A user can request generation of a plurality of entries for the same source device and select one of said entries, wherein the rendering device is connected with the source device which corresponds to said selected entry; and settings of the rendering device for playback of the received content item are controlled according to the profile corresponding to said selected entry.

The technical field to which the invention relates

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for managing device settings for playback of a content item.

Home entertainment systems now provide an ever-increasing number of devices that must be connected and presented via a presentation device, such as a TV. For example, a TV can be connected to many services source, such as DVD and/or Blu-Ray player to play movies or music, the recording on the hard disk for playback of programs on a schedule or allow pause a TV program, live broadcast, gaming consoles, computer systems, etc.

Each of these devices connected to the TV via the input terminal and the content items are transmitted to the TV for presentation according to the General profile TV settings or according to the profile settings of the TV to this input terminal. The user may have the option to choose a profile by associating the type of the source device to the input terminal. It should be noted that US2009/0048848 discloses a device of the multimedia presentation, which provided the opportunity to present the media with the use of extensions multimedia processing (MPX). Multimedia data may include one or more of video data, still image data and audio data, for example. Profile of user preferences, the device profile multimedia presentation and/or profile environments of the multimedia presentation can be used to generate, save and/or recover data MPX. The user profile can contain independent information device, presentation multimedia, information regarding the characteristics and/or capabilities MPX device multimedia presentation MPX, and/or peripheral devices such as external speakers and/or display devices of the image. Environment profile may further contain information regarding the environmental conditions surrounding the multimedia presentation.

Therefore, it would be desirable to provide the appropriate settings for the playback of different types of content items.

This is achieved according to the first aspect of the present invention by a method for managing device settings view playback of a content item, wherein said presentation device is made with the possibility of connection with at least one source device, wherein said at least one source device provides at least one content item, wherein the method contains the stages at which: (I) generating multiple records for one or more of the mentioned at least one source device, wherein each of the plurality of records corresponds to a different profile in the form of activities that are supported for a particular source device, each profile contains settings for playback of a content item received from the source device that are unique to that particular source device, combined with this activity; provide the capability for the user to select one of these records; and manage the settings mentioned in the device performances for playback of the received content item according to the Pro�Yu, appropriate referred to the selected entry.

This is also achieved according to yet another aspect of the present invention by a device for playback of a content item, wherein the device comprises: at least one input made with the possibility of connection with at least one source device, wherein said at least one source device provides at least one content item, wherein one or more of the mentioned at least one input has a plurality of entries, wherein each of said plurality of entries corresponds to a different profile in the form of activities that are supported for a particular source device, each profile contains settings for playback of a content item received from the source device that are unique to that particular source device, combined with this activity; a user interface to allow the user to select one of said plurality of entries; and a controller to control the settings mentioned playback device mentioned a received content item according to the profile corresponding to these records.

Thus, this is achieved by ensuring �osmocote multiple profiles to the same input through multiple appointments on the same menu source select, so that the device submission is informed which profile to use and therefore what settings.

The user can create multiple versions of profiles for the same input. This input can then be transferred more than once in the channel list/list of source selection, but with different profiles. The user can then easily carry out the change of source to be connected to one source and have the correct settings to provide specific content item provided by the source device. This can be achieved through visualization of group operations for the source device. This can be in the form of the list/icons of possible operations on one device at a source, with each of these activities can have a default profile with best average settings that can be optimized by the user, but which are unique to the source device, combined with this activity.

For example, if the user wants to view a Blu-Ray movie, it will need to run a Blu-Ray player and select the correct activity of the source device in the user interface view.

One variant of implementation �of p according to the first aspect may contain a stage, which provide the capability for the user to select multiple records from a set of possible records that should be associated with said one or more of the mentioned at least one source device.

In one embodiment, the device according to the aforementioned another aspect of the user interface additionally enables the user to select multiple records from a set of possible records that should be associated with said one or more of the mentioned at least one entry.

Detailed description of embodiments of the invention

Now will be described embodiments of the present invention with reference to Fig.1 and 2.

The system comprises a presentation device 100 connected to at least one device 110 source through the first terminal device 101 100 performance�Oia and the output terminal 111 of the device 110 of the source. Communication between devices can be communication specification HDMI-CEC. The first terminal 101 of the device 100 performances connected with the receiver 103. The outputs of the receiver 103 is connected to the display device or a speaker 105, a combination of or similar to the controller 107. The controller 107 and the display unit/speaker 105 is connected with the user interface 109. The user interface 109 is coupled to a second terminal 102. The second terminal 102 is connected to the remote control device, keyboard, keyboards console-sensitive touch screen or the like for receiving input commands from the user.

