SUBSTANCE: according to the method the hole of the cylinder block of the engine is bored in the sitting zone of the cylinder block bushing with the subsequent compensation of the formed gap between the bored hole of the cylinder block and the bushing, in the bored hole of the cylinder block the pre-cooled bearing ring is installed which is made stepped with large and small outer sides, a bearing end collar and a lower end face, and the bearing ring contacts the cylinder block by the large outer side, provide preload of the ring within 0.236-0.330 mm and leaving a gap between the lower end face of the ring and the cylinder block of the engine 0.1 mm minimum, the bearing ring is cooled in liquid nitrogen within 15-25 min. The large and small outer sides of the bearing ring before the press fitting are coated with zinc or copper, and by the coating thickness the surface roughness level is compensated, and the small outer side of the bearing ring and the hole of the cylinder block is bored with pre-load within 0.236-0.330 mm.

EFFECT: invention allows to lower labour costs and time of repair due to avoidance of a gap between the small outer side of the bearing ring and the bore end face of the cylinder block from the side of the cylinder cover adjoining, increase service life of the cylinder block and to increase their reliability.

The invention relates to the field of process engineering, in particular to the repair of the block of cylinders of the internal combustion engine.

The known method of repair of the block of cylinders of the internal combustion engine, which executes the bore of the engine block in the landing zone of the cylinder sleeve, and the gap formed between the bore of the engine block and the cylinder liner compensate filler. The filler used is an elastomer GENE-150(B) or epoxy resin ("Rules overhaul diesel locomotives type TEM 1, TEM 2", the Ministry of Railways of the Russian Federation, M., "ERA" 1994, p. 12, p.7.1.2).

The disadvantage of this method is to compensate the gap between the engine block and the cylinder liner filler that during operation of the engine is destroyed due to high temperatures and cyclic loads in the contact zone of the engine block and the cylinder sleeve that reduces the life of the engine block, the reliability of its operation, increases labor costs and repair time of the block of cylinders.

The known method of repair of the block of cylinders of the internal combustion engine, adopted as a prototype, including the execution of the bore of the engine block in the landing zone of the cylinder sleeve with the subsequent compensation of the formed gap between the bore of the cylinder block and the kids long�ow cylinder in boring a cylinder set of pre-cooled support ring are stepped with large and small outer lateral sides, the support collar and the bottom end, wherein the support ring is in contact with the cylinder block large outer lateral face, and provide a preload in the range of 0.236-0.330 mm and leave a gap between the bottom end and the engine block is not less than 0.1 mm, the cooling of the support ring is produced in liquid nitrogen within 15-25 minutes (RU, patent for invention №2365479, IPC B23P 6/02, F02B 1/00, publ. 2009).

The disadvantage of this method is that the presence of a small gap between the outer lateral face of the support ring and the end of the bore of the cylinder block from the fit of the cylinder complicates the process gap seals and requires additional processing of the end face of the bore of the block under the cylinder cover, which increases labor costs and repair time of the engine block.

The technical result of the invention is to reduce labor costs and repair times of the block of cylinders of the engine by eliminating the small gap between the outer lateral face of the support ring and the end of the bore of the cylinder block from the fit of the cylinder and increase the service life of the block of cylinders and improve reliability.

Method of repair of cylinders of the internal combustion engine is as follows.

In the block of cylinders of the internal combustion engine performs the bore hole 1 of the block of cylinders of the engine 2 in the landing zone of the sleeve 3 with the subsequent compensation generated during operation of the gap 4 between the bore hole 1 cylinder block 2 and the sleeve 3. Big 6 and minor 7 outer sides of the support ring 5 is made stepped, before pressing coated with zinc or copper with a thickness t is not less than the value of roughness of the surface to ensure the tightness and increase the coefficient of friction. Pre-cooled within 15-25 minutes in liquid nitrogen support ring 5 with 6 large and 7 small outer lateral sides, the support collar 8 and the bottom end 9 is installed in the bore hole 1 cylinder block 2, and the support ring 5 is in contact with the cylinder block 2 6 large and 7 small outer side streamingporn ring 5 with an interference fit in the range of 0.236÷0,330 mm and leave a gap h between the lower end face 9 of the support ring 5 and the cylinder block of the engine 2 is not less than 0.1 mm.

The proposed method is carried out on two prototype diesel internal combustion engines, has received positive results and will reduce labor costs and repair time of the block of cylinders of the engine and increase its life and improve reliability.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to ICE production and may be used in operation of various ICEs. High-rpm engine cylinder liner is made from high-strength steel with chromium-plated face. The latter has three-layer working surface consisting of inner nitrided layer with hardness of 600-900 kgf/mm2, intermediate layer made from electrolytic alloy of chromium containing 1% of tungsten with hardness of 800-1200 kgf/mm2, and external layer of molybdenum disulfide with hardness of 400-550 kgf/mm2. Intermediate layer thickness is 2.0-25.5 times smaller than that of inner layer while outer layer thickness is 30-40 times larger than that of intermediate layer.

