Method for determining quality of mixture of components differing as to colour

FIELD: measurement equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method involves analysis of an image of mixture surface and determination of coefficient of its non-homogeneity. The investigated mixture is uniformly distributed on a smooth surface and divided into necessary number of portions; digital images of their surfaces with build-up of brightness histograms are obtained. Then, each portion is divided into equal number of parts (probes) with build-up of their brightness histograms. Mixture non-homogeneity coefficient is calculated by comparing digital images of parts (probes) of a piston with an image of the whole portion of the investigated mixture as per brightness histograms.

EFFECT: reducing labour intensity, increasing speed and accuracy of determination of quality of mixture of components that differ as to colour.

The invention relates to a measuring and control technique, namely the processing of bulk materials, including those containing nanostructured components, and can be applied in chemical, construction, food, pharmaceutical, electronic and other industries.

There is a method of determining the coefficient of heterogeneity hardly separated mixture of granular materials (see Patent 2371698 RF, CL G01N 1/28. The method for determining the coefficient of heterogeneity of the mixture of loose materials. / Lebedev A.E., Zaitsev A.I., Kapranova A.B., Pavlov AAA, Sugak AV; applicant and patentee of Yaroslavl. GOS. Technology. Univ - 2008101209/12,; Appl. 09.01.2008, publ. 27.10.2009), including determining the number of samples, the minimum allowable sample weight sampling of the mix, finding the concentration of a key component in the sample, the calculation of coefficient heterogeneity of the mixture. The disadvantages of this method include the inaccuracy of the calculation of the heterogeneity of the mixture largest concentration of the key component in the sample the range of pixel values.

For the prototype technical solutions taken way to determine the quality of the mixture components, distinguished by color (see Patent 2385454 RF, CL G01N 1/38 B01F 3/18 / Method of determining the quality of the mixture components, distinguished by color. / Tarschys M., Korolev L.V., Zaitsev A.I.; the applicant is spruce and patentee of Yaroslavl. GOS. Technology. Univ - No. 2008144214/12; Appl. 06.11.2008, publ. 27.03.2010), including the selection and scanning of samples, the calculation of the concentrations of key components in the samples based on the analysis of their images and the calculation of the heterogeneity of the mixture by fluctuations of these concentrations relative to the average concentration. The disadvantages of this method include the complexity of the calculation of the heterogeneity of the mixture due to the necessity of sampling the mixture and calculate the concentrations of key components in the samples based on the analysis of their images, as well as adjustments due to random fluctuations in the number of particles is a key component on the surface of the observations, which leads to high complexity, low-speed and accuracy of determining the quality of the mixture components, distinguished by color.

An object of the invention is to reduce the complexity, increase the speed and accuracy of determining the quality of the mixture components, distinguished by color (Express method).

Figure 1 shows the digital image of the investigated mixture model materials with the calculated values of the coefficients of the heterogeneity of the mixture components, distinguished by color.

The solution of this problem is achieved in that in the method of determining the quality of the mixture components, differing in color, including image analysis is poverhnosti mixture and determination of rate heterogeneity, the analyzed mixture evenly distribute on a smooth surface and is divided into the required number of servings, get digital images of their surfaces with the histogram of brightness, divide each portion into equal number of parts (samples) constructing their histograms of brightness, and the coefficient of heterogeneity of the mixture is calculated by comparing digital images of parts (samples) portion with the image of the entire portion of the analyzed mixture histograms of brightness.

For comparison, the images are encouraged to use one of the criteria for the rejection, such as Waziristan intersection of the histograms of the Swain-Ballard:

S=[1-(j=1nmin(xj,yj)/j=1nxj)]100%,(1)

where n is the number of brightness levels;

xj, yjthe number of pixels of the j-th level is rasti for column x, y.

The way to determine the quality of the mixture components, differing in color, is as follows.

At the end of the process of mixing the analyzed mixture evenly distribute on a smooth surface and divided into a certain number of equal portions, depending on conditions and requirements of a particular production to the minimum volume of the batch mixture, which allows to increase the accuracy of calculations by eliminating the influence of the edge zones, distorting the image histogram of the surface of the mixture, and random fluctuations in the number of components on the surface of the observation. Get black and white digital image of the surface of these portions of the analyzed mixture. Carry out the building of their histograms of brightness. Divide the received image portions on a certain number of parts (samples) k is equal to the area depending on conditions and requirements of a particular production to the minimum size and number of analyzed samples. Is the histogram of the brightness of the images of each part (sample) k and then comparing them with the luminance histogram of the image of the entire portion of the mixture according to the formula (1). The quality of the mixture components is determined using the coefficient of heterogeneity Vc.

Vc=100St p1k(Si-Stp)2/(k-1),(2)

where k is the number of parts (samples) portion of the mixture; Si- deviation of the histogram of brightness of the image of the i-th part (sample) portion from the brightness histogram of the image of the entire portion of the mixture; STr- the desired value of deviation of the image.

The desired value of the deviation of the image can be specified or calculated by the formula:

Stp=i=1kSi/k,(3)

The way to determine the quality of the mixture components, distinguished by color, checked on the separate materials. Used two-component mixture (a mixture of black (25%) and yellow millet (75%)). Mixing was carried out in a laboratory drum mixer. The analyzed mixture was placed on a belt conveyor and distribute it evenly on the surface, divided it into equal portions of square form with the ribbon width b (figure 1) and received them a digital image of the surface of the mixture with the histogram of brightness. Uniform distribution on a smooth surface and divide the mixture into portions allows you to get a clear image of the edge zones without distortion histograms of brightness and reduces the likelihood of accidental fluctuations in the number of components on the surface of the observation. Images of the surfaces of the portions was a square with a side of 1500 pixels and 72 dpi. Image portions was divided into 25 equal parts (samples)(k=25), for each parts was built by the luminance histogram. Was carried out the comparison of histograms of brightness of each part (sample) portions of the mixture using a deviation by the formula (1) (Si) histogram of brightness of the image of the entire portion of the mixture and determined the coefficient of heterogeneity Vcby the formula (2). Carried out the sampling of the analyzed portions of the mixtures and their analysis on the content of key components by calculating the coefficient of heterogeneity (V CfandKt) by known conventional methods [see the book. Makarov SCI Apparatus for mixing bulk materials - M.: Mashinostroenie, 1973]. The results of calculations of the coefficient of heterogeneity is proposed and traditional methods showed satisfactory convergence (figure 1).

The way to determine the quality of the mixture components, differing in color, including the analysis of the image of the surface of the mixture and the determination of rate heterogeneity, characterized in that the mixture is spread evenly on a smooth surface, is divided into the required number of servings, get digital images of their surfaces with the histogram of brightness, divide each portion into equal number of parts - samples build their histograms of brightness, and the coefficient of heterogeneity of the mixture is calculated by comparing digital images of parts of the sample portion with the image of the entire portion of the analyzed mixture histograms of brightness.
