FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: juicer contains a motor-driven electrical appliance juicing fruit and vegetables and a vessel for juice; the electrical appliance contains a juice outlet channel representing a tube passing along it. Additionally, the vessel contains a cover or a closure means pre-shaped as having a hole with dimensions and design allowing to accommodate the said tubular outlet channel. The channel contains an end section with an inner wall spanning through it; at least the said end section is designed so that to enable turning round the channel axis for the said juice delivery wall turning into another position of the said wall as a partition preventing dripping and liquid flow.

The present invention relates to a device juicers and more specifically (but not exclusively), to the centrifugal juicers, intended for use in domestic kitchens and containing driven by an electric motor appliances capable of squeezing juice from fruit, usually citrus fruits or vegetables, and serve the juice in a container such as a pitcher or carafe, which is located with the possibility of renting near the main body of the appliance, to accommodate the juice through the exhaust channel.

Typically, these juicers include grinding device, such as a disc-shaped cutting plate, which rotates at a sufficiently high speed for chopping fruits or vegetables, of which squeeze out the juice, and the cutting plate accommodates or, at least, is situated near the base of the filter element in the form of a truncated cone, which is generally cylindrical working space. The side wall is in the shape of a truncated cone of the filter element, perforated or otherwise formed with small holes and/or narrow slits, thus being sufficiently permeable to pass the juice through it. The cutting plate and usually also filter element spin fast enough to separate the juice from the crushed OST the Cove, containing mainly fibrous mass, and the juice goes through the hole in the wall in the shape of a truncated cone for the collection and submission, and shredded delayed filter element and usually popped up and out of him.

The workspace is closed by a cover, through the upper part of which passes hopper, configured to accommodate the vegetables and fruits that should be squeezed juice, and a plunger, resulting in vegetables and fruits can force the way through the hopper and into hard contact with the cutting plate.

Appliances on the basis of the above-mentioned known devices are well known, can be economically manufactured and is pretty good to work, though, as installed, it is usually necessary to collect or inside of the appliance, or in a separate (removable) containers of unwanted waste such as shredded waste, partly because the presence of large quantities of such waste into the prepared juice is considered undesirable by many users, and partly because such wastes tend to clog the outlet channels, and thus require frequent cleaning. One particularly effective method of drainage of waste in a separate container for collection and removal described in our concurrently pending application is Tony patent of the same applicant No. GB0900851.7, and this method can conveniently be used for the present invention.

However, problems arise in certain aspects, such as preventing dripping of juice out of the outlet channel when the desired quantity of juice and ensuring that the juice ran cleanly (i.e. without strong spray) into the container used to hold. These problems are particularly (but not exclusively) associated with centrifugal juicers from which the juice may be supplied at a sufficiently high speed.

The aim of the present invention is to provide a device for extraction of the juice, in which at least one of the above-mentioned problems are reduced or eliminated.

In accordance with the present invention the described device extractor containing driven by an electric motor appliance, capable of extracting juice from fruits and capacity to accommodate the juice, and the appliance includes an exhaust channel for juice, and the said channel is tubular about an axis passing through it, and the tank contains a cover or closing means, a pre-formed with a hole having dimensions and are designed to accommodate the mentioned tubular exhaust channel, and the channel includes a tail section with an inner wall, passing along the chord, while, at least, mentioned the tail section is able to rotate around the axis of the channel inversion mentioned wall to supply juice and other locations mentioned wall as a partition to prevent dripping to prevent fluid flow.

Thus, the tail section with the outlet can be rotated from the position of the feed juice in a position to stop the flow, and, in addition, the tail section of the channel is inserted at least partially into the hole in the lid or closing means, thus contributing to a net flow of juice into the container.

Preferably, the tail section of canal performed on an item, which can be clamped, snuggle up or otherwise manipulated by the user to facilitate rotation of the end portion of the channel from its one position to another.

In addition, it is preferable that the tail section could be rotated between its provisions filing juice and termination of dripping, while he remains inserted in the hole in the lid or closing the tool mentioned capacity.

