SUBSTANCE: polymer pipe of a cooling tower sprinkler comprises flat solid walls and is made in the cross section as a rectangle or a square, besides, on pipe walls there are rows of ledges, and each ledge is arranged at the angle to the cross section of the pipe from 30° to 45°, at the same time the pipe that is rectangular or square in the cross section is made with rounded angles, in the longitudinal direction the polymer pipe is separated with transverse convex corrugations of even width into sections, sections serially alternate into sections with ledges and sections with flat walls, height of ledges is equal to the height of transverse convex corrugations.

EFFECT: increased intensity of heat and mass exchange with increased reliability of operation of a cooling tower sprinkler assembled from these pipes.

The invention relates to the field of recycling water supply, namely the structural elements of the towers and other apparatus for heat and mass transfer between liquid and gaseous environments.

Known pipe of the cooling tower fill made from polymer material having the shape of a hexagon and is made with longitudinal grooves on the edges and holes on the sides and/or edges, arranged in a checkerboard pattern, while the length of the pipe have a different cross-section, the pipe profile in the largest transverse cross-sectional level, and in the lowest section with tabs on the sides (see RU patent for useful model No. 28766, CL F28F 25/08, 10.04.2003).

Data pipe fill enable you to collect quite effective and water-resistant sprinklers. However, the sprinklers of these pipes have a relatively high aerodynamic resistance, and in addition, the disadvantage of these pipes sprinklers is the complexity of the Assembly unit in the process of its manufacture.

Known pipe unit of cooling tower fill, made of polymer material with a cylindrical cross-section and corrugated walls (see inventor's certificate SU. 1359634, CL F28F 25/08, 15.12.1987).

Disadvantages fill with such pipes are insufficient rigidity of the sprinkler relatively high aerodynamic resistance and low effect what you want to make heat and mass transfer.

Closest to the invention to the technical essence and the achieved result is a polymeric pipe of cooling tower fill, containing a flat solid wall and made in cross-section in the form of a rectangle or square, on the walls of the tube is successively alternating series of protrusions or depressions, and each protrusion or depression are at an angle to the cross section of the pipe from 30° to 45° (smatest RU # 2309356, CL F28F 25/08, 27.10.2007).

The above-described execution of polymer pipes block the cooling tower fill is allowed to increase rigidity and to simplify the Assembly unit of the fill. However, the efficiency of heat transfer is not high enough due to lack of high turbulization of the flow of the cooling air.

The objective of the invention is to simplify the design of polymer pipe sprinkler, reduce material consumption and a more uniform distribution of flow of water in the cross section of the cooling tower fill collected from these pipes.

The technical result achieved from the use of the invention is to increase the intensity of heat and mass transfer with increasing reliability of cooling tower fill, collected from these pipes.

This problem is solved and the technical result is achieved due to the fact that the tube-polymer cooling tower fill contains flat JV is osnia wall and made in cross-section in the form of a rectangle or square, on the walls of the tube is a series of protrusions, each protrusion is positioned at an angle to the cross section of the pipe from 30° to 45°, and rectangular or square in cross section of the pipe is made with rounded corners, in the longitudinal direction of the polymeric pipe separated transverse convex corrugations of equal width at the section, in this section sequentially on alternate sections with tabs and sections with flat walls, the height of the protrusions is equal to the height of the transverse convex corrugations.

Analysis of polymer pipes in the structure of the sprinklers showed that the design of the fill can be simplified while increasing the rigidity of the structure due to the execution of fill of the same type of corrugated pipes with rectangular or square cross-section with rounded corners in cross-section, which almost completely cover the cross-section of the tower. Falling drops of water, falling into the swirling air flow, discarded on the walls of the channels formed polymer pipes and drain them in the form of a film, which allows to achieve high efficiency of heat exchange.

Pipe-polymer cooling tower fill contains a flat solid wall 1 and made in cross-section in the form of a rectangle or square. This invention can be used in devices for cooling water in the water circulation systems of industrial enterprises, if not orestina contact cooling water and cooling her air.

