SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to stabilised aqueous antimicrobial compositions. The antimicrobial composition contains 2-25 wt % of 2,2-dibrom-3-nitrilopropionamide, 5-30 wt % of an aliphatic compound containing 2 to 6 hydroxyl groups, 20-70 wt % of ethylene glycol, 2-30 wt % of water.

EFFECT: invention provides stability and low viscosity of the composition.

The present invention relates to a stabilized aqueous antimicrobial compositions containing 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide (DBNPA).

Aqueous composition containing DBNPA and glycerol, as described in patent JP 3287937. However, the composition contains 65% glycerol. Currently, there is a need for new stable aqueous compositions containing DBNPA, and are primarily characterized by a lower viscosity and/or more stable.

The purpose of the present invention is to develop these stabilized compositions.

A brief description of the invention

The present invention relates to an antimicrobial composition, comprising: (a) 2-25 wt.% 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide, (b) 2-30 wt.% water, (b) 5-30 wt.% aliphatic compounds containing from 2 to 6 hydroxyl groups, and (g) 20-70 wt.% of ethylene glycol.

Detailed description of the invention

In the present description uses the following standard terms, unless otherwise indicated. The term "antimicrobial agent" refers to a compound capable to inhibit the growth of or controlling the growth of microorganisms at the site of action, antimicrobial agents include antibacterial, fungicidal and algaecidal drugs. The term "microorganism" includes, for example, fungi (such as yeast and mold), the tank is ' series and algae. The term "site actions" refers to industrial systems or product that are subject to contamination by microorganisms. In the present description uses the following abbreviations: ppm million - mass part per million, AI - active ingredient. The percentage of antimicrobial compounds in the compositions of the present invention was determined in the calculation on the total weight of the active ingredients in the composition, i.e. themselves antimicrobial compounds except for any number of solvents, carriers, dispersing agents, stabilizers, or other materials that may be present. Unless otherwise stated, percentages (%) are in weight percents (wt.%).

Preferably the antimicrobial composition further comprises 0.1 to 6 wt.% a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, preferably 0.5 to 6 wt.%, preferably 2-6 wt.%, preferably 4-5,5 wt.%, preferably 0.7 to 5 wt.%, preferably 0.7 to 2 wt.%, preferably 0.9 to 3 wt.%, preferably 0.9 to 1.6 wt.%. "MI" means 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, also known as 2-methyl-C-isothiazolone. "HMI" denotes 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, also known as 5-chloro-2-methyl-3-isothiazolone. Preferably, the mass ratio of HMI and MI is at least 1:1, in another embodiment at least 2:1. Preferred the nutrient mass ratio of HMI and MI is not more than 4:1. Preferably the ratio of HMI/MI is approximately 3:1. Preferably the mixture of HMI/MI is a composition mainly containing no salt. "Mainly contains no salt " means that the composition contains not more than 0.5%, preferably not more than 0.1%, preferably not more than 0.05% of metal salt based on the weight of the composition. Preferably the antimicrobial composition of the present invention contains not more than 0.1%, preferably not more than 0.05%, preferably not more than 0.01% of metal salts. Preferably, the composition including DBNPA and HMI/MI contains from 12 to 20% DBNPA, from 0.2 to 3% of a mixture of HMI/MI, from 10 to 27% of aliphatic compounds containing from 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups (preferably glycerol), from 30% to 60% glycol and from 7 to 20% water. Preferably, the composition including DBNPA and HMI/MI contains from 8 to 15% DBNPA, from 3 to 7% mixture of HMI/MI, from 5 to 30% aliphatic compounds containing from 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups (preferably glycerol), from 10 to 35% glycol and 20 to 55% water. Preferably, the composition including DBNPA and HMI/MI, contains from 2 to 10% DBNPA, from 0.9 to 3% of a mixture of HMI/MI, from 10 to 27% of aliphatic compounds containing from 3 to b hydroxyl groups (preferably glycerol), from 35 to 65% glycol and from 7 to 20% water.

Preferably the antimicrobial composition further comprises 1-20 mA is.% 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propane diol (BNPD), preferably at least 2%, preferably at least 3%, preferably at least 4%, preferably at least 5%, preferably at least 7%, preferably not more than 15%, preferably not more than 12%, preferably not more than 10%, preferably not more than 8%, preferably not more than 7%.

Preferably the composition contains at least 4% DBNPA, preferably at least 6%, preferably at least 8%, preferably at least 10%, preferably at least 12%, preferably not more than 22%, preferably not more than 20%, preferably not more, 18%, preferably not more than 17%.

Preferably the composition contains at least 3% of water, preferably at least 5%, preferably at least 7%, preferably at least 8%, preferably at least 9%. Preferably the amount of water is not more than 27%, preferably not more than 25%, preferably not more than 20%, preferably not more than 18%, preferably not more than 16%, preferably not more than 14%, preferably not more than 12%.