In order that the present invention can be understood and easy to implement, one variant of implementation will be described only as an example with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which:

figure 3(a) and 3(b), respectively appearance and views in the development of the se exhaust channel in the feeding position of the juice;

figure 5(a) and 5(b) respectively fixed and movable sections of the outlet together with interactive elements formed to provide relative movement between them.

As shown in figure 1(a), 1(b) and 2, the device includes appliance 1 centrifugal juicer that contains the base 2, the main body 3 and the cover 4. The main body 3 accommodates the motor and the main elements to squeeze the juice, as already described, which may be of any convenient form and are not material to the present invention, therefore, will not be further described herein. In this example, the main body contains a rotary switch 5, through which you can control the operation of the appliance 1, and a pair of retainers, such as 6, for a reliable hold the lid in place, although it should be understood that these elements are shown only as examples and may have other forms.

Cover 4 supports the hopper 8 having dimensions and are designed to hold fruits or vegetables from which to Wiimotes juice, and a pusher (not shown), resulting in fruits and vegetables can set off through the hopper 8 in the rigid contact with the cutting plate (not shown), located in the main housing 3 and which rotates at high speed to ensure the function squeeze the juice of the appliance. These necessary conditions can, however, be satisfied with any suitable way without departing from the scope of the present invention, which mainly relates to the exhaust channel 9 extending from the main body 3, through which can be served juice in the receiving container that includes a pitcher or carafe 10.

To complete the description of the external elements of the electrical device 1, there is also a separate container 11, which is located to accommodate the unwanted ground remains, which, as described above, is a byproduct of the operation of squeezing juice. Preferably, the container 11 is made and is in cooperation with the main body 3 described in the aforementioned application UK PA is UNT, although other configurations may be used if desired.

In this example, the outlet channel 9 comprises a tubular inner section 12 mounted on the main body 3 of the electric device 1 and containing the longitudinal axis 12a, and rotating the tubular tail section 13, located coaxially with him. The tail section 13 can be rotated relative to the stationary inner section 12 and around the axis 12a through manipulation by the user's eye or other element 14 formed on the outer surface of the end portion 13.

As will be described with reference to figure 3(a), 3(b), 4(a), 4(b), 5(a) and 5(b), the main feature of the outlet channel 9 is its ability to prevent dripping of juice, if desired quantity of juice was served in a container 10. In this regard, and to solve this problem, turning tail section 13 of the channel 9 has a transverse wall 15, which runs along the chord through a circular outlet end portion 13 and is (when the end section 13 is oriented properly) to perform the function of the septum relative to the aspirations of the juice out through the channel 9.

As mentioned above, the tail section 13 of the channel 9 can be rotated relative to the fixed section 12 around the axis 12a. The rotation preferably occurs at a given angle (usually 180 degrees) and is limited to the pores, as will be described below. When the end section 13 of the outlet channel 9 is in its first (giving juice) position relative to the fixed section 12, as shown in figure 3(a) and 3(b), the wall 15 is located in an inverted position and, thus, are set so that the juice can pass under the wall 15 of the channel 9.

When applying a sufficient amount of juice and disabling the electrical device 1, the user manipulates the eyelet 14 to rotate the end portion 13 of the above-mentioned given angle (in this example, 180 degrees) relative to the fixed section 12 of the channel 9 in the second (to prevent dripping) position, as shown in figure 4(a) and 4(b), thus positioning the wall to perform the function of a partition to prevent further leakage of juice, thus preventing dripping when removing the tank 10 to collect the juice.

Stationary inner section 12 with the outlet 9 is supported in this example, the protruding forward of the tubular insert 16, which has a size for a tight fit inside such inserts 17, located at the end 13 with the outlet, and insert 16 and 17 contain the corresponding interactive elements, as will be described below. Insert 16 and 17 can be made of food grade plastic, or they may be made of a suitable metal, such as stainless steel is . Two sections 12 and 13 of the channel 9 is preferably made of stainless steel.