SUBSTANCE: short-layered cooling tower sprinkler consists of corrugated sheets assembled into packets and installed vertically and parallel to the oppositely directed corrugations on adjacent sheets; the sheets with slanting corrugations alternate with the sheets of with straight corrugations. Height of the sprinkler packets is within the limits defined by a ratio H=m·de, where h is height of sprinkler packets, m is a coefficient equal m=3÷6, de is an equivalent diameter of the irrigator channel equal de=4F/p, F is area of the living section of the irrigator channel hole, P is perimetre of the irrigator channel hole. In each subsequent sheet with straight corrugations direction of the corrugation is changed to 90°. The straight corrugations are made of trapezoidal section. The slanting corrugations on sheets are made with the slope angle α=65÷85° relative to a horizontal edge of the sheet. In each subsequent sheet with slanting corrugations direction of the corrugation is changed to the opposite. The slanting corrugations are made of triangle section. Along the generatrix of each cylindrical meshed shell there are solid plates fused with width from 3 to 15 mm, and in the inner volume of shells there are inserts in the form of a meshed shell of triangular profile with length from 0.1 to 0.3 of the height of the cylindrical shell with solid plates fused along generatrices with width from 3 to 15 mm. In the cooling tower sprinkler, in the form of a unit of meshed cylindrical shells of different height, rows of shells of larger height alternate with two rows of meshed shells of smaller height arranged at upper and lower ends of the shells of larger height, and in the inner volume of the meshed cylindrical shells of larger height at their ends there are inserts representing a meshed shell of triangular profile with height from 0.1 to 0.3 of the larger shell height with solid plates aligned along generatrices with width from 3 to 15 mm, and in the inner volume of the shell of smaller height there is an insert with height from 0.5 to 1.0 of the height of the smaller shell.

SUBSTANCE: plate of sprinkler of herring-bone structure, which is made from polymer material, for example PVC, includes ruffles in the form of continuous wave; at that, each ruffle is made in the form of zigzag-shaped sequence of short channels similar as to length and section and oriented towards each other at equal angle of not less than 90° and not more than 180°, and ratio of height of ruffle to length of rib of short channel along zigzag-shaped guide is at least 2.5. On the plate base of sprinkler of herring-bone structure there assembled are various versions of sprinkler unit of cooling tower. As per the first and the second version of design the sprinkler unit includes many vertically installed and alternating plates of herring-bone structure and flat plates with formation of zigzag-shaped channels identical as to height of sprinkler unit. As per the second version of design, in sprinkler unit the even corrugated plates of sprinkler of herring-bone structure are turned about horizontal axis through 180° relative to even corrugated plates of sprinkler of herring-bone structure. SUBSTANCE: mechanical-draft tower consists of case, of sprinkling device, of liquid-collecting tank and of fan. The case is composed of two parts - of an upper one including a sprinkler and a knock-out drum with whole torch sprayers and of a lower part wherein there is arranged the cooled water collecting tank with a fan mounted on it. Also, the fan is made out of sheet stainless steel. A diffuser is installed into the collecting tank. The diffuser corresponds to a part of the case connected with the fan. The fan is equipped with a plastic working wheel and a multi-speed electric engine. Depending on weather conditions during operation the engine changes output of the tower due to change of air consumption. The sprinkler consists of stacked in layers parallel tubular elements out of thermo-plastic material with a lattice wall. On ends the tubular elements are connected by welding. They have triangle crosswise section. Between each layer of the tubular elements across the tubular elements along each of their ends there is laid a strip out of thermo-plastic material. The strip is welded with tubular elements in points of their contact with the strip. During welding the end sections of the tubular elements and of the strips laid between them are fused thus forming solid end walls of a unit. Cavities of each tubular element and tube space are filled with hollow polymer balls. Diametre of the balls is at 5-10 % bigger, than maximal dimension of a mesh of the lattice wall of the tubular elements.

