thiazole compounds. Weight ratio of components (i) and (ii) lies between 0.80 and 2.00. Described also is a method of making articles from the aqueous composition of synthetic latex. The method involves preparation of a latex dispersion or emulsion, holding the latex dispersion for up to 8 days, loading forms in form of an article into latex and vulcanisation of the latex present in that form.
EFFECT: cheap method based on water without the need for using novel expensive materials or equipment, use of smaller amounts of vulcanising agents and stabilisers.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions for making elastomer films used in making synthetic gloves, and a method of making elastomer films and gloves. The composition contains a synthetic polymer, sulphur, a metal oxide cross-linking agent and water. Sulphur is in amount of 0.01-0.5 parts per 100 parts of the polymer (phr). Total concentration of solid substances in the composition is 5-20% of the mass of the composition and the said composition does not contain an accelerator. The method of making a multilayer elastomer film involves the following steps: (i) dipping a mould into the composition, (ii) drying the composition and (iii) dipping the mould into the composition in order to deposit an additional layer of the elastomer film composition onto the mould, (iv) optional repetition of steps (ii) and (iii) and (v) drying and curing the elastomer film. The average thickness of the layer is 6-90% of the average overall thickness of the multilayer film. The average overall thickness of the elastomer film is approximately 0.01-0.3 mm.
EFFECT: increased strength of the multilayer elastomer film, reduced amount of composition for making an ariticle and reduced allergic reactions during contact with the elastomer films.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions containing crude emulsion rubber, synthetic latex, or natural rubber latex subjected to oxidative, thermal, dynamic, and/or light-induced degradation. In particular, invention provides composition, containing (i) crude emulsion rubber, synthetic latex, or degraded natural rubber latex, (ii), as stabilizer, at least one compound of formula I: (I), wherein R1 is C9-C20-alkyl, and (iii), as another stabilizer, at least one compound of formula II: (II), wherein R2 is C8-C12-alkyl; R3 is hydrogen, C8-C12-alkyl, cyclohexyl, 1-methylcyclohexyl, benzyl, α-methylbenzyl, α,α-dimethylbenzyl, or -CH2-S-R2; R4 is C1-C12-alkyl, benzyl, α-methylbenzyl, α,α-dimethylbenzyl, or -CH2-S-R2; and R5 is hydrogen or methyl. Invention also describes a method of stabilizing indicated mixture of compounds I and II.

SUBSTANCE: composition for preparing a polymer matrix contains, wt %: polymeric modifier 0.5-20.0, radical initiator 0.1-4.0, polymer stabiliser 0.1-4.0, modifying additive 1.0-15.0, ruthenic catalyst of metathesis polymerisation of dicyclopentadiene 0.001-0.02 and dicyclopentadiene min. 98% purity - the rest. The polydicyclopentadiene composite contains carbon-containing inorganic filler, organic-silicone modifier and polymer matrix described above in the preset mixture ratio. The composite is produced by preparing the polymer matrix by mixing dicyclopentadiene with polymer stabiliser and modifier, heating the prepared mixture to temperature 60-180°C and keeping the mixture at the given temperature for 2-360 min. After the mixture is cooled to 0-50°C, mixed with radical initiator, modifying additive and catalyst and agitated, the produced matrix is combined with reinforcing carbon-containing inorganic filler pre-treated with organic-silicone modifier. The polymerisation represents heated in a mould to 120-300°C and keeping at the above temperature for 1-300 min.
EFFECT: improving characteristics of the polydicyclopentadiene and reinforcing carbon composites reflected by increasing bending and tensile strength and elastic modulus, and ease of manufacturing ensured by using thermally activated carbene complexes of rhutenium.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to a method for producing cross-linked compositions of a polymer and bitumen with using no linking agent. The method for preparing the cross-linked compositions of the polymer and bitumen with using no linking agent provides at least one bitumen and at least one polymer composition containing at least 80 wt % of the polymer composition weight, diblock copolymer of monovinylaromatic hydrocarbon block and linked diene block having a molecular weight of 80000 g/mole or more and containing double-bond links in position 1-2 originating from the linked diene of 1.5% or more of the total weight of the linked diene links come in contact at 180°C to 220°C for a period of time of 8 h to 48 h. There are also declared versions of the method, versions of the cross-linked compositions of the polymer and bitumen, the method for producing the cross-linked stock solution with using no linking agent, and the cross-linked stock solution.