Box 16, located in the inner fixed section 12 of the channel 9, supports the seal of the sealing ring 18 and executed on its outer surface 19 passing around the circumference of the groove 20 within which are located two pairs of ribs, one such pair of edges is shown under reference positions 21 and 22 in figure 5(a). These pairs of ribs form the corresponding end stops limiting the angular movement of end portion 13 in both directions relative to the fixed section 12 of the channel 9. Box 17 closes the sealing ring 18 and has a radial size for tight contact with the sealing ring 18 to form a seal, which can provide relative rotation between the two inserts and to prevent unwanted release of the juice between them.

Facing the inside wall 23 of the insert 17, located at the end 13 of the channel 9, is formed with a tongue 24, which engages with the groove 20 to hold the end portion in place and, in addition, is used to determine the touch when the end section 13 is rotated in one or the other of its extreme angular positions (supply of juice and termination of dripping, respectively) relative to the fixed section 12.

The tongue 24 has a relative activities is but a complex shape, partly this truncated pyramid with sloping inside walls, such as 26 on each end, and sloping inwards passing around the circumference of the walls, such as 29. In addition, the tongue 24 is surrounded on three sides associated slots 25 formed through the insert 17, thus providing a flexible support for the tongue. It should be understood that (as best can be seen in figure 3(b) and 4(b)) gap formed between the insert 17 and the inner wall of the end portion 13 to provide sufficient bending of the tongue 24 for the above purpose.

When it is necessary to assemble the tail section 13 with a fixed section 12 of the channel 9, the tail section 13 is placed on a straight line with a fixed section 12 and move towards him along the axis 12a, causing the inclined surface 29 of the pull tab 24 (due to the flexibility of its installation) to move along the surface 19 of the insert 16 as long as the latch will not engage with the groove 20.

When turning the end portion 13 relative to the fixed section 12, the tongue 24 is moved around the grooves 20 until such time as he will be in contact with one or the other of the pairs of edges (such as 21 and 22)located at each end of its travel, whereupon the inclined surface, such as 26, the tongue 24 is moved through the first edge pair and provides the latch tongue 24 in the notch between the two edges. Uh what about the action accurately defines and limits the rotation of the end portion 13 relative to the fixed section 12, and allows to determine the feel that the tail section is installed in a predetermined angular position relative to the fixed section 12.

In this example of the present invention (as can best be seen in figure 3(b) and 4(b)) the second tab is identical to the element 24 is located on the insert 17 at a location diametrically opposite the tongue 24, and both tabs engage with the groove 20 when the end section 13 is assembled with the fixed section 12 of the channel 9. This provides improved operation. In addition, when turning the end portion 13 in one or the other of its stable end positions each tab, such as 24, fits in a corresponding one of the two grooves formed between the ribs (such as 21 and 22) of each pair of ribs located in the annular groove 20.

If necessary, the graphic symbols can be printed on the outer surface of the section 12 or 13 of the channel 9, so that the combination of the tongue 14 with a single graphic symbol or other indicates to the user whether the discharge channel in the feeding position of the juice or the position of the stop dripping.

The tail section 13 can be easily removed from the rest of the exhaust channel 9 for cleaning through the operation of the Assembly in the reverse order described above; i.e., by retrieving it in the axial direction, the opposite direction is, used for Assembly. The combination of an inclined surface (not shown)equivalent to the surface 29 on the opposite side of the tongue 24 and the flexibility of the tongue in box 17 (and the gap between the insert 17 and the end section 13) provides the necessary movement, which allows the user to easily remove the tongue 24 of the groove 20.

The internal configuration of the end portion 13 is such as to provide ease of cleaning and to reduce the probability of formation of traps for dirt and/or stale juice. In addition, the wall 15 and the associated D-shaped hole at the end of the section 13 is designed so that if the juicer unintentionally driven from the exhaust channel, established in his position stop dripping, juice can't get back in the juicer. Instead, the juice may be discharged directly into the tank 10. It is particularly preferred when, due to manipulation of the lug 14, the end section 13 can be rotated between its provisions filing juice and termination of dripping, being tightly inserted into the closed hole 28 (see Fig 1(a) and 1(b))formed in the lid or closing means 27 of the container 10 to accommodate the juice. In addition, it should be understood that if desired, the appliance 1 juicer can operate with the remote end section 13, is thus not allowing termination of dripping.

