SUBSTANCE: invention relates to domestic coffee machines. The coffee machine contains: a coffee supply module; a cup supporting surface (positioned before the said coffee supply module), at least the first steam supply nozzle whereto a milk supply container may be connected equipped with an emulsifier module having a connective socket wherein the said steam supple nozzle is inserted while the container is connected to the said first steam supply nozzle. The emulsifier module contains a tube for milk suction from the said container and a nozzle for supple of hot or emulsified milk. The steam supply nozzle is mounted on the supporting surface; the container connective socket is oriented upwards while the container is placed onto the supporting surface with the first steam supply nozzle inserted into the connective socket. The coffee machine is additionally equipped with a second steam supply nozzle enabling the emulsification chamber rinsing during the rinsing cycle while air supplied from the second nozzle during the beverage preparation process enables preliminary mixing of milk with air prior to further contacting with hot steam for high taste properties to be imparted to the target beverage.

The technical field to which the invention relates

The present invention relates to improvements in coffee machines, in particular but not exclusively, in automatic or semi-automatic coffee machines for home use. More specifically, the present invention relates to improvements in coffee machines, equipped with means or devices for making beverages based on milk, such as latte macchiato, cappuccino or the like.

Background of the invention

Were made various automatic and semi-automatic machines, in particular for home use, equipped with devices for preparing hot milk or emulsified milk used for the preparation of drinks based on milk, such as cappuccino, latte macchiato and the like. In WO2006/122916 described coffee machine, equipped with an island, forming the basis for accession to the jar, inside of which the steam injection tube extends from the base to the apex. The emulsifier is located in the lid of the jar and with the steam coming from the machine draws milk from the container and heats it up or emulsifies his air inhaled from the environment, to prepare milk foam.

In US-A-6711987 described coffee machine equipped with a milk container, which can be�t to be attached to the steam nozzle, attached to the coffee machine. The container is equipped with a steam injection tube for emulsification of milk within the container. In some embodiments, also described is a system having an external feed nozzle that allows you to brew into a mug emulsified milk with coffee.

In GB-A-2311332 described a similar device having a machine equipped with an external tank for milk, which can be attached to the horizontal nozzle installed in the car that delivers the vapor to suction the milk from the container, emulsifying and feeding it into the Cup through the feed nozzle.

A similar system is described in US-A-5473973.

In WO-A-2005/102126 described the machine with the same device jar for feeding the emulsified milk, as described in the above-mentioned publications. This device has special scraper means for removing the peel milk feeder tubes leading to the emulsifier.

Coffee machine having a system for emulsification of milk coming from the pitcher, are described in the joint review of the international publication of PCT/IT2009/000378 (corresponding to Italian application FI2008A000198), the content of which forms an integral part of the present invention.

A brief summary of the invention

In the present invention proposed a coffee machine that has media�tvo to prepare a hot or emulsified milk, containing particularly effective and safe system for attaching the milk container or jug to injector steam installed on the machine.

In one embodiment of the machine according to the invention mainly contains:

at least the coffee brewing module;

- supporting surface for cups located under the mentioned module coffee brewing;

at least the first nozzle of the steam, which can be attached to the milk container, equipped with an emulsifying module with the socket, in which is mentioned the first steam nozzle is inserted when the container is attached to the first mentioned nozzle steam, and mentioned emulsifying module contains a tube for suction of milk from the container and the nozzle for supplying hot or emulsified milk.

The steam nozzle is oriented to the supporting surface, and the connecting socket in the milk container is oriented upward when the container is placed on the supporting surface with the first steam nozzle that is inserted in said connecting socket.

Additional distinctive advantages, and embodiments of the invention described in the appended claims, which form an integral part of this description�.

In a preferred embodiment of the coffee machine comprises a second nozzle carried by the mentioned machine which can be attached to the second connecting socket mentioned emulsifying module to access hot water and/or steam to wash. This greatly improves the functionality of the machine.

