Oral care device having set of components for soft tissue cleansing

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medical equipment and describes versions of oral care devices and a method for making a head for this device. According to the first version, the device comprises a handle, a head attached to the handle, first and second cleansing devices. The head has a body with a front surface and a back surface opposite the front surface. A socket is formed in the back surface of the body. The body comprises a bulb extending up from the sunk socket bottom with the socket surrounding the bulb. The first cleaning device is formed of an elastic material for cleansing oral soft tissues and provided inside the socket with the body bulb extending through a central hole of the first cleansing device. The second cleansing is formed of an elastic material for cleansing oral soft tissues with the second cleansing device is provided on the body bulb of the structure. The second cleansing device is formed in an upper surface of the bulb for cleansing oral soft tissues and projects therefrom. The body is made of solid plastic. A method for making the head of the device involves moulding the body of the head of solid plastic, injecting a first dose of thermoplastic elastomer through a first port into the socket of the body of the head to form the first cleansing device and injecting a second dose of thermoplastic elastomer through a second port onto the body of the head to form the second cleansing device.

EFFECT: inventions provide the comfort and effective clearance of bacteria from the tongue and other soft tissues by penetration into narrow oral spaces and sockets.

The technical field to which the invention relates

Presents the invention in General relates to having the handle to the device for maintenance of the oral cavity, and particularly to a device for the care of oral cavity, such as a toothbrush, with many cleaning devices for treatment of the soft tissues of the mouth.

The prior art inventions

According to the American Dental Association, the main source of bad breath in healthy people are microbial deposits on the tongue, where bacterial coating gives refuge organisms and foreign particles that participate in the formation of unpleasant mouth odor. Language is a refuge for the growth of microorganisms, because the papillary nature of the surface of the tongue creates a unique ecological area, which provides an extremely large surface area, favorable for the accumulation of bacteria in the oral cavity. Anaerobic flora and bacteria that live on the language, play an important role in the development of chronic bad breath, usually referred to as halitosis. In General, bacteria produce volatile sulfur compounds (VSC). If there is a sufficient accumulation of sulfur compounds, may result in smelly breath or halitosis.

Despite the fact that in PR the past used blade scrapers for the language data scrapers are inadequate in relation to their effectiveness on the surface of the soft tissue of the tongue. The ability of a wide, flat scraping blades to get between the papillae, where accumulate bacteria and microstate is limited. Recently, considerable efforts have been made to develop devices for the care of the oral cavity, with an improved device for cleaning soft tissue. An example of such devices for the care of the oral cavity is a device for cleaning fabrics in the form of a strip consisting of an elastomeric material. The gasket is located on the head on the surface opposite to the elements for cleaning teeth. The strip contains many tapered cones stretching from it to clean between the papillae of the tongue. Although this device for the care of the oral cavity provides a significant improvement compared to existing scrapers for the language, it is somewhat limited in that the strip of elastomeric material is provided only on one main surface of the head. Despite the above and other improvements, there is still a need for a device for maintenance of the oral cavity with a device for cleaning soft tissue, which can provide effective removal of bacteria from the areas of language and other soft tissues of the oral cavity, while at the same time comfort for the user.

The invention

The invention relates to a device for the care of Rotov the second cavity with a device for cleaning fabrics, which provides improved cleaning and effective removal of bacteria and microshadow located on the surfaces of the oral tissues. The invention is a device for the care of oral cavity, containing many types of devices for cleaning of soft tissues, which offer extensive cleaning and/or sensation in the mouth during the procedure of maintenance of the oral cavity.

In one particular aspect, the invention may be a device for the care of oral cavity, comprising: a handle; a head connected to the handle, and the head has a first surface, an opposite second surface, and a peripheral surface extending between the first and second surfaces; a first cleaning device for cleaning the soft tissues of the oral cavity, with the first cleaning device is formed of elastic material and attached to the head; and a second cleaning device for cleaning the soft tissues of the oral cavity, while the second cleaning device is formed of elastic material and attached to the head. In one embodiment, may be included third cleaning device which is formed of elastic material and attached to the head.

The first and second (and possibly third) of the cleaning device is made of elastic material with the distinctions of the different densities, hardness, colors, and/or materials that cause the user a variety of sensory responses of the trigeminal nerve, due to the inclusion of, for example, various flavoring substances and/or perceived by the senses substances. In another preferred embodiment, the first and second (and possibly third) of the cleaning device is attached and cover different areas of the head. In this embodiment, in addition, it is preferred that the first and second (and possibly third) cleansers contain different configurations of the surface. The first and second (and possibly third) of the cleaning device can be molded in the head separately. One or more of the above-mentioned preferable characteristics can be combined in some embodiments of the invention.