Were previously made proposals, for example, in EP-A1-1834555 and in WO-A2-2009/010897, to resolve the problem of dripping through knee-like rotary element. It should be understood that such proposals do not have the characteristics described in the previous paragraph.

Another problem solved by the present device and not by the preceding sentences, mentioned above, is the problem of clean feed juice into the container 10 without splashing. In this regard, the cover 27 of the container 10 in this example is formed (as mentioned above) with a closed inlet 28 with sizes for dense enter the outer part of the end portion 13 of the outlet channel 9. Thus, the juice goes directly into the tank 10, and, in addition, as mentioned earlier, the tail section 13 can be rotated between its provisions filing juice and termination dripping with tight insertion into a closed hole 28, thus providing a clean supply of juice while maintaining the possibility of termination of dripping.

In this embodiment of the present invention the axis 12a of the channel 9 is oriented at a downward angle to the horizontal sufficient to meet the closed position of the hole 28 in the cover 27 of the container 10. However, it should be understood that the above-mentioned downward angle can be adjusted in any given case to match a special container, so the AC is 10, specifically designed for use with the appliance 1 and/or standard Cup or glass, depending on the kit used in practice.

The device according to claim 1, in which the liquid seal (18)made with the possibility of rotation mentioned end portion (13) of the channel (9) relative to the stationary inner section (12) of the channel is located between the outer surface (19) inserting (16)supported by the inner section (12)and inner surface (23) inserting (17)located in the end section (13).

6. The device according to claim 5, in which the inner section (12) of the exhaust pipe (9) contains a stationary, essentially, a straight and a hollow tube (12), and the above-mentioned end section (13) includes an outer annular ledge which is rotated at least certain angle relative to the tube (12).

7. The device according to claim 6, in which the fixed tube (12) and the terminal part is OK (13) is formed with interactive elements (20, 21, 22, 24), restricting and determining the angle at which the tail section (13) of the channel (9) can be rotated relative to the stationary tube (12).

8. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to juice extractors for citrus fruit. The juice extractor for citrus fruit comprises a vertical nozzle mounted on a shaft driven by the electric motor, so that for juice extraction half of the citrus fruit can be pressed to the nozzle. Usually, such juice extractors are equipped with a lever bearing a hollow pressure element which is intended to lower by turning the lever for pressing the half of the fruit to the nozzle, and after application, usually the lever returns to its fully raised position. Accordingly, the lever takes its raised position and tends to take the raised position during storage and transportation. The invention provides a locking means for locking the lever in the lowered position, which provides the storage and transportation of the juice extractor with the lever fixed in the lowered position, which makes the juice extractor more compact and convenient to use. Particularly preferably, the lever is additionally equipped with a damping device, such as a rotating frictional damper for controlling the upward movement of the lever when it is disengaged from the locking device.

Juice extractor intended, in particular, to citrus fruit juicing, contains a rotating around its axis squeezing cone and set above the juice container attached to the squeezing cone screen having an area for juice passing through with a variable cross section of throughput. Thereat screen has a working surface with the first throughput openings and the second working surface of the screen with the second throughput openings. Changing of mutual positions of the first and the second working surfaces of the screen changes throughput section of the latter. Thereat for limitation of the amount of possible relative fixed positions of the first and second working surfaces of the screen, on the first working surface there is a retention pin with a fixing cog interlocking with the counter stop in the shape of several tapered cogs on the second working surface of the screen. SUBSTANCE: invention pertains to juice extractor. Juice extractor intended, in particular, to citrus fruit juicing, contains a rotating around its axis squeezing cone and set above the juice container attached to the squeezing cone screen having an area for juice passing through with a variable cross section of throughput. Thereat screen has a working surface with the first throughput openings and the second working surface of the screen with the second throughput openings. Changing of mutual positions of the first and the second working surfaces of the screen changes throughput section of the latter. Thereat for limitation of the amount of possible relative fixed positions of the first and second working surfaces of the screen, on the first working surface there is a retention pin with a fixing cog interlocking with the counter stop in the shape of several tapered cogs on the second working surface of the screen. It improves positioning of the first surface of the screen against the second surface, prevents spontaneous modification of the adjustment selected by the user.