Brief description of the drawings

The invention will be better understood from reading the following description given with reference to the set of drawings, which illustrates a non-limiting practical embodiment of the invention, and more specifically, in which:

Fig.1 is a view in axonometric projection of one possible embodiment of the machine according to the invention, with a milk container or a jar, attached to the machine;

Detailed description of embodiments of the present invention

Fig.1 shows a detailed axonometric view of the machine 1 incorporating the invention. Coffee machine 1 is, for example, it should be understood that it is also possible forms and features that differ from the illustrated.

Machine 1 comprises a housing 3, which houses the main components of the machine, and, in particular, for example, the feed module coffee, one or more heaters, one or more pumps for supplying water from the water tank, located in the upper area of the machine, optional tank for powdered or granulated to�Fe, coffee grinder (if tank coffee provided for keeping coffee beans), electrical and hydraulic circuit for working machine, programmable electronic control unit and so on. These parts are in themselves known and will not be described in more detail in this document.

The casing 3 of the machine 1 has a front door 5, which can be opened with a rocking movement around a vertical hinge axis a-A, for example, to provide access to the cooking module with coffee, located behind the door 5. Module 7 for coffee brewing is located at door 5 and may contain, for example, two nozzles 7A coffee brewing (see also Fig.2A). One or two containers of coffee, for example, mugs and cups, can be located under the nozzles 7A and supported on the supporting surface 9 below. The surface 9 is mainly formed by the grating 9A, located above the reservoir 9V for collecting refluent liquids, e.g., water for washing the coffee brewing module or device for emulsifying milk, as described in more detail further in this document. Reservoir 9B and grating 9A can be removed to empty the tank and washing it.

On 5 door cars may also be provided with a steam nozzle denoted by the reference numeral 11, that is, the carrier vapor, which can�t to be used for supplying steam and/or hot water into a mug or jug (tea), or, otherwise, for manual emulsification in the usual way milk contained in said Cup or jar.

The door 5 also has a first nozzle 13 for supplying steam for heating and/or emulsification of milk, as well as the second nozzle 14 for supplying steam or hot water for washing or, alternatively, emulsifying air into the emulsifying device contained in the removed pitcher, as described below. Two nozzles 13 and 14 can be seen, in particular, the cut in Fig.2, in the view of Fig.2A and separately on the cuts in Fig.3 and 4.

The feed nozzle 13 and 14 may be attached to the emulsifying module, designated generally by the reference position 12 (Fig.4, 5, 6) and contained in the container or jar 15, the main parts of which will be described later in this document with specific reference to Fig.2 and 3. The feed nozzle 13 and 14 may be oriented in a vertical direction, or preferably and as shown in Fig.2) at an angle preferably less than 45° relative to the vertical and oriented to the supporting surface 9.

Container or jug 15 comprises a housing 21, which is filled with milk, intended for heating or emulsification by means of steam supplied through the nozzle 13 steam. The housing 21 of the container 15 is closed by a cover, designated generally by the reference position 23, inside to�ora is the above-mentioned emulsifying module 12. Mentioned emulsifying module can be formed by any known method. In some embodiments, the emulsifying module 12 includes a housing 25 which forms the tube 27 Venturi fed by steam fed from the nozzle 13 of the steam through the nozzle 29 of the injector is formed in the housing 31 attached to the body 25 and located coaxially inside of the socket 33 formed in the cover 23 of the container 15. The various parts described so far, can be disassembled for easy cleaning. In particular, the housing 31 and 25 can be disconnected to provide a more comprehensive internal cleansing when they are removed from the cover 23 of the container or jug 15.

As can be seen, in particular in the context of Fig.4, in some embodiments, the nozzle 29 of the injector is located coaxially with the tube 27 of the Venturi and together with the input region mentioned tube 27 forms a Venturi suction chamber 37 for milk, optional emulsified as described below. As can be seen, in particular, from a comparison of Fig.4 and 6, the nozzle 29 is in hydraulic connection with the nozzle 13 steam installed in the door 5 of the machine 1, through the tube 29A. Tube 29A preferably has a cross section which gradually decreases from the end near the nozzle 13 steam until, until it reaches the minimum�th dimension, corresponding to this nozzle injector 29. At the end, near to the nozzle 13, the tube 29A is essentially vertical portion 29B (when the container 15 is attached to the machine 1 and is ready for use), which is connected to the tip of the nozzle 13 steam. The nozzle 13 of the steam is located essentially vertically when the container or jug 15 is attached to the machine 1, as shown in Fig.1.

