Device for starting internal combustion engine

FIELD: engines.

SUBSTANCE: device for starting internal combustion engine, comprising a hydraulic accumulator, hydraulic starter with pressure and drain pipelines, on shaft of which there is a freewheel clutch, kinematically coupled with engine crankshaft, working fluid vessel and piston hydraulic pump, inlet pipe of which is connected to working fluid vessel, and outlet - to hydraulic accumulator connected with pressure pipeline of hydraulic starter, mounted on crankcase, to which are connected drain pipeline of hydraulic starter and inlet branch pipe of piston of hydraulic pump. For kinematic connection with engine crankshaft on housing of hydraulic starter is mounted a hydraulic cylinder, connected on one side with underwater pipeline, on other side with a connecting pipeline of hydraulic starter. For connection of hydraulic cylinder between pressure and underwater pipelines there is an electromagnetic valve, connected with electronic control unit, which through a relay and an ignition lock is connected to a storage battery. For measuring frequency of rotation on crankcase is mounted a rotational frequency sensor, connected with electronic control unit. For liquid supply under pressure from vessel with working fluid into hydraulic accumulator and pressure pipeline there is a hydraulic pump. For connection of hydraulic pump and hydraulic accumulator to pressure pipeline there is an electromagnetic valve, connected with electronic control unit. For measurement of pressure between piston hydraulic pump and hydraulic accumulator there is a pressure sensor, connected with electronic control unit.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of starting engine due to automation of operation and control process.

SUBSTANCE: in compliance with proposed method of starting engine 1 exploiting air actuators 2, 3, the number of latter may be decreased before engine 1 may increase its rpm independently on starting. That is, on accelerating engine rpm on starting, the number of air actuators 2,3 varies, for example, from two to one. Invention covers the device that allows implementing said method.

EFFECT: reduced amount of compressed air consumed by air actuators, smaller sizes.

The proposed electro pneumatic device facilitating the ICE starting comprises the ICE intake pipeline, and additionally a hot air supply manifold communicating, via a pneumatic line, with thermos-receiver arranged on the car frame. Note here that a solenoid valve is arranged at the said thermos-receiver outlet electrically connected with the power supply positive terminal, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, it is connected to the switch fitted on the car instrumentation panel.

EFFECT: ICE higher reliability, reduced consumption of fuels and lubricants oils on starting ICE.
