SUBSTANCE: electrohydraulic water activation installation comprises a chamber filled with water and equipped by electrodes, a cover with a channel for water supply. The chamber is limited by a recess in the piston bottom, cylinder walls and the cover with a channel for water supply, a plug with an insulated positive electrode is screwed into the cover, a cylindrical electrically insulated spring-damper is installed between the bottom part of the cylinder additionally serving as a negative electrode and the piston, the lateral part of the cylinder is fitted by a hole to discharge water after electrohydraulic impact in the water-filled chamber from a corona discharge between the electrodes at switching on of a high-frequency generator of primary pulses.

The invention relates to experimental and industrial installations activate water using electrohydraulic effect.

Known install /see Yutkin L. A. Electrohydraulic effect and its application in industry. Leningrad: Mashinostroenie, 1986/ reproducing electrohydraulic effect within the volume of the liquid in open or closed vessel, by means of the discharge (or discharge) between the electrodes placed in the liquid, from a specially formed pulse electric energy storage.

Closest to the proposed combination of essential features is known electro-hydraulic activator /see Pat. No. 2324658 (CL C02F 1/461, A01G 7/04) from 25.09.2006/ containing a water-filled chamber with electrodes, the lid with a channel for supplying water.

With all the advantages of electrohydraulic effect installation-activators, based on it, are not sufficiently effective.

To address these shortcomings in the installation of electro-activated water containing a water-filled chamber with electrodes, the lid with a channel for supplying water, the camera is limited by the cavity in the piston head, the cylinder walls and a lid with a channel for supplying water. Camera 1 with the electrodes of the proposed technical solution that adapts to the amount of activated water and power of the electro-shock, in combination with a conical recess in the piston and a conical reflector in the latter increases the efficiency of installation of electro-activated water. When exposed to electric discharge volumetric cavitation for water that accompanies hydraulic shock occurs complete change of properties of water: reduces the viscosity and surface tension, increases the concentration of free radicals, which has been confirmed experimentally in a laboratory setting (see analog in "Elektrotehnika i Elektromechanika", 2013, No. 1, pp. 55-60/.

Thus, according to the applicant, the proposed technical solution is new, involves an inventive step and is industrially applicable.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in gas and oil production industry for associated crude iodine production from iodine-lean confined groundwater. The method is implemented by a sequence of electrochemical iodide ion oxidation, molecular iodine sorption on carbon, electrochemical reduction of iodine to iodides, and desorption. All stages are performed in the same chemical reactor represented by a sorption column. Activated carbon with minimum iodine adsorption capacity of 1,000 mg/g is used as a sorbent. Graphite electrode at the column bottom is used as an anode, copper cathode in the form of plate at the column top is used as cathode. After the carbon is saturated with iodine, electrode polarity is reversed to desorb iodine from carbon in the form of iodide ions. Confined groundwater, including one with low iodine content, is used as iodine source.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water purification by crystallisation and can be used in everyday life, food industry and medicine. The material is a thermoplastic polymer with fibre-forming properties - acrylonitrile copolymer with methyl acrylate. SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used for processing sewage waters and conditioning sludge before its dehydration. A lime-based composition for processing waters and sludge contains, at least, one mineral agent, which contains at least lime and at least one linear, branched and/or transversely cross-linked hydrophilic organic polymer of a non-ionic, anionic, cationic or amphoteric origin. The mineral agent contains slaked lime in the solid phase, with the organic polymer being includes on the surface and inside the said solid phase of slaked lime, where the said lime-based composition represents a solid composition. The method of preparing the composition for processing waters and sludge includes the introduction of the mineral agent and a water solution, dispersion or an inverse emulsion, which contains the organic polymer and water, in contact. The method includes the realisation of a partial reaction of quicklime with all or a part of water, which contains the organic polymer, obtaining slaked lime in the solid phase, including the organic polymer.

EFFECT: inventions provide the effective conditioning of sludge to be dehydrated due to the distribution of the polymer in a smaller amount relative to the mineral agent.

SUBSTANCE: device makes it possible to treat not only water but other liquids close in viscosity to water, for instance, benzenes, diesel fuel, sunflower seed oil, wine material, etc. The water treatment device comprises chambers installed at the distance from each other that are open from top with a layer of filtering material, pipelines with hydraulic locks, supply and drain nozzles. Supply nozzles are installed under the layer of filtering material. Chambers are divided into filtering elements with multi-layer filtering materials, which are retained tightly along the perimeter with multi-section frames. Each chamber for effective operation in regeneration mode is provided at least by one vibrator with parameters, which are determined by formulas, and a radiator for ultrasonic frequency for disinfection at impact capacity of at least 2 W/cm.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to improve ten times and more the main process characteristics of a filter and perform simple regeneration of filtering material and its disinfection.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a method of purification of liquids and is dealt with filtration, in particular with the methods of purification of liquids from impurities. It may be used in the systems of industrial and household water supply in food and pharmaceutical industries. The method of liquids purification includes a partial shutting off a trunk of the unpurified liquid, delivery of the unpurified liquid in a trunk of the unpurified liquid and to the filtration element - in a trunk of purified liquid. FIELD: water-supply engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of removing hardness salts from regenerates and can be used in water treatment processes in heat-and-power engineering, chemical, petrochemical, food, and other industries provided with ion-exchange water-desalting filters. Method is accomplished by precipitation of hardness salts involving recycle of precipitate treated by alkali solution followed by passage of supernatant through H-cationite filter. Treated precipitate accumulated in preceding settling cycles is recycled into regenerate and settling-subjected solution is passed through cationite filter to produce purified sulfuric acid further used for regeneration of H-cationite filters in water-treatment cycle. Precipitate is treated with alkaline regenerate from OH-anionite filters or with alkali solution obtained from electrolysis of regenerates with pH not below 11. Amount of regenerate introduced into accumulator-settler should be at least 20 kg/m3.

EFFECT: excluded liming procedure, preserved initial (after regeneration of filters) content of sulfate ions in sulfuric acid, reduced consumption thereof during preparation of regeneration solution, and excluded discharge of sulfate ions unto water objects.