Essentially, the vertical portion 29B of the tube 29A forms a dense nest of connection of the nozzle 13. The said nozzle or the socket formed by the vertical part 29B, has an o-ring, for example, formed by one or more rings having circular cross-sections.

The milk is sucked through the tube 39 is held to the housing base 21 of the container 15, is introduced into the suction chamber 37, in addition to the steam injected through the nozzle 29 of the injector. Pipe 39 leads into the emulsifying chamber 41 formed in the housing 31, which may be filed by the air coming from the nozzle 14 is installed in the door 5. As can be seen in particular in Fig.5 and 6, emulsifying chamber 41 is attached to the nozzle 14, which introduces the air through the tube 42. In some embodiments, the tube 42 has a variable cross-section which decreases from the point of attachment to the nozzle 14 to emulsifying chamber 41. Some�the options the implementation of the tube ends 42, essentially vertical part 42A, like tube 29B 29A which forms a connecting and sealing the slot at the far end of the nozzle 14 of the air supply. Seal formed by one or more rings having circular cross-sections, can be formed in the slot 42A or at the distal end of the nozzle 14 air supply.

While working to obtain the emulsified milk, steam, introduced through the feed nozzle 13 and the nozzle 20 into the tube 27 of the Venturi creates a low pressure through the Venturi and the suction chamber 37. Milk, which was before this emulsified at low temperature in an emulsifying chamber 41, also is sucked in the suction chamber 37. The emulsified milk at low temperature by mixing with the air supplied by the nozzle 14, due to the fact that the milk and air are mixed prior to contact with hot steam.

Then the emulsified milk is heated by contact with steam in the tube 27 of the Venturi, and in particular in the mixing chamber 63 downstream from a constriction in the tube 27 of the Venturi and the vapor condenses. Emulsified heated milk flows through a flexible tube 65, located in a rigid housing 67, pivotally attached to the cover 23 of the container 15. This adjustable rigid body 67 can be rotated around an essentially vertical on�and In-In (see Fig.1) take rest position, shown in solid line in Fig.1, and the position of the feeder, shown dash-dotted line in the same drawing, in which it is oriented in the position of the position module 7 coffee brewing. Emulsified milk coming out of the tube 65, thus, is served in a Cup, glass or other container placed on the top 9 and located so as to take the coffee supplied from module 7 filing.

When the pipe 65 is in the position of rest (Fig.1 and 2), its output end is aligned with the handle 15A of the container 15 within which is formed a discharge tube 71, which ends at one or more outlet openings 73 formed in the base 15B of the container 15. When the container 15 is positioned on the surface 9, as can be seen from Fig.1, it is thus possible to release the flushing water from the emulsifier through the tube 65, the tube holes 71 and 73 in the tank 9B under the bars 9A, forming a supporting surface 9. This allows a workflow of an emulsifier by introducing steam and/or hot water through the nozzle 14, or, otherwise, through the nozzle 13, or simultaneously or sequentially through the nozzle 13 and the nozzle 14.

In this respect it should be noted that the nozzle 14 may serve as emulsifying air, steam or hot water for washing. This can be achieved through�Twomey, attach the nozzle 14 to the valve system (not shown), controlled programmable Central control unit of the machine 1 so that the user can start one of the many programs short wash, intensive wash, feed emulsified milk or hot milk, or the like. In particular, hot milk, which was not emulsified, can be served by turning off the tube air intake attached to the nozzle 14.

Fig.4, 5 and 6 depict schematic views of flexible tubing 13A and 14A, which is attached nozzles 13 and 14 to the rigid connection 16 that is installed inside the housing 3 of the machine, and attached valves to control the intake of hot water, steam and air through the tube 13A, 14A and the respective nozzles 13 and 14. Flexible tubing 13A, 14A allow you to open and close the door 5.