Preferably aliphatic compound containing from 2 to 6 hydroxyl groups, selected from aliphatic compounds containing from three to eight carbon atoms, preferably from compounds containing from 3 to 6 hydroxyl what's groups and from three to six carbon atoms. Preferably aliphatic compounds containing from 2 to 6 hydroxyl groups, selected from the group including glyceraldehyde, dihydroxyacetone, glycerin and monosaccharides (including restored monosaccharides, for example, sorbitol). Preferably the compound containing from 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups and from three to six carbon atoms, chosen from a group comprising glycerin, sorbitol, mannitol, xylitol, aritra and threitol. Preferably the composition contains at least 10% of aliphatic compounds containing from 2 to 6 hydroxyl groups, preferably at least 12%, preferably at least 14%, preferably at least 16%. Preferably the number of aliphatic compounds containing from 2 to b hydroxyl groups is not more than 27%, preferably not more than 25%, preferably not more than 23%, preferably not more than 21%.

Preferably the composition contains at least 25% glycol, preferably at least 30%, preferably at least 32%, preferably at least 34%, preferably at least 36%. Preferably the amount of glycol is not more than 65%, preferably not more than 60%, preferably not more than 57%, preferably not more than 55%, preferably not more than 52%, preferably not more than 50%, preferably not more than 48%, predpochtitel is but not more than 46%, preferably not more than 44%. Glycol is characterized by the following structure

R1-O-Zn-R2where n is from 1 to 6, R1and R2independently represent hydrogen or C1-C4alkyl, and when n is 1, at least one of R1and R2is not a hydrogen, a-Z - means

-(CH(R3)-CH(R4)-O-, where each link Z, R3and R4independently represent hydrogen or methyl, R1and R2they are not the stands, and where the ratio of the mass of all parts of Z glycol, where R3and R4both represent hydrogen, and the masses of Z units, where one of R3and R4denotes methyl, is not more of 0.66:1. Preferably R1and R2independently represent hydrogen or methyl. Preferably n is from 1 to 4. Preferred glycols include triethylene glycol, tetraethylene glycol, dipropyleneglycol, monobutyl ether of triethylene glycol and polyethylene glycol with a molecular mass Mnfrom 200 to 300.

Adding aliphatic compounds containing from 2 to 6 hydroxyl groups, increased stability DBNPA some glycols sometimes difficult to assess due to the higher stability DBNPA in these glycols.

Preferably the composition includes DBNPA, BNPD and the mixture of HMI/MI. Preferably the composition comprises from 12 to 22% DBNP is, from 4 to 12% BNPD and from 0.2 to 3% of a mixture of HMI/MI. Preferably the water content is at least 7%, preferably at least 8%. Preferably the number of aliphatic compounds containing from 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups is from 10 to 27%.

Preferably the composition comprises from 3 to 10% DBNPA, from 7 to 18% BNPD and from 0.2 to 3% of a mixture of HMI/MI. The preferred glycol is tetraethylene glycol, dipropyleneglycol or triethylene glycol, the preferred amount of glycol is from 35 to 55%. Preferably the water content is not more than 20%, preferably not more than 18%, preferably not more than 16%, preferably not more than 14%. Preferably the water content is at least 5%, preferably at least 7%, preferably at least 8%. Preferably the number of aliphatic compounds containing from 3 to 6 hydroxyl groups, up to 10 to 30%.

Antimicrobial composition of the present invention can be used for the inhibition is of the growth of microorganisms or higher forms of aquatic life (such as protozoa, invertebrates, bryozoans, dinoflagellates, crustaceans, molluscs etc), with the introduction of anti-microbial effective amount of the composition to the area inside the site or neighbouring land area that is subject to contamination by microorganisms. These compositions were obtained on the basis of not containing salt antimicrobial composition of HMI/MI, unless otherwise noted. These compositions were kept in a drying Cabinet at 40C and 60 days were analyzed by reducing the amount of the antimicrobial ingredients. The TAG indicates the triethylene glycol.

1. An antimicrobial composition that includes:

3. The composition according to claim 2, additionally comprising 0.1 to 6 wt.% a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one.

4. The composition according to claim 3, including 7-25 wt.% water and 8-22 wt.% 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide.

5. The composition according to claim 4, in which a mass ratio of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-it is from 4:1 to 1:1.

6. The composition according to claim 2, further comprising 1-20 wt.% 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propane diol.

7. The composition according to claim 6, including 5-18 wt.% water.

8. The composition according to claim 2, further comprising 4-12 wt.% 2-bromo-2-nitro-1,3-propane diol and 0.2-2 wt.% a mixture of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one, where the mass ratio of 5-chloro-2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-one and 2-methyl-4-isothiazolin-3-it is from 4:1 to 1:1.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to disinfection of freight compartments of vehicles and containers after transporting animals, materials and animal products, as well as other veterinary inspection items. EFFECT: invention cuts the duration of the disinfecting process and consumption of the disinfectant while maintaining quality of disinfection, and also reduces the corrosive effect of the disinfectant.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary, in particular to preparations for disinfection of objects of veterinary supervision against disease-causing microbes. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly antimicrobial compositions. The antimicrobial composition containing (a) at least one isothiazoline-3 selected from a group consisting of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one, N-(n-butyl)-1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and their combinations and (b) at least one zinc compound selected from a group consisting of zinc chloride, zinc sulphide, zinc carbonate, basic zinc carbonate, zinc oxides, zinc hydroxides and their combination where specified isothiazolin-3-one is found in the amount 1 to 500 portions/million, zinc compound is found in the amount 5 to 200000 portions/million, and the mass ratio of isothiazolin-3-one to zinc compound makes 1:2000 to 100:1.
