SUBSTANCE: electric insulating composition includes suspension polyvinyl chloride, ester plasticiser, diphenyl propane, lead stabiliser, stearic acid, lubricating material, epoxidated soya oil, chlorinated paraffin, magnesium hydroxide, ammonia polyphosphate and organic clay.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to produce a composition with lower combustibility, low release of smoke and hydrogen chloride during combustion, and to increase value of physical and mechanical characteristics.

The invention relates to the cable industry, namely, insulating polymeric compositions based on plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC), low Flammability, low smoke and hydrogen chloride during combustion, as well as elevated values of physical and mechanical characteristics, designed for isolation of the inner and outer layers of wires and cables, operating in conditions of high fire risk.

Wires and cables are often the cause of the fire and flame spread. Therefore, the requirements to cable compounds according to the characteristics of fire safety every year increase.

The most effective method of reducing the Flammability of polymeric materials is the introduction of flame retardants. However, the combustion of polymeric materials containing conventional flame retardants (polybromated, oxides of antimony and the like), accompanied by the formation of highly toxic compounds. Therefore there is an urgent need for materials with reduced Flammability and low toxicity of combustion products.

To improve the fire resistance PVC compound and reduce smoke when burning as the flame retardants of demomodule use a combination of antimony trioxide, chlorinated paraffin, calcium carbonate and oxide of molybdenum (U.S. Patent No. 098748, 1978). However, despite the high efficiency of antimony oxide as a flame retardant halogen-containing polymer composition with its contents differ in a significant increase in smoke. And the price of molybdenum oxide is quite high.

Known composition according to the patent PRC No. 101974187, which includes 100 parts PVC, 20-30 parts DOP, 20-25 parts of calcium carbonate, 8-10 parts of calcium-zinc stabilizers, 2-3 parts lubricating agent, 5-10 parts of antimony oxide, 5-10 parts of stannate zinc, 2-3 parts depopulating agent, 2-3 parts of thermal stabilizers. The disadvantage of this invention is the relatively high content of fillers. The processing composition of such a high filling degree in modern high-speed extruders difficult and leads to rapid wear of the equipment. In addition, the high content of calcium carbonate reduces the mechanical characteristics of the PVC compound.

Closest to the technical essence and the achieved result is a polymer composition according to the patent of Russian Federation №2137789, including suspension PVC, dioctylphthalate, lead stabilizer, diphenylolpropane, stearic acid, pigments, chalk, in the following ratio of components, parts by weight:

The disadvantage of this composition is the large amount of lead stabilizer, which is impractical from an environmental point of view. In addition, asbestos fiber has a remarkable carcinogenic effect (SanPiN 1.2.2353-08 "Carcinogenic factors and the basic requirements for the prevention of carcinogenic hazard"). The international Agency for research on cancer has classified asbestos to the first, the most dangerous category of the list of carcinogens for which there are reliable information about their Carcinogenicity to humans. January 1, 1997, the use of asbestos was banned in France. Since 2005 the use of asbestos has been banned in the European Union.

The objective of the invention is to develop a composition characterized by low Flammability, low smoke, hydrogen chloride during combustion and elevated values of physical and mechanical characteristics.

The technical result is achieved in that the insulating polymer composition comprising a suspension polyvinyl chloride, ester plasticizer, filler, diphenylolpropane, lead stabilizer, stearic acid, optionally contains dumpdevice is - chlorinated paraffin lubricant is calcium stearate, as filler - organogeny, and as a flame retardant use magnesium hydroxide, ammonium polyphosphate, as a stabilizer - epoxydecane soybean oil in the following ratio, parts by weight:

In this dielectric composition using the following chemical products which meet the technical requirements on them, in particular: suspension PVC With-70 (PVC-70), manufactured according to GOST 14332-78; ester plasticizer is dioctylphthalate (DOP) according to GOST 8728-88 and tricresylphosphate (TKF) according to GOST 8728-88; stabilizer - rejonowy sulfate lead (Tossa) TU 6-09-600-76; antioxidant diphenylpropane (Suite) according to GOST 12138-86; repairing system - magnesium hydroxide on THE 1517-002-59074732-2007; the filler is calcium carbonate according to GOST 8253-79; the lubricant is calcium stearate on THE 6-09-4233-76; stearic acid according to GOST 9419-78; chlorinated paraffins (CP - 418 on THE 6-01-16-90, polyphosphate, ammo the Oia on THE 6-47-15-90, organogeny.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coloured polyvinyl chloride-based compositions which are suitable for making articles by extrusion. Disclosed is production of an extrusion coloured polyvinyl chloride composition involving preliminary mixing in a separate container an organic pigment with a liquid organosilicon oligomer to obtain a modified organic pigment. A first mixer is preheated to 110-125°C. The stabiliser used can be nontoxic complex calcium-zinc heat stabilisers.

SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a method for manufacturing composite material for shielding-mediated protection against electromagnetic emission and can be used in electronics, in radio engineering, and also in a series of special-destination articles. In addition, material may be used for anechoic boxes and in various assemblies of technical devices and radio apparatuses. Method comprises mixing modified graphite-containing conducting filler and polymeric binder at weight ratio (50-80):(20-50). Once ingredients combined, mixture is additionally subjected to thermal expansion in thermal shock mode at 250-310оС and then molded. Polymeric binder is selected from polyolefins, polystyrene, fluoroplastic, polyvinylchloride paste and modified graphite is product obtained by modifying graphite with concentrated sulfuric and nitric acids. Material is characterized by that, in wavelength band from 2 to 5 cm at thickness of material up to 0.1 mm, transmission coefficient is decreased from -40 to -85 dB.