SUBSTANCE: proposed engine comprises crankcase 2 to house several cylinders 30 with cooling jacket 5. Separate cylinder heads 3 are provided with two cooling chambers 9, 10 arranged one above the other therein. Crankcase cooling jacket 5 and cylinder head bottom cooling chamber 9 are communicated ate least one, preferably, four transition holes 8 per one cylinder arranged regularly around cylinder. At least one inlet distributing chamber 7 and/or at least one return distribution cooling medium chamber 15 are arranged along at least one crankcase sidewall 2a. Said one inlet distributing chamber 7 communicates via at least one communicating channel 6 per one cylinder with cooling jacket 5 with cylinder dry liner. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for reconditioning of worn-out working rolls. First damaged ply is removed mechanically to heat the roll to 150-270°C. Arc deposition of wear-proof coating is performed with powder wore feed to welding area in at least three plies not over 9 mm in depth. Directly after deposition said roll is heated to 250-300°C and held thereat for at least one hour followed by cooling to not over 60°C.To get built-up ply over 9 mm in depth, powder wire is pre-deposited on roll surface to produce extra sub ply of preset depth. For deposition of extra sub ply powder wire is used that contains the following elements, wt %: 0.25-0.45 C, 0.7-1.2 Cr, 0.5-1.2 Mn, 0.15-1.2 Si, Cu<0.3, Ni<0.4, Fe making the rest. For deposition of wear-proof ply powder wire is used that contains the following elements, wt %: 0.25-0.45 C, 2.0-2.7 Cr, 0.5-1.2 Mn, 0.15-1.2 Si, 7-11 W, 0.15-0.55 V, Fe and gas- and slag-forming components making the rest.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair and can be used for recovery of worn-out surface of ICE cylinder liners. Proposed method comprises placing the mandrel with liner to be recovered into sealed chamber and squeezing of said liner by radial forces applied to its cylindrical surface over said mandrel. Water-filled discharge chamber is used with its inner cavity composed by two aligned conical surfaces, their axes being aligned with electric discharge channel geometrical axis. Note here that liner squeezing over mandrel fitted therein is carried out by the energy of electrohydraulic shock with blast wave focused effects.

EFFECT: uniform squeezing in radial direction without tempering, increased percentage of reuse of liners.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to repair of framework structures of units containing components with cracks, namely to repair of a block of internal combustion engine (ICE) cylinders. According to the proposed method, the block under repair is arranged horizontally with a patch downwards; a tube is installed in holes made in crack apexes, through which epoxy composition is delivered under air pressure to closed space formed with the above patch and an external wall of the block, and a drain tube for air removal, which is crimped at appearance of the epoxy composition on its end; the above composition is exposed under pressure for sealing of the crack and the whole weld; then, the tube for supply of the epoxy composition is crimped, and a composition curing unit is dried; after that, the above tubes are sawn down at the base flush with the wall of the block being repaired.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing service life of a block of ICE cylinders after repair, improving its operating reliability, reducing labour costs and repair time of the cylinder block, as well as allows restoring blocks of ICE cylinders of automobiles, agricultural, construction and road machines.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to part restoration industry and can be used at repair of a cylinder of PD-10M double-flow internal combustion engine. Restoration is performed by means of an internal grinding method in two stages on an internal grinding machine with further honed finishing based on additional repair size Dp.p3=74.25+0.030 mm. Rough grinding is performed at the first stage, and finish grinding is performed at the second stage. Processing modes for the above grinding and honed finishing operations are described.

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to reconditioning and repair of metal parts and may be used machine building, etc. Proposed method comprises the following jobs: first, parts surfaces are machined to resume their initial shape. Then, they are sand-blasted and processed by micro arc oxidising in water solution of caustic potash 10-20 g/l and liquid glass 10-20 g/l at 35-45°C and current density of 20-30 A/dm2 for 10-100 minutes. Then, coating is removed at local sections with diameter of 3-6 mm and total area making 20-30% of surface are to be reconditioned. Then, aluminium alloy of the part grade is spayed on said surfaces in crucible dip-forming. Now sprayed layer is rolled to shape and size the part by machining as required.

EFFECT: life not smaller than that of new parts.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shaft-type part worn-out surface recovery or hardening. Shaft journal is turned to produce lateral surface at distance from bearing fillet corresponding to shaft journal nonhardened section at angle to temporary recess bottom. Chamfer is produced at angle of 15-35° to vertical plane over the entire width of thin-wall strip made up of split ring or semi-rings. Thin-wall strip is secured at distance from said lateral surface of shaft journal equal to 1.0-3.0 mm along bottom of aforesaid temporary recess to make a groove between said lateral surface and strip chamfer. Thin-wall strip is welded to shaft journal in protective gases on arranging electrode in said groove to make annular weld seam.

EFFECT: better manufacturability and quality of shaft reconditioning.

FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovery of shaft worn-out journals by machining. Thin-wall split rings or semi-rings are fitted onto pre-machined journals and jointed in place by butt or annular seams to provided interference between journals and said rings. Temporary ring with width of up to 2/3 of shaft width is fitted and locked on one shaft journal with ring rotational axis displaced relative to that of the shaft through 1/2 of shaft radial beat. In making temporary cutting, cut edges should be rounded to chamfer. Said temporary cutting is ground, polished by abrasive tool, processed by surface plastic deformation and aforesaid ring, a strip, is fitted in place. Prior to welding, tack-welding is, first, made at joint center and, then, along its edges. Now, strip opposite edge is welded to shaft journal body by annular seam. Similar seam is produced on strip opposite side for both sides to be, then, machined by blade tool. Finally, strip with welded seams is ground, polished and deformed to produce surface roughness Ra=0.2-0.4 mcm and precision of 5 to 7 quality of shape parametres. Description of invention comprises design relationships for implementation of proposed method.

EFFECT: higher quality of recovered shafts.

FIELD: restoration of cast iron rolling rolls with journals damaged at operation.

SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of mechanically removing damaged layer and performing electric arc surfacing of rotated roll in place of damaged layer removal while feeding steel austenite wire electrode with diameter 3 - 5 mm to welding zone. Surfacing is realized at density of electric current 30 - 40 A/sq. mm and at electrode feeding speed 80 - 110 m/h. After surfacing journal is subjected to spontaneous cooling.

EFFECT: possibility for completely restoring geometry size of operational properties of damaged roll at keeping the same values of its hardness and strength.