Proposed adapter comprises packs of a bundle of vertical tubes arranged in parallel that featured cross-section varying along their axes and spacer units composed of horizontal triangular prisms. Round edge of plate section is directed toward gas flow while sharp edge are directed toward fluid flow. Angle of attack of said elements with respect to gas flow varies from 0 to 20 degrees. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of making regular packing for mass exchange processes in absorption and rectification columns. In making packing layer, first, carcass should be made. Its elements may be fabricated from metall rods, angles, hollow tubes or wire, as well as from woven cables or other nonmetallic materials with proper resistance to media of their use. Packing elements representing horizontal corrugated tapes and screen flat vertical metal sheets are secured on said carcass. Said tapes may be made from both metal and plastics, or chemically and mechanically resistant fabric. Thickness of rods may be decreased as well as packing hydraulic resistance.

Drop-shaped element side surface, starting from joint rod, is furnished with extensions making γ-shaped section. Surface of γ-shaped elements is made from lavsan monothreads that make a screen. Section rounded edge is directed toward gas flow while section ends are directed toward fluid flow. Angle of attach of said elements with respect to gas flow varies from 0° to 20°, while said elements are staggered. Note here that elements in adjacent lines arranged over apparatus height are inclined in opposite directions and displaced in horizontal by 1.0-3.0 of packing element widths. Spacing of elements in every line makes 1.5-3.5 of said width. Note also that element height makes 4.0-8.0 of element width.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to regular packings to be used in various industries. Regular packing consists of contact packs 1 arranged spaced apart along apparatus height and made up of corrugated sheets 2 mounted vertically and in parallel to stay in contact by extending crimps 3 so that free channels 4 are formed. Sets of spacings 6 are fitted between said contact packs and made up of bulk elements arranged in rows. Every said bulk element represents triangular prism 8 with two convex top faces and concave bottom face. Prism lattice surface features identical-shape holes with free area. Height of aforesaid packs 1 relates to that of set of spacings 6 as 2:1. Total height of said set makes, at least, two rows of prisms turned through 90° in adjacent rows. Corrugated sheets 2 of adjacent contact packs are turned through 60-120° relative to each other in horizontal plane.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with the field of chemical industry and intended for fine separation of gas from a liquid at reconstruction of separators and filter-separators of the absorptive and rectifying columns. The multi-cartridge ring-type separating nozzle contains: a cover, a filtering unit, a device of water separation, an inlet connection pipe connected with the filtering unit by a pin, gas-distributing discs fixed to the pin. The filtering unit is made in the form of mesh cartridges mounted one on another. At that the internal surfaces of the mesh cartridges form a gas-distributing collector. The device of water separation is made in the form of the overflowing pipes located in the cartridges and mounted under them the drain pans with the axial apertures. Each mesh cartridge is supplied with a baffle made in the form of a plain disk with an axial aperture and a ring-type bead along the disc perimeter. Each mesh is formed by simultaneous winding of two parallel bands of the mesh, one of which is made out of a flat mesh, and the other - out of a corrugated mesh. On the side of its cylindrical internal surface a mesh cartridge is supplied with a cylindrical perforated shell. At that the first layers of the mesh band are fixed to the perforated shell by metal staples or welded to the perforated shell. At least two external layers of each mesh band are fixed by metal staples. The number of the mesh cartridges makes 6. The overflowing pipes are installed uniformly around the nozzle on a circumference, diameter of which makes from 0.85 up to 0.92 of the external diameter of the mesh cartridge and the diameter of a flow area of each overflowing pipe makes from 0.038 up to 0.05 of the external diameter of a mesh cartridge, and the total area of apertures of the shell perforation makes from 50 up to 60 % of the area of the internal cylindrical surface of the shell. In result the invention allows to increase efficiency of separation at the expense of prevention of the separated liquid accumulation in the cartridges of the nozzle.