In another aspect, the invention may be a device for the care of oral cavity, comprising: a handle; a head connected to the handle, and the head has a housing structure having a front surface and a rear surface opposite the front surface; a cavity formed in the rear surface of the housing structure, the housing structure includes a bulge, reaching upward from the recessed bottom of the circular cavity, and the cavity surrounds the bulge first cleaning device, formed from resilient material for cleansing soft oral tissues and located within the cavity, the curvature of the hull structure extends through the Central hole of the first cleaning device; and a second cleaning unit formed from a resilient material for cleansing soft oral tissues, while the second cleaning device is located on the convex hull designs.

In another aspect, the invention may be a device for the care of oral cavity, comprising: a handle; a head connected to the handle, and the head has a first surface, an opposite second surface, and a peripheral surface extending between the first and second surfaces; a first cleaning unit formed from a resilient material for cleansing soft oral tissues, with the first cleaning device is a pad having a hole which is fixed to the first surface of the head; a second cleaning unit formed from a resilient material for cleansing soft oral tissues, while the second the cleaning device is an elongated strip attached to the head along the peripheral surface of the head; and the third cleaning device formed of resilient material for cleansing soft TKA is her mouth, while the third cleaning device is a structure that is fixed on the part of the first surface of the head, which is open through the Central hole of the first cleaning device.

In another aspect, the invention can be a device for cleansing soft oral tissues, comprising: a lot of elastomeric rings located on the alignment and separation along the axis; and for each pair of adjacent elastomeric rings of elastomeric wall, extending along the axis and connecting adjacent elastomeric ring.

In an additional aspect, the invention can be a method of manufacturing a head fixtures for maintenance of the oral cavity, comprising: a) forming a casing head design made of hard plastic, while the main body structure has a front surface, a rear surface, a cavity formed in the rear surface, and a bulge, reaching upward from the recessed bottom of the trench, and the trench surrounds the bulge; (b) the injection box first dose thermoplastic elastomer through the first port into the hollow casing head design with the formation of the first cleaning device for cleaning the soft tissues of the oral cavity; and (c) the injection box second dose thermoplastic elastomer through the second port on the convex hull design goals and with the formation of the second cleaning device for cleaning the soft tissues of the mouth.

Brief description of drawings

Detailed description of drawings

In the following description the invention is discussed in terms of a manual toothbrush. However, other forms of the invention may be in the form of other devices for the care of oral cavity, including a device for cleaning soft tissue, automatic toothbrush or other with the handle of the device made with the possibility of maintenance of the oral cavity.

First, with reference to Fig. 1, the toothbrush 100 is illustrated according to one variant of implementation of the presented invention. Toothbrush 100 generally includes a handle 110 and the head 120. The handle 110 provides the user a mechanism by which he/she can easily grasp and manipulate the toothbrush 100. The handle 110 is illustrated in General terms and can be formed with many different shapes, sizes, materials and using a variety of manufacturing methods that are well known qualified specialists in this field. For example, the handle 110 mo is et to be made of elastomers, PP, SAN, ABS or even paper products, such as candy stick. If necessary, the handle 110 may include a handle with a suitable texture (not shown)made of thermoplastic elastomer, or may be a composite design. Simply put, parts of the handle 110 are not a limitation of the presented invention and, thus, do not require additional discussion for the purposes of the presented inventions.

Toothbrush 100 extends from the proximal end 112 to the distal end 113. The head 120 is functionally connected with the distal end of the handle 110. In General, the head 110 and the handle 120 of the toothbrush is preferably formed as a single structure using forming, rolling, machining or other suitable process. However, in other embodiments, implementation of the handle 110 and the head 120 can be formed as separate parts that are functionally connected at a later stage of the production process through any suitable technology known in this field, including, without limitation, thermal welding, Assembly with a tight fit coupling, adhesive or fasteners. The head 120 generally includes a front surface 121, a rear surface 122 and the peripheral surface 123. Peripheral surface 123 connects the front and rear surfaces 121, 122. The front surface 121, a rear surface 122 and the peripheral surface 123 of the head 120 may take a wide variety of forms and shapes, none of which is a limitation of the presented invention. In addition, despite the fact that the head 120 typically expands relative to the neck 111 of the handle 110, in some designs there may be a continuous extension or narrowing of the handle 110.