As can be seen in particular in Fig.2 and 3, the nozzle 13 of the steam and the nozzle 14 of the air or water on the door 5 of the machine 1 and is tilted so that the jet of steam and/or water jet is oriented down and to the support surface 9. This ensures maximum safety during use. In fact, even if steam or hot water accidentally is supplied from the nozzle 13 or the nozzle 14 in the absence of a properly attached to the container 15, a jet of steam or hot water so focused on�way, she does not injure the user, and the water or condensate is collected in the tank 9B.

In some embodiments, the nozzle 13 of the steam and the nozzle 14 of the flushing flow of air or water can be fixed. However, in the example shown they are installed in equilibrium around a horizontal axis (Fig.2) so that the accession to the emulsifying module 12 contained in the container 15, is facilitated through the movement described in more detail below. In some embodiments, for this purpose, the nozzles 13 and 14 contained in the holder 18, is pivotally connected to the fingers 18A (see in particular Fig.6) to door 5.

As will be clear from Fig.3, which container or jug 15 shown in the ready position for connection to the machine 1, move the insertion and attachment of the container 15 to the nozzles 13 and 14 of the machine 1 is particularly ergonomic movement, consisting of a combination of rotation and translational movement. In fact, the user can easily perform this move and avoid horizontal pressing machine 1, which is usually necessary when the milk is attached via a horizontal movement to the nozzle, which is also oriented horizontally and is contained in the front of the machine. In fact, in this case, the user exerts a pushing C�have to overcome friction, provided rings are provided on the nozzle of the steam, and this pushing force may accidentally move the car. Instead, having features of the invention the configuration of the present invention, the force required to attach the nozzles 13 and 14 in the sockets formed by parts 29B and 42A of tubes 29A and 42 emulsifying module 12, does not include any accidental movement of the machine 1, in spite of the friction exerted on the sealing ring.

On the sequence of Fig.7A-7D depict the movement for the annexation of the jug or container to the car. Disconnection is achieved by the reverse sequence. Fig.7A depicts the jug close to the car in a tilted position and the connections of the nozzles 13 and 14 at the front of the cover are located close to the cavity 87. The guide fingers 83 are joined to the guide rails 85. Then (Fig.7B) the pitcher even more approaching the vehicle and then is rotated (in the counterclockwise direction in the drawing), as may be seen in Fig.7C, with subsequent translational movement of the guide fingers 83 along the guide rails 85 and inserting nozzles 13, 14 in the respective upper openings of the emulsifier. Inserting and moving the joining end (Fig.7D), when the base of the container 15 rests on the bars nor�E. This ensures user friendly connection of the container to the car.

In some embodiments, in order to facilitate and guide the movement of the container 15, the container portion 81, protruding from his cap 23 in which is formed the slot 29B and 42A for connection of the nozzles 13 and 14 are equipped with transverse guide fingers 83 which engage with two respective opposite guide rails 85 formed in the cavity 87 formed on the door 5 of the vehicle, which are nozzles 13 and 14. As shown in the enlarged view of Fig.3, when the container 15 is coming to the car through the tilted direction of movement, the fingers 83 engages with the guide rails 85 and post-translational movement for the approximation of the jug or container 15 to the machine 1 is sent via the interaction between the fingers 83 and the guide rails 85.

In addition, in some preferred embodiments, the gripping or locking prong 89 is provided on the surface 9 and is at a distance from the door 5 of the machine 1 so that the container 15 when correctly accession to the machine 1, is located with its base 15V, resting on the surface 9 in the area between the door 5 and a locking prong 89. On the one hand, this prong stabilised�should the container 15 and, on the other hand, does not allow the user to remove the container 15 through the horizontal movement that could damage the nozzles 13, 14 that are oriented downward and are inserted into the slots 29B and 42A in emulsifying module 12.

In fact, the tooth 89 is forcing to navigate for the removal of the container 15, that is, the movement detach from machine 1, which is moving back to the connection and is carried out through an initial spin-up and subsequent removal from the nozzle 13 steam. Move attach and detach can be alleviated by a rounded portion 91 formed near the base 15B of the container 15.

