Method of obtaining adhesive compositions for sticky polyvinyl chloride tapes, which contains hydroxylated 1,2-polybutadienes

SUBSTANCE: glue composition includes perchlorovinyl resin, plasticiser and adhesion-increasing additive. Composition additionally contains hydroxylated 1,2-polybutadiene or hydroxylated syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene in quantity from 1 to 15 wt.p.; hydroxylated 1,2-polybutadiene with average weight molecular weight from 8000 to 12000 being applied. Degree of hydroxylation in hydroxylated 1,2-polybutadiene consistitutes from 2 to 27%.

EFFECT: increased adhesion of sticky PVC-tape to metal surface.

The invention relates to the field of adhesives used for the manufacture of adhesive polyvinyl chloride (PVC) tapes intended for bonding to various surfaces, and can be used for the manufacture of PVC adhesive tape, designed for winding of gas and oil as an insulating and protective coatings, as well as for repairs.

One of the main requirements for the glue for the manufacture of PVC adhesive tape, is to provide high adhesion of the obtained adhesive tape to a metal surface.

Known adhesive compositions used for the manufacture of adhesive PVC tapes containing perchlorovinyl resin, pine rosin, solvent, and other ingredients [A.S. No. 423829, CL 09J 7/00, publ. 15.04.1974; A.S. No. 717118, CL 09J 7/02, publ. 25.02.1980; RF patent №2196794, CL 09J 127/24, publ. 20.01.2003].

The disadvantage of these adhesive compositions is insufficient adhesion of the obtained adhesive PVC tape to steel.

Closest to the proposed adhesive composition is an adhesive for adhesive tapes [RF patent №2244729, CL 09J 127/24, publ. 20.01.2005]containing perchlorovinyl resin, plasticizer, pine rosin and the filler in the following ratio of components, mass:

perchlorovinyl resin - 25-30;

the dioctylphthalate - 33-55;

chlorinated what s α-olefin - 11-33;

pine rosin - 6-8;

the activated mixture of natural zeolite and calcium oxide - 0-7.

The disadvantage of this adhesive composition is insufficient adhesion of the obtained adhesive PVC tape to the surface of the steel, the value of which does not exceed 5-6 N/cm, which does not meet modern technical requirements of sticky tape for insulation of pipelines.

The technical result of the invention is to increase the adhesion of adhesive PVC tape to steel.

This technical result is achieved in that the adhesive composition for adhesive PVC tapes containing perchlorovinyl resin, the plasticizer is a mixture of dioctylphthalate and chlorinated α-olefins, pine rosin further comprises gidroksilirovanii 1,2-polybutadiene or gidroksilirovanii syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene in an amount of from 1 to 15 mass Use gidroksilirovanii 1,2-polybutadiene with a mass-average molecular weight of from 8,000 to 120,000, the degree of hydroxylation in gidrauxilirovanne 1,2-polybutadiene is 2-27%. The adhesive composition contains the components massc:

perchlorovinyl resin - 25-30;

the dioctylphthalate - 45-55;

chlorinated α-olefin - 10-20;

pine rosin - 4-8;

gidroksilirovanii 1,2-polybutadiene or

gidroksilirovanii syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene - 1-15.

As a result of introduction in the adhesive composition gidrauxilirovannogo 1,2-polybutadiene significantly increases the adhesion of adhesive PVC tape to the surface of the steel.

Gidroksilirovanii 1,2-polybutadiene is produced by oxidation of the intermediate diisobutylaluminium 1,2-polybutadiene in toluene at a temperature of 20-50°C. the Polymer is recovered from the reaction mixture and dried.

Adhesive composition was prepared as follows.

In the reactor, heated to 70-75°C. with stirring download 45-55 mass plasticizer dioctylphthalate, 10-20 mass chlorinated α-olefins and 4-8 MASC pine rosin (mark "And" GOST 19113-84). After complete dissolution of rosin enter 25-30 mass perchlorovinyl resin brand PSC-PP 1-15 and mass gidrauxilirovannogo 1,2-polybutadiene or gidrauxilirovannogo syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene and continue mixing at a temperature of 70-75°C for 4-8 hours until a homogeneous composition of the adhesive mass.

Thus prepared adhesive is applied on a vinyl tape valcheva-calender method. Clay is prepared at the place of consumption immediately before applying the PVC tape. From the obtained adhesive PVC tape prepare samples for testing by THE 2245-001-00203312-2003. The value of adhesion of PVC tape to steel is determined according to GOST R 51164-98.

In the reactor, heated to 70-75°C. with stirring download, mass: DOP - 45; chlorinated α-olefin - 20; pine rosin - 6. Examples 11 and 12 are given as boundary justification for selected intervals of the contents of the components in the adhesive composition and characteristics used in adhesive compositions gidrauxilirovannogo 1,2-polybutadiene.

From the data of table 1 it follows that the adhesive compositions obtained using gidrauxilirovannogo 1,2-polybutadiene or gidrauxilirovannogo Cindy aktionscode 1,2-polybutadiene, provide in comparison with the prototype significantly higher (2-2,3 times) adhesion of adhesive PVC tape to steel.

Thus, the introduction of more gidrauxilirovannogo 1,2-polybutadiene or gidrauxilirovannogo syndiotactic 1,2-polybutadiene can increase the adhesion of adhesive PVC tape to steel.

The laminate for transparent tags contains a film substrate or a paper substrate, a radiation-cured anti-adhesion separating coating, an adhesive layer and a transparent printed material. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to production of adhesive compositions used for adhesive polyvinylchloride (PVC) tapes applied to various surfaces. Invention can be used for production of polyvinylchloride adhesive tape intended for gas and oil pipelines wrapping as insulating and protecting coating, as well as for repair works. Technical result of invention is higher adhesion capacity of adhesive polyvinylchloride tapes when applied on steel. The specified technical result is achieved by that adhesive composition for adhesive polyvinylchloride tapes, containing perchorvinyl resin, plasticizing agent that is mixed dioctylphthalate and chlorinated α-olefins, e.g. ethylene oligomerisation residues, pine resin and, probably, bulk additive that is activated mixture of natural zeolite and calcium oxide taken in ratio 9:1, in addition contains brominated 1,2-polybutadiene of average molecular weight within 8000 to 120000. Application of brominated 1,2-polybutadiene in adhesive composition allows for higher adhesion capacity of adhesive polyvinylchloride tapes when applied on steel.