The device 110 includes a storage device 115 connected to the transmitter 113. The output of the transmitter connected to an output terminal 111 of the device 110 of the source.

Now will be described the operation of the system in more detail with reference to Fig.1 and 2.

The user, through the device 120 input creates multiple profiles for the device 110 source connected to the presentation device 100. These profiles are presented in the form of supported activities for this particular source device. The user can edit the settings for this profile to suit his own requirements, or choose the default settings, so�e as watching Blu-Ray, playing games, listening to music.

The user can create multiple records for each source device. Each entry corresponds to a different profile and each profile contains settings for playback of a content item. The user interface 109 can provide a list or array 210 icons 220_1 on 220_9 on the screen 200 of the device display 105, as shown in Fig.2.

Icons 220_1 on 220_4 and 220_6 are presented in the form of operations that are configured by the user and have a profile associated with them. The profile may include settings for video and it is also possible for the audio to have the correct environment for a given activity. The user interface 109 can optionally provide a choice 220_8 to add a new device or provides the ability to configure profiles 220_9. Each activity or profile has at least one source device associated with it. As a result, any source device can have more than one profile associated with it.

Any of the icons 220_1 on 220_9 is selected by moving the display 230 in the array 210 in a standard way. As shown in Fig.2, the user interface 109 is grouped profiles for operations. In an alternative embodiment, osushestvleniya can be grouped by the source device, in this case, each icon will represent the device name of the source.

To use the system for playback of a content item, the user can select "play video", for example, the icon 220_2. The element content is loaded into the storage device 115 of the device 110 of the source. The element content is then passed to the presentation device by the transmitter 113 and the communication line between the output terminal 111 of the device 110 of the source and the first terminal 101 of the device 100 performance. The content element is received by the receiver 103. The controller 107 receives the profile for the activity of "video playback" selected by the user, and uses the settings for this profile to represent a piece of content regardless of source device used for transmission of a content item.

When the user selects the icon 220_7, the user does not indicate to the device 100 of the submission to any activity the user is going to use the recorder on the hard disk corresponding to the icon 220_7. In order for the device 100 views yet used the best settings, the recording on the hard disk re�software operation display, for example, the playback of the movie or music playback, the device view. When the recording on the hard disk drive is used to play music, the presentation device 100 may shut down, for example, your back-up light.

Although embodiments of the present invention have been illustrated in the accompanying drawings and described in the foregoing detailed description, it should be understood that the invention is not limited to the disclosed variants of implementation, but has the possibility of numerous modifications without departing from the scope of the invention as described in the subsequent claims.

3. A method according to claim 1, wherein at least one of said plurality of entries represents at least one of movie playback, music playback and playing games.

4. A method according to claim 1, wherein at least one of these profiles contains at least one of the delay settings of video and audio delay settings.

5. Machine-readable media storing a computer program product comprising a plurality of pieces of program code for performing the method according to any one of the preceding paragraphs.

6. The device (100) for playback of a content item, wherein the device (100) contains:
at least one inlet (101), made with possibility with�connection with at least one device (110) of the source mentioned at least one device (110) of the source provides at least one content item, one or more of the mentioned at least one input has a lot of records,
each of said plurality of entries corresponds to a different profile, each profile contains settings for playback of a content item received from the corresponding device (110) of the source, the user may request the generation of multiple entries for the same device (110) source;

the controller (107) for connecting the said device (100) with the source device corresponding to the aforementioned selected record, and control of equipment mentioned device (100) for playback mentioned a received content item according to the profile corresponding to the mentioned selected entry.

7. The device (100) according to claim 6, in which a user interface (109) additionally enables the user to select multiple records from a set of possible records that should be associated with said one or more of the mentioned at least one entry.

8. The device (100) according to claim 6, in which according to møn�Shea least one of said plurality of entries represents at least one of playing the movie playing music and playing games.

When removing target pixel noise, using a weight coefficient in accordance with the degree of similarity between the pattern of the target pixel and the pattern of each search point in the form of a search and a weighted sum of pixel values at search points, the loop filter compares patterns using the limited pattern form and removes the target pixel noise.