For greater stabilization of the container 15 in the attached position may be provided a pair of magnets 93, 95 (Fig.2), one of which is attached to the container 15, and the other of which is attached to the door 5 of the machine at the socket 87.

Fig.8, 9A and 9B show another predominant symptom of embodiment of the machine according to the invention. On these drawings shows a 5 door and its hinge connection to the housing 3 of the machine. Connection 13V, 14V, which form the ends of the flexible tubes 13A, 14A for the supply nozzles 13 and 14, provided on the door 5 of the machine. Connection 13V, 14V actually superimposed on each other in the plan view of Fig.8, 9A and 9B, and therefore, it is clear that only one of them. Conn�tion of this type is made of a relatively rigid plastic material and positioned to be inserted into the corresponding compounds 13C, 14C, mounted inside the housing 5 of the machine, which, in turn, are in hydraulic connection with electronic control valves that open and close depending on the duty cycle, which the user wishes to perform. When the door is closed (Fig.9A), the compounds 13C, 14C inserted into compounds 13C, 14C so that the hydraulic connection is formed between the nozzles 13, 14 and the internal valves of the machine. When the door is open (Fig.9B), connectors, or connection 13C, 14C, 13C, 14C are separated from each other, opening the circuit. On the one hand, this prevents the use of a continuous flexible tubes that were subjected to dynamic loading as a result of frequent opening and closing of the door 5. On the other hand, specific the described device allows to provide connections in the immediate vicinity of the swivel axis. Opening the circuit of water, air and steam allows to avoid the formation of low pressure in the pipes, when the door 5 is opened.

The above-described device connections to the supply pipes of the nozzles 13, 14 also allows to improve the cleaning and detach/attach the door from/to the car chassis for repair/replacement without having to dismantle/removal of hydraulic connections.

It should be understood that the drawing shows only an example given only as a practical demonstration of the invention, which may be modified in form and arrangement without departing from the scope of the idea underlying the invention. The optional inclusion of a reference position in the attached formula of the invention aims to simplify the reading of the claims with reference to the description and drawings and does not limit the scope of the protection represented by the claims.

1. Coffee machine (1) containing:
- at least a module (7) coffee brewing;
- supporting surface (9) for cups located under the mentioned module coffee brewing;
at least the first nozzle (13) of steam supply to which can be attached to the container (15) for milk, are equipped with an emulsifying module (12) having a connecting socket, in which is mentioned the first steam nozzle is inserted when the container is attached to the first mentioned nozzle steam, and mentioned emulsifying module contains a tube for suction of milk from the container and nozzle (67) for supplying hot or emulsified milk;
over and above the first nozzle (13) steam is oriented to the supporting surface (9), and over and above the input connector is oriented upwards when the container (15) p�substituted on the above-mentioned supporting surface with said first nozzle of the steam, inserted in said connecting socket, wherein the coffee machine comprises a second nozzle (14), carried by the mentioned machine which can be attached to the second connecting socket mentioned emulsifying module (12) for hot water and/or steam to wash.

2. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the distance between said first nozzle (13) for feeding steam and a supporting surface (9) and the distance between said connecting socket and the base (15B) of the container (15) for milk are such that the attachment of the first mentioned nozzle of the steam in said connecting socket requires rotational-translational movement of the milk container from the bottom up.

3. Coffee machine (1) according to one of claim 1 or 2, characterized in that said nozzle (67) milk container (15) for milk may be located in the feed position near the mentioned at least one module (7) coffee brewing so that the milk supplied to the nozzle milk, and coffee is supplied through the feed module coffee can be poured in a mug, located on a supporting surface (9), without change the provisions of these mugs.

4. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 3, characterized in that said nozzle (67) milk may be located in the position of PR�of mevania, which differs from the position of the feed.

5. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 4, characterized in that in said position of the washing nozzle (67) milk is in hydraulic connection with the exhaust tube inside the handle of the container (15) for milk, and mentioned discharge tube has an exit hole near the base (15B) of the milk container.

6. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said first nozzle (13) steam mounted for rocking movement, to promote the movement for inserting in the socket of the container (15) for the milk.

7. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said supporting surface (9) is equipped with a member (89) for fixation of the milk container in place when the said container is attached to the first nozzle of the steam flow.

8. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that it comprises a system for directing the milk container on the first jets of steam.

9. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 8, characterized in that said guide system includes two guide profile near the first mentioned nozzle (13) steam cooperating with two corresponding bounding element, combined with connection socket in emulsifying fashion�e (12) of the container (15) for the milk.

10. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said first nozzle (13) of the steam can be inserted in said connecting socket through the reciprocating movement of approach between the container (15) for the milk and the first nozzle of the steam; and the fact that the milk container can be placed on the above-mentioned supporting surface (9) by rotational movement of the milk container and the first jets of steam.

11. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said second nozzle (14) is connected to the input of emulsifying air.

12. Coffee machine (1) according to one of claim 1 or 11, characterized in that said first and second nozzles (13, 14) are essentially parallel to each other.

13. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said first and second nozzles (13, 14) are provided in General swinging the holder (18).

14. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said first nozzle (13) steam installed on a door (5) of the machine.

15. Coffee machine (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that said second nozzle (14) mounted on a door (5) of the machine.

SUBSTANCE: device (2) for heating and foaming liquid such as milk includes a means (32) for generation of steam that is used for liquid heating as well as an inlet hole (27) for air used for liquid foaming. Other than in traditional devices, the air inlet hole (27) is positioned on the steam generation means (32) enabling supply of air immediately into the steam generation means (32), in particular - through the inlet hole (27), creating a joint flow of steam and air which is very well suitable for usage in the heating and foaming process implemented. Consequently, the heating/foaming unit (40) forming part of the device (2) requires but one connection to the supply line (60) apart from the liquid supply line (10).

SUBSTANCE: beverage brewing unit (3) contains a movable element (9) with a socket (15) for ingredients for preparation of the said beverages that is moved from the ingredients charging position into the brewing position where the socket (15) is positioned between a hot water dosing device (41) and a beverage outlet fitting (35) that are placed opposite each other. The movable element (9) is designed integrated with a rinsing element (19), that, by way of movement of the said movable element, may be positioned between the hot water dosing device and the beverage outlet fitting to form a rinsing channel through which water dosed by the hot water dosing device flows towards the said beverage outlet fitting.

Stoppering mechanism of the beverage-making machine consists of rigid lower part and upper part. The latter can be rotated relative to lower part. The upper part can also be moved from open position, where it is disengaged from the lower part, to closed position, where it is engaged to lower part. Stoppering mechanism contains clamp down lever, which can be actuated to fix the upper part in closed position. Clamp down lever contains an element, engaged to the upper part with a capability of being rotated relative to first spigot, and another element, which can be rotated around second spigot. The edge of first element and second edge of second element are engaged to each other with a capability of being rotated around third spigot, so that the clamp down lever can reside in two positions. When actuating the lever to move the upper part from open to closed position, the lever is moved from first position to the second one.

EFFECT: creation of reliable and cost-effective mechanism for insertion of beverage cartridge into a beverage-making machine and extraction of cartridge from the machine.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus for production of milk-based beverage includes steam or water distribution device and milk tank directly or indirectly connected to collector shell that creates intracavity with opening connecting port to the specified distribution device, port for suction of milk placed in the tank and air suction port. At that the specified tank and shell are mutually and rigidly connected to form a single dismountable assembly connected to the specified distribution device. At that this assembly can be completely separated from it in order to preserve milk contained in the specified tank. Method of cappuccino preparation consists of automatic feed of prepared coffee beverage to the cup by a single command of coffee-making machine, recovery of specified volume of milk contained in the milk tank under the action steamflow supplied by steam distribution device of the specified coffee-making machine to the collector shell. At that the collector is directly or indirectly connected with the specified milk tank. Foaming of specified volume of milk is provided by air supplied to the specified collector shell. Supply of specified steamflow is terminated when specified volume of milk is recovered. The specified volume of foamed milk is fed to the cup.
