FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, specifically to cable engineering and polymer compositions based on plasticised polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with low inflammability, release of smoke and hydrogen chloride during combustion, intended for insulating inner and outer sheaths of cables. The electrically insulating composition contains suspended polyvinyl chloride, an ester plasticiser - dioctyl phthalate, tricresyl phosphate, chalk, soot, a stabiliser - melanine, antipyrenes - magnesium hydroxide and ammonium polyphosphate, smoke absorber - chlorinated paraffins, lubricant agent - calcium stearate, antioxidant - diphenylol propane and filler - organoclay, which is a product of modifying montmorillonite from the Gerpegezh deposit of the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic with cation-exchange capacity of 95 mg-eq/100 g clay with urea, in amount of 10% of the mass of montmorillonite.

EFFECT: obtaining a composition characterised by high non-flammability and low release of smoke during combustion.

The invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, namely, cable technology, and in particular, to polymer compositions based on plasticized polyvinyl chloride (PVC) with reduced Flammability, smoke and hydrogen chloride during combustion, designed to isolate the inner and outer layers of wires and cables, operating in conditions of high fire risk.

In recent years there has been considerable interest in increasing the fire resistance of PVC, suitable for use as insulation and sheath. Reducing the Flammability of plasticized PVC reach by introducing into the composition of the flame retardants. But regardless of the high value of oxygen index compound, when burned, releases a significant amount of hydrogen chloride, which is highly corrosive.

Known electrically insulating composition according to the patent PRC No. 101497724, low Flammability, low smoke and hydrogen chloride during combustion, in which to achieve these goals while maintaining a high level of technical characteristics is used, the combination of flame retardants-demopedia. However, the reduction in smoke and hydrogen chloride during combustion is not high enough.

The closest protechnic the banking entity and the achieved effect to the offer, a polymeric composition according to the patent of Russian Federation №2089571 containing in parts by weight: suspension PVC 100, ester plasticizer 55-65, lead stabilizer 4-8, flame retardant 80-130, diapir of polypropylenglycol and synthetic fatty acid or alpha-olefins of 0.1-1.

The composition is characterized by the following properties: CI 32-33%, maximum smoke density during combustion 310-330 m*kg-1. However, the level of fire safety performance is not high enough. In addition, this composition comprises as a stabilizer toxic lead compounds, the use of which does not meet requirements for cable products according to international standards environmental requirements (Directive EC 92/2003).

The task is to develop lead-free polyvinyl chloride compositions, characterized by a high degree of Flammability and low smoke when burning.

The technical result is achieved by introducing in the insulating composition based on a suspension of polyvinyl chloride, ester plasticizer, stabilizer, flame retardant, filler further comprises as a stabilizer melamine as a flame retardant in addition, ammonium polyphosphate, as an antioxidant diphenylolpropane, lubricating agent is calcium stearate, as the ester layer is of ficalora optional tricresylphosphate, dumpdevice - chlorinated paraffins and optionally as a filler - organogeny, which is a product of modification of montmorillonite field Gurpegi Kabardino-Balkarian Republic kationoobmennuyu capacity of 95 mEq/100 g clay urea, in the amount of 10% by weight of montmorillonite, in the following ratio of the components of the composition by mass:

Spieniony polyvinyl chloride C-70 (PVC-70) according to GOST 14332-78; ester plasticizer is dioctylphthalate (DOP), GOST 8728-88 and triricinolein (TKF), GOST 8728-88 or mixtures thereof; stabilizer - melamine according to GOST 7579-76; antioxidant - diphenylolpropane (Suite) according to GOST 12138-86; flame retardant is magnesium hydroxide on THE 1517-002-59074732-2007; the filler is chalk GOST 8253-79; lubricating agent is calcium stearate TU 6-09-4233-76; chlorinated paraffins (CP - 418 on THE 6-01-16-90, ammonium polyphosphate on THE 6-47-15-90, soot according to GOST 7885-86 and organogeny. Moreover, Organoclay is a product of modification of montmorillonite kationoobmennuyu capacity of 95 mEq/100 g clay urea, in the amount of 10% by weight montmorin is Nita.

When introduced into the insulating composition together with organogeny, repairing system of magnesium hydroxide and ammonium polyphosphate, is the system working as reactive flame retardant.

The following examples illustrate but do not limit the invention.

Made of PVC compositions according to the invention (example 1-4). The formulation composition shown in table 1.

Example

In operating the mixer sequentially loaded into the quantities, provided the recipe (table 1), PVC, dioctylphthalate, melamine stabilizer, diphenylolpropane, chalk, carbon black, calcium stearate, tricresylphosphate, chlorinated paraffin, magnesium hydroxide, ammonium polyphosphate and organogeny. The obtained powder mixture is poured into an extruder and processed in zones I-IV, at a temperature of 146°C, 149°C, 155°C and 160°C respectively.

From the obtained granulate is produced samples for testing.

Maximum smoke density (DM) in terms of burning and decay is determined according to GOST 24632-81, separation of hydrogen chloride - according to GOST R IEC 60754-1-99, limiting oxygen index (LOI) - according to GOST 12.1.044.89. The test results shown in table 2.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a heterophase polypropylene resin, a method of producing such a polypropylene resin and use thereof in making articles, particularly as material for making insulation and semiconductor layers of power cables. The heterophase polypropylene resin contains a matrix phase of a propylene radom copolymer and a rubber phase of an ethylene-propylene copolymer dispersed in the matrix phase. The method of producing a polyvinyl chloride extrusion composition involves preliminary mixing in a separate vessel a basic heat stabiliser of tribasic lead sulphate with an additional heat stabiliser. SUBSTANCE: polymer composition contains a mixture of (i) a polymer selected from polyethylene, polypropylene, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride or a mixture thereof (ii) cellulose, (iii) ammonium nitrate, (iv) nutrients selected from blue-green algae and/or yeast, and (v) water. This composition can be mixed with a pure base polymer to obtain a polymer master batch. The master batch of the composition can be mixed with a pure base polymer which is suitable for obtaining products which are biodegradable. EFFECT: biodegradation of the composition within 6 to 36 months, environmental safety, preparation of the biodegradable composition does not require special equipment.

SUBSTANCE: fire-resistant composition of thermoplastic polyurethane consists of the following components, wt %: thermoplastic polyurethane 35-85, organic phosphorus-containing fire-retardant agent 0.5-15, dipentaerythritol 0.5-10, talc 0.5-5, melamine derivative 5-35. The composition contains thermoplastic polyurethane with equivalent ratio of diisocyanate and alcohol groups in diol and polyol of 0.95-1.10. The organic phosphorus-containing fire-retardant agent used is phosphinate, diphosphinate or a high-molecular weight derivative thereof. The melamine derivative used is melamine cyanurate, melamine phosphate, melamine polyphosphate or melamine borate.

EFFECT: high fire-resistance and flame-retardation due to initiated charcoal formation during combustion.