The front surface 121 (best visible in figure 3) contains a set of cleaning elements 130 extending from it for cleaning contact with the surface of the oral cavity. While a set of cleaning elements 130 is particularly suitable for the number of the key teeth, instead of or in addition to the teeth set of cleaning elements 130 can also be used for cleaning of soft tissues of the mouth such as the tongue, gums or cheeks. As used herein, the term "cleaning elements" is used in a General sense to refer to any structure that can be used for cleaning or massaging the surface of the oral cavity through the relative surface contact. The focus of the presented invention is directed to a layout device for cleaning soft tissue (which in the illustrated embodiment, contains three parts 140, 150, 160) on the head 120 of the toothbrush 100. Thus, a set of 130 elements for cleaning teeth on the front surface 121 of the head illustrated in General terms, implying that the toothbrush 100 may be included in any required configuration.

Next, with reference to figure 2, closeup shows the image of the head 120 of the toothbrush 100. The head 120 generally includes the first device 140 for Chi the weave of the soft tissues, a second device 160 for cleaning soft tissue and the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue. Devices 140, 150, 160 for cleaning soft tissue preferably made of a biocompatible elastic material, suitable for use in a device for the oral cavity hygiene, such as thermoplastic elastomer. As an example, one preferred elastomeric material is a block copolymer of styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene (SEBS), manufactured by GLS Corporation. Devices 140, 150, 160 for cleaning soft tissue can be made of various types of elastic materials or of the same elastic material with one or more different characteristics, such as color, hardness, density, flavor and/or perceived by the senses substance.

Referring simultaneously to Fig. 2, 5 and 6 will now discuss the details of the device 140 for cleaning soft tissue. The first device 140 for cleaning soft tissue represented in the form of a strip 141, which is attached to the rear surface 122 of the head 120 of the toothbrush 100. The gasket 141 is preferably formed directly in the cylinder 120, but if necessary it can be formed separately and later attached to the head 120, for example, by means of glue or ul is raspokoval welding. Strip 141 extends from the distal end 124 of the head 120 to the proximal end 125 of the head 120 and covers essentially the entire width of the head 120, extending from the first side edge 126 of the head to the second side edge 127 of the head 120.

Moreover, despite the fact that the gasket 141 is illustrated a single hole 142, in other variants of implementation, the spacer 141 may be provided with a number of separate and distinct holes, with each hole can accommodate a separate second structure 160 for cleaning soft tissue.

Strip 141 has an open upper surface 143, a lot of tabs 144 in the form of cones that stand up from the upper surface 143 of the strip 141. This microflora can be identified is in the cavities between the papillae on the greater part of the upper surface of the tongue, and along surfaces other soft tissues in the mouth. Elastomeric structure of the first device 140 for cleaning soft tissue provides the following upper surface 143 of the strip 141 the natural contours of the surfaces of the tissues of the mouth such as the tongue, cheeks, lips and gums of the user. In the illustrated embodiment, bumps 144 are preferably conical. As used herein, a "cone" or "tapered" means that they contain the correct cones, elements with the shape of a truncated cone and other shapes that taper to a narrow end and thereby resemble a cone, regardless of whether they are uniform, continuous in its narrowing or have a rounded cross-section. The base of each cone-shaped bumps 144 is greater than the portion corresponding to the tip.

In one embodiment, the first device 140 for cleaning soft tissue can be soaked as perceived by the senses component and an aromatic component. Next, referring simultaneously to Fig. 3-6, will now discuss the details of the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue. As best seen in Fig. 2 and 6, the first device 140 for cleaning soft tissue and the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue separated by a wall 170 (containing sections 170a-e) of the housing 120A design (which is made from hard plastic, such as SAN or PP) head 120. The wall 170 forms a separating barrier between the first device 140 for clean and soft tissues and the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue. In the illustrated embodiment, sections 170a-e wall 170 are separated by gaps/grooves that are filled with the elastic material of the first and/or third device 140 for cleaning soft tissue 150. Of course, in other embodiments, implementation, wall 170 may have a continuous structure, which completely isolates the first device 140 for cleaning soft tissue from the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue.

The exact range of density and/or hardness of the elastomeric material of the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue is not a limitation of the presented invention. The third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue may have a different density and/or hardness than the first and/or second device 140, 160 for cleansing soft tissue in some embodiments, implementation. In other embodiments, the implementation, the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue may have the same density and/or hardness, as the first and/or second device 140, 160 for cleaning soft tissue.

In addition, as discussed above relative to the first device 140 for cleaning soft tissue, elastic material of the third device 150 for cleaning soft tissue can also be impregnated touch material. Next, referring simultaneously to Fig. 2, 6 and 9, will now discuss the details of the second device 160 for cleaning soft tissue and its location on the head 120.
